Jake Killeen is returning to the Fever after playing in the AFL the past couple of seasons. Last year for the Pittsburgh Power, Jake set a Power franchise record with 7.5 sacks, and also tallied 26 tackles, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery in 17 games.

Jake “The Wolfman” Killeen was a fan favorite and dominant performer when he played for the Fever in 2011 and 2012 helping the team to back to back Intense Conference Championships. In 2012, where he was 1st Team All-IFL, he amassed 28 tackles with 24 of them being solo and 9.5 sacks during the regular season.  During the playoffs he recorded 10 tackles, 4 solo with 1 sack. After that season Killeen left the Fever for the Indianapolis Colts and subsequently the AFL.

Rickey George is a young and upcoming coach that landed his first head coaching job in the Kosovo SuperLeague in the 2013-14 season. Rickey in 2013 was the Vice President of Basketball Operations for the World Basketball Association (WBA) based in Atlanta, George. He and was responsible for day to day management decisions regarding the (10) year old summer professional league that is noted for producing NBA player Jamario Moon and lots of overseas professionals. Rickey coached the WBA All Star Team in the 2013 Global Basketball Sumer League in Las Vegas. His top player Jeremy Price was signed by the top team in Angola based on his performances. Rickey is a former overseas professional player that had stints in Estonia, Kosovo and the ABA.

Patrick Andries has a degree in physics and biology from DePaul University and a teaching certificate in metaphysics from the College of Metaphysics. He has over twenty years of experience teaching and applying the principles of metaphysics in his life. In 2002 Patrick Andries began his Intuitive Health Coaching practice where he began working with clients to help them understand mind-body health and provide healing support through Bioenergetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.), Quantum Touch, and Intuitive Breathing. David Rivinus began studying dreams while working with children at a mental health clinic in the late 1960s. During that time, he attended seminars offered by Gestalt therapists who were also dream experts. This led to him developing his own simple, effective method of dream interpretation. While doing his research, he was struck by how “dreamlike” the unusual events of waking life can be. His understanding that one can analyze and interpret these waking life events, reaching the same kinds of profound, helpful insights that one gains from nighttime dreams, revolutionized his approach to dreams and their purpose in our lives. Since then, he has taught dream classes on three continents and in four languages, highlighting both nighttime and “waking” dreams. In 2012, he was a presenter at the annual conference of the International Association for the Study of Dreams. He participates in online dream-related blogs, teaches dream classes via Skype and conference calls, and regularly facilitates a local dream seminar in his home town of Portland, Oregon. He wrote the book "Always Dreaming--Gaining Insights from the Metaphors of our Sleeping and Waking Lives" to document his findings.

Shannon Guest began painting guardian angel portraits in 2000, after several requests were made of her to make this effort. Originally, the portraits were only available in oil media. About five years ago, Shannon began to offer the portraits in pastels, which allowed for them to be much more affordable. As everything is really just energy, the portraits may be done in person or remotely. Shannon begins her process by tapping into the soul of the person, saying a prayer, and then starts to sketch. Although she does “see” the image to some degree, her process is more like automatic writing or channelling, where the information comes through her hands. She will also hear some of the information. Several years ago, Shannon began to offer a choice of guardian angel portrait, soul portrait, or guide portrait, and recently has even had a request for a dragon portrait. If there is a specific request for another type of being that is with the person, Shannon will make every effort to comply. All three styles of portrait will include messages given through color, gesture and symbols for the person in the moment. However, the soul portrait is really representative of the soul signature of the person and will be all about the individual. Past lives may be brought in if they are important in this particular lifetime. In addition, Shannon receives an individualized channelled written message, which may be relevant in the moment or more of a broad view of the soul or lifetime.

Shannon has a great love of nature and the outdoors and is also an avid photographer, with a great affinity for seeing “spirit” in nature, in the form of symbols, faces, magical creatures, elemental beings, etc. within trees, rocks, water and literally all around us. Her belief is that these are messages and a form of communication that the natural world is attempting to give us. She has compiled a book of these photographs called “Messages from the Lorax,” which is available on her website and on Amazon. The book is in the process of being updated, with quite a number of new photographs being added and should be complete in its revision by the end of Summer 2015.

Victoria M. Young is a mother of two, a doctor of veterinary medicine, and a long-time advocate for public schools. She is a parent who spent 20 years of service in classrooms, on school committees, and in her community devoting a large part of her life to fighting for quality public education for ALL children. She has organized fundraisers and efforts to save our schools through policies and practices.

JOHN BARCELLONA is Professor of Flute and Director of Woodwind Studies at California State University Long Beach, teaches doctoral students at Claremont Graduate University and is flutist with the internationally acclaimed Westwood Wind Quintet (recordings on Columbia, Crystal and WIM labels). The Quintet has recently recorded the 24 complete wind quintets by Anton Reicha – a 12 CD set on Crystal. He recorded a CD of Chrisopher Caliendo’s trio music with the Caliendo Trio: Christopher Caliendo-guitar and Ian Flatt-cello.

            An active freelance musician in southern California, he has played Principal Flute with the Pacific Symphony and many international ballet companies. His solo album, Is this the way to Carnegie Hall? (with Calvin Smith – horn) was nominated to the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences for a Grammy award. John is a former member of the Moyse Duo with pianist, Louis Moyse. He has been a Muramatsu Performing Artist for over 25 years.

            He has written a regular column in Flute Talk magazine entitled, “The Flute Doctor”. This is the first time the magazine has run a complete flute pedagogy series of articles. John has taught and performed in many music festivals, including the Rio International Cello Encounter in Brazil and the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival for the past 28 years.

            John Barcellona received his Bachelor of Music from the Hartt School of Music, Master of Arts from California State University Long Beach, and Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Southern California.

GUEST: CHRISTOPHER CALIENDO

Hailed “A Wunderkind!” by LA Weekly, Christopher Caliendo is a world music composer and concert guitarist whose diverse music styles—featuring everything from Brazilian samba to Italian folk songs to American pop music to classical melodies—have been embraced worldwide, finding equal resonance with film studios, philharmonics, chamber societies, the Vatican, fellow artists, political figures and celebrities.

As a world music composer, Caliendo is considered a “best bet” by the Los Angeles Times, with more than 500 published works, many of which are standards in today’s repertoire. The complete catalog is now represented in 47 stores nationwide with additional presence in Belgium, Canada, England and South Korea. In recognition of this achievement, Caliendo has won numerous honors, including 10-time winner of the National Flute Association’s Newly Published Sheet Music Award.

Notable recent commissions for Caliendo’s work include Sherlock Holmes: Symphonic Suite, his fourth composition to be commissioned by the Pacific Chamber Symphony, which premiered March 2014 in California; Soccor, commissioned by the Dèdalo Ensemble, which will have its world premiere in October 2014 in Brescia, Italy; The Hobbit: Symphonic Suite, also commissioned by the Pacific Chamber Symphony, which will have its world premiere November 2014 in California; and Enders’s Game: Concert Band Suite, commissioned by the United States Air Force, a recording of which will release December 2014 to honor the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

As a composer for film and television, Caliendo’s accomplishments include the 20th Century Fox-commissioned soundtrack to John Ford’s 1924 silent film The Iron Horse. Called an “excellent orchestral score” by New York Times film critic Dave Kehr, the 136- minute original work was featured at 20th Century Fox’s 75th anniversary celebration in 2010, where selections were performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, along with music from Alfred Newman, David Raskin, Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams and Rodgers and Hammerstein. The soundtrack was also included in the Top 10 Film Scores of 2007 by Film Score Monthly magazine.

Also of note: Caliendo won the National Society of Film Critics 2007 Film Heritage Award for his work on The Iron Horse. He won the award again in 2008 for composing original scores for movies featured on 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment’s Murnau, Borzage and Fox DVD box set.

Caliendo was also commissioned by Sony Pictures to compose a new score for the 2005 re-release of Sam Peckinpah’s 1965 feature Major Dundee, which earned him the honor of being the first composer in film history to re-score a major motion picture. Film critic Leonard Maltin declared the score “A great victory!” while Grover Crisp of Sony Pictures said “[The score] is in the vein of Jerry Goldsmith or Elmer Bernstein or Alex North scores for similar pictures: Big where it needs to be, intimate where it needs to be, but really full-bodied and complex, fitting its subject perfectly.”

Caliendo has also written music for the documentary Life Is Love, which premiered at the Cinequest Film Festival in 2014, and for the TV series’ Dallas, Knot’s Landing and Paradise, for which he received an Emmy nomination in 1988.

Additional composing honors for Caliendo include the Artin Arslanian Music Scholarship for Composition; the Henry Mancini Music Scholarship; the Leonard Goldberg Music Scholarship for Composition; the Music Now Award; the Peabody Grant for Humanities; the Wilma Drama Scholarship for Outstanding Achievement in the Humanities; commissions by three state senators to premiere and perform new “chamber jazz” works at fund-raising events; and a decorative scroll from the City of Los Angeles commemorating Caliendo’s distinction as the first American to be twice-commissioned by Pope John Paul II for the Vatican’s “Encounters of Sacred Contemporary Music Festival” in Rome, Italy, where he debuted The Mystic Saints, a two-hour drama based on four of the Catholic church’s most enigmatic pioneers in Western spirituality.

As a concert guitarist, Keith Hannaleck of Gramophone magazine has described Caliendo as “one fantastic guitar player…simply masterful and as fluid as humanly possible…[one] of the best musicians in the world.” He has performed with many Hollywood luminaries, including Larry King, Linda Hamilton, Ron Perlman, The Manhattan Transfer and Walter Koenig, and was selected by Bob Hope to be the featured performer for his 90th birthday celebration. He is also a recording artist for major film studios on movie soundtracks and currently tours his world music with the Caliendo Trio. Caliendo is endorsed by Kevin Ryan guitars, performing on the model “The Mission Grand,” and has numerous CD recordings.

In addition to being a world music composer and concert guitarist, Caliendo is also a guest speaker, teacher, conductor, performer and master-class technician at major universities and other venues. His motivational seminar, “Composing Success,” based on his substantial knowledge of the music industry, targets both composers and performers who wish to establish self-reliance and accountability, knowing their creative actions are in alignment with their creative purpose.

Caliendo’s love of music began at an early age, playing guitar at age 9 and composing music at age 14. It is very easy to jump from one to the other right NOW, trying on frequencies, feeliing our way to our OWN resonance. But within another 3 months, the spokes will be a little farther apart, so a little more challenging to leap between. And so it will go. By around Sept. of 2016, they will be so far apart as "timeline traectories" that they will be VERY far apart. Soon after that, they will be SO far apart that none will be seen at all--except for the "reality" one has chosen-- through FREQUENCY resonance. My work began gaining recognition in 1981. There are now more than 25 scrapbooks containing my lifelong work and dedication to discovering the keys on how to lead a life worth living. In addition to research and writing, I’ve played a few characters on several well-known TV shows, and I know of ten different authors who have written about my life and my story, and its impact on the lives of others. Some of you may also remember me as the “Leggs girl” in the early 1980′s commercials.

ELIZABETH JOYCE grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey. At eight years old, Elizabeth’s psychic powers were revealed to her family when she announced that the elderly tenant upstairs had died.
