About Dr. Josh Mackey, PT, DPT

With a background in sports like table tennis, badminton, and spikeball, it was easy for Josh to fall in love with the sport of pickleball.

After quickly starting to play the sport and competing against other players, he learned that many were struggling with pain and injury. Many of them had tried physical therapy, chiropractor, personal training, and other treatments in the past. Despite this, most were not getting the results they wanted.

This is where Dr. Josh began to search and look for a better solution. With his knowledge of the sport of pickleball and expertise as a doctor of physical therapy, he was able to bridge the gap between the two. He wanted to deliver a one-of-a-kind service designed specifically for pickleball players struggling with pain and injury.

Over the past year, Dr.Josh has been able to help hundreds of pickleball players all over the world. His goal is to help pickleball players bulletproof their bodies from injury so they can continue to compete against friends and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, Marianne Williamson is a bestselling author, political activist and spiritual thought leader. 

For more than three decades Marianne has been a leader in spiritual and religiously progressive circles. In 2004, she co-founded The Peace Alliance and supports the creation of a U.S. Department of Peace. In addition, she advocates for a cabinet level Department of Children and Youth to adequately address the chronic trauma of millions of American children.

In 1989, she founded Project Angel Food, a meals-on-wheels program that serves homebound people with AIDS in the Los Angeles area. Today, Project Angel Food serves over 1,000 people daily. Marianne also founded the Department of Peace Campaign, a grass roots campaign to establish a United States Department of Peace.

Susan Y Jones is a visionary entrepreneur, community leader, and the founder of two groundbreaking publications - Impact Detroit Magazine and Impact Atlanta Fashion and Beauty Magazine. Her mission is to change the narrative about urban communities and inspire people to see the potential and beauty in cities like Detroit and Atlanta. Jones is passionate about the revitalization and growth of Detroit. Jones started Impact Detroit Magazine in 2010, intending to change the negative perception that many people have of Detroit. Instead, she wanted to showcase the positive aspects of the city, including its vibrant culture, rich history, and resilient people. The magazine covers various topics, including local businesses, events, entertainment, and community initiatives. Jones believes that by highlighting these positive stories, she can shift the narrative about Detroit and encourage more people to invest in the city's future.

In addition to running Impact Detroit Magazine, Jones is involved in various community organizations and initiatives. She leads by example and has many volunteer services to her credit. For instance, in support of The "Covenant House" in Detroit, Susan fundraised and slept outside in 18-degree weather to bring awareness to homeless children. The "Convent House" was featured on FOX 2 News. In 2014, during the Obama administration, Susan was one of 60 people around the country invited by the White House Business Council and Business Forward for a briefing at the White House to discuss strengthening the economic competitiveness of America's small businesses. She took this opportunity to advise senior White House and administration officials on how federal policy affects small businesses and home markets. "Careers Mastered" honored Susan and awarded her a Leadership in Action Award. Susan is in the Class of 2016; a class photo hangs in the Michigan State Capital.

Various organizations and publications have recognized Jones's work with Impact Detroit Magazine. In 2018, she was named one of the Detroit News' "Michiganians of the Year" for her efforts to promote positive news and stories in Detroit. In addition, she was featured and honored as a V.I.P. Jones grew up in Memphis, TN, and Moved to Detroit in 2005 when she remarried her ex-husband. The success of Impact Detroit Magazine inspired Jones to expand her vision to Atlanta. She gained a partner Terri Stephenson in 2020 to showcase the city's thriving fashion and beauty scene and to celebrate the diverse communities that make Atlanta such a unique and vibrant city.

Terri Joined the Detroit Franchise in 2015 as a Senior Writer and was later promoted to Managing Editor for the Atlanta Franchise in 2017. Most recently promoted to Editor-in Chief 2018. Terri brings over 30 years of Marketing, Sales, Finance, Collections, Training and Product development experience, specializing in enabling startup and established companies to increase revenue. A Highly accomplished professional with high business-savvy and excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to provide leadership to an organization with focus on Revenue, Product and Brand longevity.

Terri studied Business and Entertainment Law at California State University and a Graduate of American Intercontinental University (AIU) holding degrees in those areas. She is known as being a highly reliable self-starter with strong work ethics, goal orientated, customer focused, self-motivated and energetic. Excelling in helping others become successful and being their best self.

Chief Perez is the Fire Chief of Pasco County Florida, and a Pasco County citizen himself. Chief Perez began his firefighting career journey as a firefighter for Pasco County Fire Rescue over 26 years ago. He eventually transferred over to Tampa Fire Rescue, where he served in field operations, as well as Chief of Operations and Chief of Personnel. When the opportunity to return back home to the Pasco County family arose, Chief Perez jumped at the opportunity to serve his home community and was ultimately appointed by the Board of County Commissioners as Pasco County Fire Chief during the July 11, 2023 Board Meeting, with an official start of July 31, 2023.

In addition to his passion for fire and emergency response operations, he is also driven in servant leadership and motivating and inspiring others to reach their full potential and to continuously grow. He mentors, teaches, speaks at conferences, and regularly engages in community and charitable events alongside his wife and children. He has a strong faith and very family orientated values and his priority is always providing the best resources and support for the men and women on the front lines, while increasing their protection and quality of life to the fullest.

Lori and her husband Troy, a Marine veteran, raise and homeschool their daughter Belle in Dacono where they are members of the Rocky Mountain Christian Church.

Lori also volunteers for community charities and church ministries and served as coordinator and instructor for Constitutional Champions Kids Patriot Camp, a day camp teaching about the Constitution and American Patriotism.

Drafted in the first round, the younger Beede opted instead to attend college, playing for a perennial national powerhouse, Vanderbilt. Three years later, with an All-American season and a National Championship, Beede was drafted again in the first round. This time, seven picks higher than he'd been selected out of high school. All told, Walter has more than 35 years of experience as a mentor to other young men, a coach, a father, and a player himself.
