20 year old artist making independent music from ogden, utah. "garage demo sessions" is my first project & was made at home with various friends over the course of a couple months & was released at the end of december, 2020. 

Everything's already said about Grunge, right?
The guitars roar raw and unpolished in the tradition of the old heroes. A little bit of drop D, a bit of teenage angst, weltschmerz and a lot of anthemic, energetic rock. This sometimes reminds of the sound somewhere between
Pearl Jam or Alice in Chains, but without being just epigonic post-whatever. Emotional lyrics, dynamic songs full of blood, sweat and tears bring the grunge out of the 90s and carry it on to infinity and much further!

After fronting 3 bands & recording 8 albums; Jason Ochsner has returned with a natural approach to his songs. His new project, Hollow-Body-Experience, is a long awaited concept of selected acoustic versions of his catalog, as well as the introduction of his newborns.  Featuring foot-drum & harmonica accompaniment, Jason highlights his passion for guitar, music & songwriting.

Debut Album due for release - The End of the Beginning

Melon Season is mostly just my own personal recording project, based around Urbana and Chicago, IL. The project started around 2015, and it has been loosely ongoing ever since. The DIY and lofi ideals/recording methods of the Velvet Underground, Daniel Johnston, CAN, and Duster are very inspirational. The music of early Modest Mouse, Built to Spill, Pavement – and even music from the Zelda series – are very influential on the style. I am constantly writing, so I record all the songs on my own in order to make room in my head for the next ones; before I forget anything specific, really.
