Hello, my name is Joey L. Dowdy aka Dr Dancer, CEO of Get Up & Groove Entertainment LLC. I would love to be on your show and or interviewed because I have a unique story that I’ve been dying, no, actually “living to tell.” It’s a stimulating, yet painful, and rather mysterious quest about overcoming adversity. You see, I’ve been working in the entertainment business for twenty plus years. I started my show biz career at six years old as a performer, then later as a choreographer, instructor, author, producer, master teacher for stage, television, online courses, and on various social media platforms. I teach people how to get unstuck and out of the rut of living mundane lives through the art and joy of movement and dance, fun fitness routines, and winning motivational practices. Using my techniques and methods allows them to be set free, and experience what it feels like to live their best life on the groove!"

My Story

Little did I know that I’d be put to the test and have to practice what I preach. It all started in 2016 when I endured a string of life-threatening incidents. Such as, hip replacement surgery June 7th followed by two freeway car accidents on July 29TH & Aug 6th while being transported from my physical therapy appointments. If that wasn’t enough, fast forward to November 2016. When I felt an annoying pain in my upper back, like it needed to be cracked. Yet, it wouldn’t crack, and the pain never subsided. I knew something was wrong, so I went to the emergency room. Shortly after, a nurse checked my stats and then stared at me like she was seeing a ghost. Just then I hear footsteps running down the hallway like a stampede. But it wasn’t cattle, it was people, or a slew of interns. Then one of the girls from the crowd looked directly at me and shouted, “You don’t look like you’re having a heart attack.” Then I was immediately rushed to have coronary surgery the same day, Thursday, and remained in the hospital that Thanksgiving weekend. 

Since then, in July & Sep of 2023 I had two bone marrow surgeries and was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis, a rare bone cancer blood disease.

Here’s the thing: Despite facing multiple health challenges I’m committed to living my best life on the groove. I’m a strong believer in faith and, "I thank God for his grace and mercy that I'm still here,"

Sally Hunter, the author of Transfigured Sea advocates for environmental protection. Sally, an Australian woman who has dedicated her entire career to environmental policy and marine biology, issues a challenge to each of us.

Transfigured Sea is a work of literary fiction, written in prose with a few poems included. Minimal use of dialogue facilitates its dream-like atmosphere.

“This book is about two women who journey to explore every ecosystem of the ocean, while also exploring their own inner natures,” says Hunter. “They are accompanied by a magical conch shell. Nereids who are water nymphs and many sea creatures. They have no idea of the profound transformation which will come to them.”

Sally Ann Hunter is a biologist and environmental policy officer. She also is a published writer.

Hunter has published a book, Transfigured Sea, as well as a collection of poetry called The Structure of Light, and a biography called You Can't Keep a Good Man Down: From Parkinson's to a new life with Deep Brain Stimulation.

A paper she wrote on the biography was read on ABC Radio's Ockham's Razor, as was a paper on living with solar power. A number of her poems have been published in anthologies and online.

As a biologist, she worked for the CSIRO and the Waite Campus-of the University of Adelaide. As an Environmental Policy Officer, she worked at the Department for Water Resources and Conservation SA. She also did considerable voluntary work for the environment. Previously, Hunter worked for the Commonwealth Employment Service at several locations and the Hahndorf Nursing Home.

Hunter obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology at Flinders University and as a biologist she worked for the CSIRO and the Waite campus of the University of Adelaide.

She also obtained a Masters of Environmental Studies through the University of Adelaide and as an environmental policy officer worked at the Department for Water Resources and Conservation SA.

Hunter was involved in Poetry Studio at Writers SA and the festival of nature writing in Port Adelaide 2022. In 2017, she was a participant in Manuscript Incubator, a 10-month course in writing a novel. She founded the Mt Barker Tree Planting Group in the early 1980s and was president of the Mount Lofty Ranges Association and later the President of Southern Districts Environment Group and recently participated in the “our patch” Bushcare group in Blackwood and received a gold medal as part of the Australia Day honors.

The book A Purpose Driven God. For mankind there are two options, either life has purpose or is utterly purposeless with no meaning. For the secular materialist, we are all made of star dust and here by chance and chance alone. When we die we will turn back into the star dust from whence we came, with no afterlife and no accountability. For the theist, life is indeed purposeful and the universe is exquisitely fine tuned and it seems specially so for the exitance of mankind. In my book, A Purpose Driven God, I explore relativity, quantum mechanics, the biologic world, the human body and mathematics to determine the evidence for the best explanation of life. Thus we attempt to answer the most perplexing questions. Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going and why there is something and not nothing? The evidence points to a supreme intelligence behind the universe who created the universe with mankind in mind.

Dr. Bo Kirkwood is a retired family physician who now lives in Navasota, TX where he and his wife raise registered quarter horses. He is owner of RMJ Evaluations and continues to do Impairment Ratings for the state of Texas as a Designated Doctor.  He was raised in Pasadena, TX, received a bachelor of science degree in phycology from the University of Houston, a masters degree in behavioral science from the University of Houston Clear Lake and a medical degree from the North Texas University Health Science Center in Fort Worth. After completing his internship in Garden City, MI he returned to his home town of Pasadena, TX and practiced family medicine for 36 years. He has been teaching and lecturing on Intelligent Design and Christian apologetics for many years with many of his classes available on YouTube. His previous books are Unveiling the Da Vinci Code, Christian Ethics and Medical Science and the Evolution Delusion. He has also written articles for Truth Magazine as well as other periodicals. 

I'm a long-time researcher of the out-of-body experience and contactee, an accomplished student of A Course in Miracles, and a budding physicist and astronomer. I've helped people to their first out-of-body experience, to a better clarity on and practice of A Course in Miracles, and to better understanding of math, astronomy, and physics. My name is Darryl E Berry Jr, founder of Next Density Center. I have a long-time interest in the out-of-body experience, and I orchestrate practical courses and research studies on the topic. My first book, Travel Far, contains several of my out-of-body experience journals (including extraterrestrial encounters). Moreover, it is a comprehensive “how-to” on OBE (also called astral travel). Furthermore, I’ve been a student of A Course in Miracles for about twenty years. I’ve graduated Palo Alto College with two summa cum laude Associate degrees.
