An independent scholar, speaker, radio show host, published author, and and social justice activist, Karen's body of work blends her experiences of women-centered multiculturalism evident in archaeology, anthropology and mythology with her unique academic and literary talents and travel experience throughout the world. Her first book, Sacred Places of Goddess: 108 Destinations has garnered prestigious endorsements, while her second book, Walking an Ancient Path, Rebirthing Goddess on Planet Earth, was a finalist in the National Best Books of 2008 Awards. Tate's work has been highlighted in the Los Angeles Times, Seattle Times and other major newspapers. Her new book, Goddess Calling, Inspirational Messages and Meditations of Sacred Feminine LIberation Thealogy is due out in early 2014. She is interviewed regularly in print, on television and on national public radio and hosts her own radio show, Voices of the Sacred Feminine considered a treasure trove of insight and wisdom for our time. Her work has segued into writing, producing and consulting on projects which bring the ideals and awareness of the Sacred Feminine into the mainstream world through television and film. Karen spends much of her time giving interviews, teaching, and lecturing at private and public educational and spiritual institutions, temples and churches; such as Joseph Campbell Roundtables, The Gaia Festival, Loyola Marymont College and the American Academy of Religion.  She guest ministers at Unitarian Universalist Churches, The Goddess Center of So. California and Sacred Sundays. She has received acclaim for reviving the Cakes for the Queen of Heaven curriculum as well as the Rise UP and Call Her Name course.

Her published articles have appeared in both domestic and international publications since 1995. She is on the Editorial Board of the journal, Goddess Theology and a founding Board of Directors member of the Institute for Theology and Deasophy. She is currently a contributing writer to Sacred History Magazine, Mystic Pop, Circle News, the Beltane Papers, and other domestic and international print and online magazines. Karen is a contributing writer to the follwoing books: Heart of a Woman in Business, Waters of Life, Goddess Guide to Business Bliss and Jesus Through Pagan Eyes.



An independent scholar of the Sacred Feminine for over twenty-five years, an ordained minister, and graduate of The Women's Theological Institute, specializing in Goddess and Women's Spirituality, Karen's particular emphasis is on the roles of women and the study of comparative religions and ancient cultures in a modern or reconstructed context. For her significant contributions in bringing the Sacred Feminine to both academia and the lived experiences of women and men through active ministry, sacred tours, books and radio, Ocean Seminary College proudly conferred upon Rev. Karen Tate a Doctorate of Ministry in Thealogy. It is no surprise then that she is the Founder of the educational, art, and cultural organization, The Isis Ancient Cultures Society, which organized public events around the Los Angeles area for more than ten years. She is also a Founder of Sacred Sundays and Wisdom Circles.



As the Los Angeles Women’s and Goddess Spirituality columnist for The Examiner she regularly covers events in Southern California related to spirituality, women's issues, political activism and arts and culture. As a spiritual tour leader, sacred journeys she has led and organized have itineraries that circle the globe and she continues bringing the like-minded to sacred sites to experience the joy of purposeful travel.  



With this deep well of experience and rich tapestry of scholarship fueling her passions, Karen has segued to the next level in her career as a writer/producer/creative consultant on projects introducing ideals and awareness of the Sacred Feminine to the mainstream world. Recognizing the importance of the vital and vibrant vehicle that is television and film, Karen uses this new canvas to responsibly influence contemporary thought geared toward life-affirming mythology that encourages discussion and raises awareness, the goal of mythologists of the new millennium.

Rock stars come from Los Angeles and country stars come from Nashville.  This is the unwritten rule that will be buried with the music business.  However, playing by the rules is never any fun, so why not start playing country music in good ol’ Southern California.  This was the thought Chase Miller had before he began his career as a country artist.

Producing music that everyone can relate to is amongst the biggest goals and achievements of his career.  In Chase’s words;

“I pride my self as a songwriter, being an artist who gets to perform for people is just a perk.”

This is a statement that is backed by years of studio work and multiple publishing deals. 

An accomplished body boarder, and photographer, Chase was influenced by many genres of music while growing up. You never knew what he would be listening to, artists from Def Leppard, Blink 182, Michael Jackson and The Oakridge Boys but he always felt most at home with the pop/rock genre.  Finding country music while still in high school, Chase felt an instant connection to the sounds and the stories of the music of such greats as Charlie Daniels, Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith. 

Chase’s music is based on the purity of the simplified pop guitar riff and having fun while making music.  These sounds and themes will stand out to you throughout his songs.  By doing this, Chase strives to bring people together through country music that is not confined to hold true to what could be considered that “traditional” country sound.  Chase believes that there are boundaries that need to be broken down within country music, so that new generations of fans can explore it with him.  Chase’s music invites fans to explore and play the field with him as he takes them along on his musical journey.

Chase has found that he can tell his stories through country music in a way that has his creative juices flowing like never before.  He is a prolific songwriter, and a talented guitar player, who has embraced this career with both hands and won’t let go!   Chase is constantly investing in self-development and looking for new and creative ways to develop his music and songs.  As some may know, Chase managed to make many of his own connections without the help of a management or PR agency.  He is a business-oriented musician who understands that dreams don’t happen without hard work, dedication, and most importantly optimism.

That’s right…optimism.  As Chase believes;

“You have to remain optimistic, even in the darkest of times.  That is the most important part.  If you don’t believe in you, then who will?”

Chase has achieved multiple accomplishments outside of his country music career.  He has multiple certifications in music and a Bachelors Degree in Music Business.  Chase’s original intent was to write and record short cues for use in television and film, but quickly realized his heart was in writing, playing and singing country songs with a strong sense of storytelling..  However, treating his music as a business has allowed him the success he has today.

Chase has followed his gut instinct and jumped into the country music scene with both feet!  With airplay on countless FM stations around the US, and interviews and reviews published in dozens of publications, Chase has only just begun to make his foot print in country music.

MEGAN NEALE

Megan Neale is a California based singer/songwriter who just recently teamed with fellow musicians Karim Elghobashi and Lamar Little to form what is now the band Megan Neale, for lack of a better name. Playing for just a year, they have managed to fill dance floors at some of the hottest night clubs in Hollywood (House of Blues, Viper Room, Megan’s Mom’s very own living room), and they haven’t even recorded an album yet. But have no fear – that is their next step.
