Ted Harvey is a former state legislator from Colorado. In 2001, Harvey was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives as a Republican, representing the 43rd House District. Elected in 2006 to the Colorado Senate, he represented Senate District 30, which encompasses Northern Douglas County—Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker, and Roxborough Park. He was also one of Colorado's delegates to the 2020 Republican National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Retired Colorado State Senator Ted Harvey has always had a passion for protecting the Constitution and the unborn, while promoting the free-market principle which have resulted in America’s unmatched exceptionalism. At the age of 22, Ted received a political appointment to serve in the White House of President Ronald Reagan, which ignited his passion for traditional conservatism.

After returning home, Ted quickly became involved in Colorado politics, working as a staffer in the Colorado State House and then as the Program Director of the Independence Institute, a Denver-based think tank. Ted also served as the District Office Manager for Representative Joel Hefley (R-CO).

In December 2001, through a vacancy election, Ted was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives and became a conservative champion inside the State House. He was re-elected in both 2002 and 2004, and then elected to the Colorado State Senate in 2006 and 2010.

Michael Sadler co-founded SAGA with Jim Crichton in Toronto, Canada circa 1977. As primary singer and songwriter, his voice remains a key part of their signature sound. Our guest is Mike Russell from Shreveport, Louisiana and got his undergraduate in finance at UOFA and his MBA from UCLA. He comes from a family of republicans but views himself as more of a libertarian. He has never been involved in politics but has recently wanted to get involved. He hopes to run for office some day on a platform of balancing budgets and reducing government bloating. He has found it incredibly hard to go into the political world as an outsider with no family in politics as well as never having gotten involved in a party during college.

Crista Ray is the Young Adult Engagement Coordinator at Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region, where she oversees and manages the AmeriCorps program at the organization. Crista’s career with Habitat Charlotte and passion for AmeriCorps began when she served two terms with Habitat AmeriCorps as a Resource Development VISTA member and Construction Crew Leader. Crista’s previous positions also include roles with Habitat Charlotte’s Family Services team and with the local branch of the American Red Cross. Crista is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.
