Join us for a deep dive discussion with award-winning filmmaker Conrad Weaver about PTSD 911, a documentary film that follows the lives of first responders, who are suffering from line of duty PTSD. It was created to raise awareness of the psychological issues faced by America's first responders and to help remove the stigma that prevents many of them from seeking professional treatment.

GOALS FOR THE FILM:

1. Raise Awareness – Most civilians don’t know or understand the issue of post traumatic stress in first responders. The goal is to educate the viewer and stimulate change in people’s behavior and attitudes toward our nation’s first responders.

2. End the Stigma – To help first responders realize it’s okay to ask for help. The case studies featured in the film will depict individuals and agencies who are helping their members realize it is ok to raise one’s hand and ask for help.

3. Inspire Systemic Change – No one should get fired just because they are struggling with the traumas they have faced, and have asked for help. The filmmakers want agency leaders to learn how they can implement healthy changes and training within their departments so their members get the mental health help they need and can continue to be productive in their public service to our communities.

Premieres Wed, November 2, 7pm ET — ⫸ Watch replays anytime thereafter

Donna Seebo lives in the shadow of Mt. Rainier, in Washington State. Her quiet South Sound retreat is a welcome and refreshing contrast to her busy professional schedule. As an author, publisher, lecturer and renown mental practitioner and counselor, Donna travels extensively each year. Her speaking engagements, radio/television appearances and counseling to businesses and private individuals takes her all over the United States. Donna's extraordinary mind skills have placed her into a life-style that reflects the wonderful opportunities that await anyone that is willing to believe in a positive self image.

Donna long ago learned to accept the world of the paranormal as commonplace for her. She was ordained as a minister in California. Then moving to the Pacific Northwest, she began to use her mind skills through many radio and television programs. Her impact was so powerful on her radio audience that record numbers of callers would consistently jam the telephone lines. Her non-sensational approach continues to set new records in radio listener response. Donna has hosted her own national radio show and continues as a popular repeat guest on numerous radio and television shows all over the United States and Internationally.

Using her personal experiences, Donna has created a program to teach individuals to develop their own mind powers to enhance their daily lives and personal relationships. Donna teaches her "Mind Magic" system by speaking at various business meetings and seminars. her program involves a lively display of her own mind skills and then begins to explain, in easy to understand terms, how anyone can develop their own mind's abilities. Donna's current lecture program is "You are the Magic."

Recently, Donna added another dimension to her business and creative skills; she is now the author and publisher of a successful children's book series. Believing that constant development and change is not only important but exciting, she has begun this new adventure with an award winning first book called, "God's Kiss." The book is a heart warming story of a young boy and his adventure through a world of talking animals, magnificent mountains and valleys to a place where young people gather on Christmas Eve to seek the special kiss of life. The book is filled with exquisite illustrations by the renowned artist, Ed Gedrose. In addition to the book there is a companion audio cassette with Donna's own voice beautifully interpreting the story. The book and cassette tape are so well done that the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive and she is now working on publishing her second book called "The Magic Hat."

Donna Seebo has taken all of her own natural talents and worked to develop them into a successful life. She combines her talents; writing, publishing, counseling and speaking together with her sparkling personality and exceptional voice skills into a demonstration of excellence. Donna is an exciting individual to meet and hear speak. She's a woman who is accomplished and poised and yet reflects a warm and dynamic spirit around her.

The Bev Moore Show Guest, Alice Chun March 10, 2023
Author, TedX speaker, female inventor of Solight-Design and SEEU95

As a little girl growing up in Seoul, Korea and then upstate New York, Alice spent many days learning how a simple fold can become structured. Origami forms were taught to her by her mother, who also taught Alice how to sew her own clothes. Always creative, fascinated by design, structure and forms, Alice studied architecture at Penn State where she obtained her undergraduate degree and went on to earn her Masters in Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.

With emerging trends in material technology resulting in smarter, lighter, faster, sustainable fabrication, Alice started to sew solar panels to fabric as early experiments for harnessing solar energy with softer, malleable material. She became focused on solar technology and finding ways to create clean energy solutions upon learning her son Quinn was diagnosed with asthma.

While teaching as a Professor in Architecture and Material Technology at Columbia University, Alice created early prototypes of solar lights with her students. Still not satisfied, and fueled by her passion for helping the underserved, Alice invented the world’s only self-inflatable, portable solar light, eliminating the need for a mouth nozzle. This ensured a healthy, sanitary method to inflate. Alice named this invention the SolarPuff™ and conducted three years of field testing in Haiti. In 2015 she launched Solight Design and initiated a KickStarter program with unprecedented results. She went on to win numerous awards including the US Patent Award for Humanity and her products have been exhibited at MOMA, the Modern Museum of Art in New York City.

Alice is an authorTedX speaker, and female inventor of Solight-Design and SEEU95.

She has been featured in Marie Claire’s Powertrip 2022The SkimmThe Story ExchangeFast CompanyThe New York TimesCheddarHuffington PostHeavyMen’s Journal, and was nominated for USPTO Patents for Humanitarian Winner in 2018. Alice was nominated as Forbes 50 Over 50 recognizable women of 2022. Alice was also recently featured in the new Apple TV+ show ‘Gutsy’,alongside other female rock stars such as Jane Goodan, Wanda Sykes, Meg Thee Stallion, Kim Kardashian, and others.

The Sports Doctor Guest, Ian Goldberg March 08, 2023
Founder/CEO of iSport360, the app keeping youth sports teams connected, active and strong through the pandemic

I am a New Jersey sports dad, youth coach and Founder of iSport360. There are 30MM sports parents in our country who are frustrated by the lack of player feedback from their kids’ coaches…which is especially upsetting when many are spending thousands of dollars a year on sports. I also know first hand that coaches don’t have the time or tools to let every parent know how their child is doing. So the problem is a huge expectation gap between parents and coaches that leads to hyper-stressed parents on the sidelines and arguments over who made the travel team, who gets the starting position and who gets more playing time.

To solve this problem, we recently launched our data-driven mobile app that allows coaches and parents to share goals, objective feedback and data throughout the season and especially at the dreaded tryout time. To do this, we worked with experts in each sport and the guidelines provided by national governing bodies to define skills in a sport-, age- and gender-specific way…..for the FIRST TIME EVER. Now our app, and our proprietary database of well-defined sports skills is helping teams share coach feedback, improve player development and increase parent engagement. So please give the app a try at www.iSport360.com and sign up for our informative, and frequently funny, sports-parenting newsletter "The Chaotic World of Youth Sports".
