Your home is not a place - it´s you! Take care of your home and you take care of yourself.

Sweden

I want to talk about the importancy of understanding that your home is an extention of yourselfe. A cluttered home creates messy thoughts and in order to create a better life you need to create order. Order is the first law of the Universe. I also want to talk about that you can create the life you want, you just have to find out WHAT  you want first. I´m a feng shui expert, running the Nordic School of Feng Shui in Sweden. I have been teaching feng shui for almost 14 years. I´m also working with people who are in need of guidance about their home, current or the one they are planning to build. I design houses according to feng shui to give the client the best conditions for a great life. As an apprentice of well known Bob Proctor (Canada)I can also coach my clients how to increase their wealth, health, business - well, anything.

I´m sorry that I don´t have a small pic of myself. If you are interested I can get you one Im sure.

For many, the idea of changing their daily habits to lose weight or reverse or prevent illness can be intimidating. Many simply don't know where to start to create a healthier lifestyle.

My new book, Your Holistically Hot Transformation: Embrace a Healthier Lifestyle Free of Dieting, Confusion and Self-Judgment, focuses on small, simple changes women can make that build on each other to create big results such as weight loss, increased energy, more confidence and glowing skin.

The tips outlined in the book are designed to be approachable and available to anyone, removing the barrier to entry on a holistically healthy lifestyle, one that combines elements of mind, body and spirit.

You'll find recommendations like:

·      How to upgrade your favorite takeout meals with better-for-you ingredients without sacrificing flavor. For example, my Healthy Pad Thai recipe is veggie-heavy, substitutes fiber-rich spaghetti squash in place of noodles and skips the sugar-laden sauce most restaurants use.

Forget willpower, give your plate a makeover instead. Piling your plate with more vegetables , especially leafy greens, the #1 food missing in most American diets, will boost energy, "crowd out" the less nutritious foods and help manage cravings.  Experiment gently with everyday superfoods If plant foods are the cake — the staples around which you build your meals — superfoods are the icing. Spread and sprinkle them around to enhance your food. Acai offers healthy fats, Goji berries fight colds and Spirulina, a blue-green algae, us a powerful energy booster. Focus on "carbs that count" Fixating on a low-carb diet will leave you zapped of energy. Get the benefit of sustained energy and filling fiber with low-glycemic carbohydrates like quinoa, sweet potatoes and squash.

Please let me know if you’d like to speak with me further about the book or the tips outlined here.

Anne K Uemura PhD

Early childhood wounding leads to adult pain and takes away internal joy and happiness. Using unique strategies to access buried child-hearts, Anne offers a personal development program that improves on current inner-child techniques to awaken your child-like spirit and access self-love.

Too many adults suffer in being triggered by others and events feeling too often upset, angry, defeated, shamed, and fearful.  Their unhealed wounds also expose them to their early beliefs about not being good enough (low self-esteem) or not safe enough (often anxious), not deserving (not successful enough), or not having control (withdrawing). Within their limited resources young child-selves adopt limiting strategies to keep themselves safe, in control and proving their self-worth.  Examples of these are:  perfectionism, manipulating and controlling others, becoming tireless givers or overachievers.

Now is the perfect time on the planet to move in the direction of joy, peace, love, fulfillment and true self-expression.

Anne Uemura, PhD, has many traditional achievements in her background. After receiving her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Philosophy, she taught at the college level for ten years. Her Socratic style led her to question the direction of her own life, which led to a PhD in Clinical Psychology at University of Maine. A predoctoral fellowship at UC-San Francisco followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at UC-Berkeley situated her permanently in California.

After thirteen years as a counseling psychologist for troubled, promising students in workshops, group, and individual counseling at UC-Berkeley, Anne retired to a small private practice in Napa, California. The leisure of this period of midlife afforded her the opportunity to explore nontraditional studies and training. Anne sees her life as a testimony to the riches of achievement through traditional means. But more important, she is eager to tell you about how much more there is when you move to the out-of-the-box principles and concepts that eventually led her to write her groundbreaking book, Listen to the Cries of Your Heart.

What I know for sure? That love and laughter might not cure what ails you but they sure will go a long way to helping you get through those tough life moments. That a deep belly laugh will almost always make you feel better. That sharing laughter connects us and that to love and be loved is all that really matters.

Therapeutic humor is any intervention that promotes health and wellness by stimulating a playful discovery, expression or appreciation of the absurdity or incongruity of life’s situations. Both the production and appreciation of humor can be a powerful method of gaining perspective and temporary emotional reprieve during difficult life experiences. Learn how to get your laugh on and use humor to boost resilience, strengthen relationships and reconnect with what matters. The applications of humor as means of healing, connecting and communicating are endless.  Like kindness, humor is magic.

Take a journey to the center of your heart where you will see, appreciate and understand that you have always loved -- and still do love -- your self, perhaps more than you imagine.  In recognizing this, you will not only treat your self with the love and appreciation you deserve, you will accept no less from anyone else and offer no less to others. When consciously conneted with this love, peace rather than hurt, anger, anxiety or depression will be maintained.  Experience the joy of living in full acceptance of what is, and empowered to create a better life for yourself and your world.

I have a unique and motivating story to share with your group that will both inspire and give tools and keys for success.  Based on my book, “Launching Your Dream”, I would share my story of taking an idea from the idea to a living reality.

The idea and the living reality was a cross country bicycle tour.

As a business owner I have taken the lessons I learned and done it again: moved from idea to reality.

In my presentation I would share these key lessons:

Clear Vision: in order to live your dream, you need a clear and compelling vision. Realizing a dream is living intentionally.  When you live intentionally and working on creating your vision and dream, drugs and alcohol become a distraction and interfere with the success you are working to create. Sharing the Vision:  helps you to manifest it.  New resources appear that you didn’t know were available, new people appear.  And those you tell, start holding you accountable. Goal Setting: Dreams require action, creating a plan of action helps you to stay on track. Values: guide your dream, your vision.  They guide your decision making.  Staying the course: Many of us have ideas, yet we get thrown off course.  I will share some keys ways to stay on course.

Throughout the presentation I weave the story of the cycling trip – the rewards, the challenges and some of the profound lessons you learn about yourself.
