To Whom it May Concern,

First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to read my pitch! I'm excited about this opportunity to speak on the radio. I've been encouraged multiple times to start my own YouTube channel or Podcast series on psychic phenomena and the mind. I've been told I have an awesome radio voice and great personality, which would lend themselves easily to success in the broadcasting world.

On that note, I have been able to astral travel and go out of body since I was a child. I have a deep interest in psychic phenomena, astrology, numerology, and magickal arts; all of which I've studied for many years. After a near death experience in 2010, my psychic ability, intuition, and ability to access other dimensions have increased tremendously. I'm an active practitioner of magick, and I've participated in several exorcisms.

I have many theories about the psychological aspects of paranormal subjects, as related to consciousness itself. I feel that people often project their conscious focus outwardly on particular places, people, symbols, and ideas, which combined with their own belief systems, either religious or otherwise, create entities, such as spirits, angels, and demons, to manifest in visual reality. Also, along these same lines, people are able to manifest positive occurrences in their life, such as new careers, significant others, wealth, and happiness. People also manifest negative events through fears, anger, and sorrow, which they hold in their consciousness in much the same way.

I propose a discussion on the nature of consciousness, psychic phenomena, and spirituality based on our universe being "Mental" or based on "Mind." I personally feel that what we call God, is Divine Intelligent Consciousness, that literally runs through all life, and can be clearly proven by the Collective Consciousness of humanity, as well as all of the afore mentioned.

Thanks again for reading my pitch, and I look forward to hearing back with good news soon (wink, wink)!

Sincerely,
Mary GrayCrane

My birthday is May 20, 1985. I was born and raised in Nashville, TN. My parents divorced when I was 4 years old, and I was primarily raised by my mother. I have an older brother, Geoffrey, born in 1977, and an older sister, Dorothy or "Dory", born in 1979.

I grew up riding horses, beginning at age 6. From horses, I gained an understanding of subtle energies, learned firsthand the intelligence of nature, and also accessed my ability to communicate with animals (I know everyone is able to do this, but most people are unknowing, and their ability lies dormant). In addition to horseback riding, I played many sports. I also won several poetry awards in middle school and essay contests in high school.

My interest in magick, astrology, numerology, and general metaphysics really came to the forefront when I was 12 years old. After seeing ghosts, developing my ability to astral project and leave my body, and also experiencing some strange phenomena that I still don't fully understand, really sparked my interest to read about and explore these things further. Although my study began at age 12, my first outer body experience was around age 6 or 7, which I still recall in full detail.

I attended college on scholarship at Lake Erie College in Painesville, OH. Here I was working towards a bachelor's degree in Equine Science. After two years, I moved back to Nashville, and attended Aquinas College, where I finished with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

I worked for my father for a little over a year at his printing firm. I had a near death experience during this time, in December 2010, which changed my perspective of how I see everything. I began feeling the need to do something different with my life, and California was beckoning me.

In 2011, I moved to Southern California and after a few odd jobs, I started working as the manager of the buying department at a metaphysical store. My other job responsibilities included event planning, some marketing, and I was the webmaster for their website. Working at this store was an amazing experience for me. I acquired so much information about metaphysics, crystals, energy healing, psychic ability, and spiritual truths found in all religions during the years I worked here.

Currently, I am an accountant and general manager of a small company. I create art in my free time and continue my study of the subconscious, metaphysics, and all of the "unseen." I also have a personal practice of spirituality, which is of enormous importance to me.

My novella, "The Last Best Thing," has created a lot of media buzz since its publication last spring. I like to think that's because of the beautiful prose, the finely crafted story, the humor or the compelling theme: How far would you go to help a friend?

But the book’s popularity is just as likely due to the subject matter. Set in rural Iowa, the story centers upon an aging group of life-long friends confronting end-of-life decisions, including assisted suicide. “The Last Best Thing” humanizes and personalizes the right-to-die debate, Alzheimer’s, institutionalization, poverty and the myriad other issues facing America’s elderly today.

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kate earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Iowa and her master’s at Iowa State University. She is the recipient of several grants and awards for her writing. Kate has also renovated every place she’s lived, including the historical Madison County jailhouse in Winterset, Iowa. At work on a new novel and a short-story collection, she resides at her current rehab project on the Des Moines River, along with her three dogs and three cats.

A conceptual hinderance for the metaphysically inclined is the notion that the world is made of building blocks – the fundamental particles of the universe. However, it is difficult to reconcile concepts such as ESP and mediumship if the universe is made of ‘dumb’ building blocks.

A more useful concept is that of the ‘Holographic Universe’ where the subject (you) is creating the universe as you observe and experience it. This presentation will explore the origins of our belief in the building block model and offer an explanation, based in physics, that the holographic model is closer to reality and offers a platform to discuss the interaction of the physical and the metaphysical worlds.

This is a fun and informative presentation that opens a door on our experience of the nature of reality.

I grew up in Germany and remember that as a five year old I encountered Hypocrisy all around me....I became a lonely child...more interested in Nature and Books than in people. I always observed....and learned. I had two NDE's and studied many Ancient Texts. I also followed in the footsteps of Carl Jung, Terrence McKenna, Dr. Alexander Shulgin and many more, read 1000's of books and learned in the end...what I really am...now it is time to share what I know about Life with others. I was born into this Body on 9/9/56 and am as young as can be...Loving Life. I dumped Facebook, rarely go on Twitter and all others I visit occasionally. I am just on G+ and have gotten almost 2 Million Views in one year...with only 150 people as friends! So, what I share has great impact so far...time to really reach out.

Consciousness, Creation, And Existence: A Guide
Jenny Lynn

We need to wake up fast! We need to live consciously and locally. There's never been a more important time to do your personal work and lift the veil on what is going on in the world. I'm a keen advocate for those of us who are in positions of leadership, to be leading consciously by being the change we wish to see. All of us need to move from the head to the heart and rebuild meaningful communities and recreate wholeness and health without reference to the power snatchers who pose as helpers. What does it mean to live consciously? Why is radical self leadership more important now than ever before?

Jenny is a Transpersonal Therapist, Trainer, Author, Speaker, and Mentor embracing the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of health and wellbeing. She also teaches Blues Dancing. She helps transform lives, removing blocks and encouraging people to create meaningful focus by living in the here and now. She works in practice from her home in Essex and from Liverpool Street, London. Her style is insightful, intuitive, authentic and challenging. She sees into the heart of the matter fast highlighting our common humanity. She has guest lectured at home and abroad on subjects as diverse as Buddhism and psychotherapy, The tantra of blues dancing, unlocking the mysteries of chronic fatigue syndrome, integrating counseling skills into your hypnotherapy practice, how to raise self esteem in disadvantaged parents, Isolation and Stigma in the mental Health Service, the psycho-spiritual causes of disease, and the psycho-spiritual aspects of family healing among others.

Jenny has also authored a number of books, including unlocking the mysteries of chronic fatigue syndrome: training manual for therapists which is available on her site.  Jenny now runs TheOpenMindTherapist.com which is a forum that meets in London and Essex where she mentors practicing therapists and hypnotherapists to develop their authenticity and mindfulness in their practice, becoming the change they wish to see in their clients, overcoming performance anxiety and leading the way in personal awareness and personal development. She is an authority in her field of integrative psychotherapy and hypnotherapy and a Fellow of the National Council of Psychotherapists. She has also been a practising Buddhist for more than 30 years.

This is a little bit of personal history. Not necessary in the bio but rambled on a bit on your page. Thought I'd include it.

I have a degree in German and Spanish, a post graduate in teaching and basic, advanced and higher diploma in integrative (transpersonal) therapy.  At 23 I was schizophrenic. The prognosis was poor. But I recovered. I trained as a teacher of Spanish and German at age 30. Had my daughter age 32. Divorced and retrained as a psychotherapist/hypnotherapist. I have also practiced Buddhism since the age of 19.

My life has been about revolution....my own deep inner revolution. At the age of 52 I now embrace and look forward to challenge and growth. I am used to it. I recently discovered a part of my life that had disappeared almost entirely were it not for a meeting with someone I knew when I was schizophrenic. He told me stories about me that I knew were true, but that I couldn't remember.....until I started feeling them in my body. My body knew what my head had forgotten. I re-met my 23 year old and welcomed her home.

The last couple of years, since my daughter has grown up, I have traveled with my work, speaking, leading workshops, and treating people all over the world. I have interviewed quirky and interesting people from all over the world, some academic, some intuitive, some spiritual, but all of them without exception, with that something special that makes you want to listen to them. But what I am doing is not enough. I need to do more. There is a book half written that needs to be completed about my recovery from schizophrenia and the lost memories I discovered.

After a lifetime of dance, I also recently started teaching blues dancing. This is a fantastic way of doing personal work 'by the back door'. It will reach far more people in 'normal' every day life than the personal development work I do with those who self select. People that dance think that's all they are doing. But using the body to express music takes us right back to our most ancient tribal roots and that was never more true than with blues dancing, which hails from the black African-american sugar plantation workers.

I need to keep moving. Keep growing. I write this as I sit at the computer as fluidly as it has come. I don't really know who you are or what you stand for though I read your little bios a bit. I just read your email from linked in and hopped over to this page. But THERE was an invitation for me to share my thoughts so I hopped in. Thanks for asking.
