In today’s crowded marketplace, many businesses believe they can succeed without investing in branding. As a brand strategist with over 20 years of experience working with Fortune 100 companies like Coca-Cola, The Walt Disney Company, ConAgra Brands, and Activision, as well as emerging growth startups, I’ve seen first-hand how this misconception can hinder long-term success. While it’s true that some companies experience initial success without a formal brand strategy, sustaining growth and navigating an increasingly competitive landscape becomes exponentially more difficult without one. I’ve published a book titled ‘How To Develop A Brand Strategy: A Step-By-Step Guide’ to help businesses understand the critical role branding plays in their success. Let me share three scenarios where businesses often think they don’t need branding, but in reality, it’s crucial:

Initial Success: Many companies experience rapid growth based on word-of-mouth, viral marketing, or unique circumstances. I once worked with a nutritional supplement company that grew to $2M in sales within two years. However, when sales stagnated, my comprehensive analysis revealed that competition had replicated their offering due to a lack of differentiation. Their unclear value proposition and mixed messaging led to consumer confusion and decline. A strong brand strategy provided the foundation for sustained growth and clear differentiation. Niche Markets: Businesses in niche markets or local communities often rely on personal relationships and local reputation. However, without a strong brand, they struggle to adapt to market changes, expand operations, or attract investment. In the cannabis industry, I saw niche players lose their competitive advantage as large corporations entered the market and more states legalized recreational use. By developing a brand portfolio architecture strategy, I helped a cannabis company understand its market role, increase revenue, and ultimately get acquired. Established Reputation: Some companies rely on their long-standing reputation only to face sales declines due to shifting market dynamics and consumer preferences. I worked with a private non-profit university facing enrollment declines in a highly competitive landscape. By conducting a deep dive analysis and executing a positioning strategy that revived their brand identity for the first time in 22 years, we achieved the highest enrollment in 13 years and increased share of voice.

These examples illustrate why branding is vital for differentiation, adapting to market changes, attracting investment opportunities, and sustaining long-term advantage. A well-crafted brand strategy provides a solid foundation for growth, helps companies stand out in crowded markets, and builds strong customer loyalty. As the author of ‘How To Develop A Brand Strategy: A Step-By-step Guide’ and with my extensive experience across various industries, I bring unique insights into how businesses can leverage branding to drive success. I’ve helped companies of all sizes, from startups to global corporations, develop and implement effective brand strategies that have resulted in increased market share, improved customer loyalty, and sustainable growth. In today’s digital age, where consumers are bombarded with choices, a strong brand is more important than ever. It’s not just about a logo or catchy slogan; it’s about creating a cohesive identity that resonates with your target audience and sets you apart from the competition. Whether you’re a small business owner or a marketing executive at a large corporation, understanding the power of branding and how to effectively implement a brand strategy is crucial for a long-term success. I’m passionate about helping businesses realize the full potential of their brand and would love to share my insights with your audience. From discussing common branding pitfalls to providing actionable strategies for brand development, I believe your listeners would gain valuable knowledge that they can apply to their own businesses or careers.

Joey L Dowdy

Hello, my name is Joey L. Dowdy aka Dr Dancer, CEO of Get Up & Groove Entertainment LLC. I would love to be on your show and or interviewed because I have a unique story that I’ve been dying, no, actually “living to tell.” It’s a stimulating, yet painful, and rather mysterious quest about overcoming adversity. You see, I’ve been working in the entertainment business for twenty plus years. I started my show biz career at six years old as a performer, then later as a choreographer, instructor, author, producer, master teacher for stage, television, online courses, and on various social media platforms. I teach people how to get unstuck and out of the rut of living mundane lives through the art and joy of movement and dance, fun fitness routines, and winning motivational practices. Using my techniques and methods allows them to be set free, and experience what it feels like to live their best life on the groove!"

My Story

Little did I know that I’d be put to the test and have to practice what I preach. It all started in 2016 when I endured a string of life-threatening incidents. Such as, hip replacement surgery June 7th followed by two freeway car accidents on July 29TH & Aug 6th while being transported from my physical therapy appointments. If that wasn’t enough, fast forward to November 2016. When I felt an annoying pain in my upper back, like it needed to be cracked. Yet, it wouldn’t crack, and the pain never subsided. I knew something was wrong, so I went to the emergency room. Shortly after, a nurse checked my stats and then stared at me like she was seeing a ghost. Just then I hear footsteps running down the hallway like a stampede. But it wasn’t cattle, it was people, or a slew of interns. Then one of the girls from the crowd looked directly at me and shouted, “You don’t look like you’re having a heart attack.” Then I was immediately rushed to have coronary surgery the same day, Thursday, and remained in the hospital that Thanksgiving weekend.

Since then, in July & Sep of 2023 I had two bone marrow surgeries and was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis, a rare bone cancer blood disease.

Here’s the thing: Despite facing multiple health challenges I’m committed to living my best life on the groove. I’m a strong believer in faith and, "I thank God for his grace and mercy that I'm still here,"

"My mission is to share my story and help others find their passion through movement and dance."

Dr. John C. Brady II
AVAILABLE FOR INTERVIEW: Author of PSYCHOLOGICAL DNA: A Cold Case Analysis of Who Killed Robert F. Kennedy
Rated #1 New Release in Forensics by Amazon

CALIFORNIA CRIMINOLOGIST PSYCH RE-EXAM OF SIRHAN SAYS SECOND-DEGREE MURDER CHARGE WARRANTED; SIRHAN NOW A POLITICAL PRISONER

WHO:  Author Dr. John C. Brady II, Psychologist and Criminologist and author of PSYCHOLOGICAL DNA: A Cold Case Analysis of Who Killed Robert F. Kennedy.  Brady has written several books about criminal psychology, such as why wealthy people shoplift and why ordinary, law-abiding citizens suddenly commit horrendous crimes. He has also explored the relationship between psychiatric drugs used to treat anxiety and depression and criminal behaviors.

WHY: Did Sirhan Sirhan deserve to be convicted of first-degree murder for shooting presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy in 1968?

A new book, PSYCHOLOGICAL DNA: A Cold Case Analysis of Who Killed Robert F. Kennedy, re-diagnoses Sirhan, and the author says, “It is my opinion that a second-degree murder conviction would have been far more appropriate. One could argue, therefore, that Sirhan is being held today as a political prisoner. My professional opinion is he should have been released decades ago.”

Author Dr. John C. Brady II is a psychologist and criminologist who has painstakingly reviewed the case and, without giving credence to second-shooter theories, concludes that modern diagnoses of Sirhan’s complex mental health issues would make a difference to a California jury had these tools been available at the time.

Based on his extensive analysis of Sirhan’s case, Dr. Brady concludes that at the time of the assassination, Sirhan was experiencing a dissociative identity disorder, formerly called multiple personality disorder, creating two distinct Sirhans, each unknown to the other. The “bad personality” who shot RFK was formed when Sirhan was a Palestinian child living in a war-ravaged killing zone in what eventually became Jordan. This bad personality was triggered by some of RFK’s statements supporting Israel after the 1967 Six-Day War.

In Dr. Brady’s opinion, the “good” Sirhan is the personality we see interviewed by professional psychologists in many California prison settings, recently including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who doesn’t believe Sirhan fired the shot which killed his father. Such a belief, according to Brady, opens the door to conspiracists who fail to recognize the diagnosis of Sirhan’s underlying criminal psychopathologies.

At the time of Sirhan’s trial, Dr. Brady was a graduate student at the University of California Berkeley School of Criminology when his major professor, Dr. Bernard L. Diamond, served as Sirhan’s chief defense psychiatrist. Dr. Brady was provided with essential, strategic information used by the team of defense doctors provided to him during many of Dr. Diamond’s seminars addressing issues related to criminal insanity.

True-crime readers, attorneys, and those interested in how the mind works will find PSYCHOLOGICAL DNA a fascinating read. Available at trineday.com or online book retailers.

Sally Hunter- Poet and Biologist crafts a novel that captures Ocean's allure, advocates for environmental protection-

Sally Hunter, the author of Transfigured Sea advocates for environmental protection. Sally, an Australian woman who has dedicated her entire career to environmental policy and marine biology, issues a challenge to each of us.

Transfigured Sea is a work of literary fiction, written in prose with a few poems included. Minimal use of dialogue facilitates its dream-like atmosphere.

“If you feel attracted to the sea creatures and ecosystems described in my book, tell me what you are going to do to protect them,” says Sally Ann Hunter.

Her book, Transfigured Sea, examines the relationship of two women as they explore the depths of the ocean’s natural beauty.

Please let me know if you would be interested in having Sally on your program.

Thanks!

Andi

Hunter is available in an interview to discuss the following:

· What we each of us can do to protect the planet and the oceans.

· What poses a direct threat to marine life and the integrity of sensitive ecosystems.

· Why she devotes her career to environmental policy and marine biology.

· How the effects of the moonlight on the ocean also impact the author’s relationship with her partner – and why she wrote of a deep connection between nature and love.

· How one can undergo a powerful transformation.

· Why she employed a Nature Writing style to tell her story.

· How two women journey to explore every ecosystem of the ocean while also exploring their own natures.

“This book is about two women who journey to explore every ecosystem of the ocean, while also exploring their own inner natures,” says Hunter. “They are accompanied by a magical conch shell. Nereids who are water nymphs and many sea creatures. They have no idea of the profound transformation which will come to them.”
