Brooke Barousse is passionate about helping families. For the past 12 years, she has placed hundreds of Nannies and household staff members with families throughout southern California. She’s affectionately been called "The Nanny Matchmaker" and the "Nanny Whisperer" because of her ability to communicate a family’s needs to household support staff and is equally skilled in helping Nannies communicate their needs appropriately with their employers. Barousse says, “I have an instinct for reading people which has resulted in a high success rate for what is essentially personality matchmaking for my clients and their newly hired household staff. I can see where skills and energies mesh—and where they don’t. We educate our nannies and other household staff members to set them up as consummate professionals and our one-month guarantee ensures that we have happy clients.” She understands the unique relationship families have with those who work inside their home. Not only is a household staffing position one of the most trusted jobs a person can have, but it is one that has the potential to be the glue that keeps things running smoothly, efficiently and happily—both in raising joyful, supported children and in keeping a clean, well-run household. Being based in Los Angeles comes with its own rare set of talents that are required of her nannies, which are trained to handle situations that only a celebrity client might require, such as handling the paparazzi. Her previous experience at a Household staffing agency, a boutique corporate staffing office, as well as the proud owner of a non-toxic cleaning service, have given her the insight and background to problem solve and be a resource for clients, and truly understand the requirements of caring for the most precious things in their lives—their children and their homes. A self-proclaimed information sponge, Barousse also has a personal affinity for trivia and has appeared on a number of game shows over the years, including “Family Feud,” “Press Your Luck” and “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader." |

Mike Fransen
Today's world is as unsettled and uncertain as it has been in our lifetime. Even historically predictable life tasks like how and where we go to work lack definitive answers. With the benefit of extensive leadership education and real-life experience, combined with over thirteen years of commercial real estate-focused in the office sector, I became intrigued and invested in the future of work. What I discovered is that for these centers of business to thrive the community of workers must thrive. However, as I became more and more invested in these external communities, as I approached the midpoint of life, I was concerned this effort was starting to come at the expense of my community of my family. In 2019, I left my role as COO, to regroup, and focus on the future of work while also being fully invested in my wife and two daughters. I authored The Legacy Business as a rallying cry for myself, but also as a way to encourage the countless others I encountered contemplating the same things. I would be honored to dialog about the concepts and themes encapsulated in this book. USA
Mike was born and raised in Southern Oregon with his parents and younger brother. From there, he spent four years at West Point. During the subsequent five years of service as an officer in the U.S. Army, he worked in Finance with assignments in Ft. Hood, Kosovo, and the Defense Intelligence Agency. After the Army, Mike went back to school, earning his MBA at Yale University's School of Management. He went on to work for a commercial real estate firm, eventually serving as COO. He left that firm and began his own company, Workng, which focused on strategizing about and operating work environments of the future. Mike most recently published a personal and reflective book, The Legacy Business, where he discusses a variety of topics he considers critical to his future success as a husband, dad, friend, and leader. Mike lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife Stacey and two teenage daughters. ![]() |

Anjana P Khosla
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in TN and CA. I believe every human being deserves to be seen and live in a way that brings about peace, self-love, and a positive self-image. This can be difficult when immersed in rigid cultural systems, exposed to trauma, and dealing with intense emotional pain. Extrinsic influences about gender, ethnicity, nationality, physical and mental capabilities, sexuality (and much more) can leave so many people questioning their own existence. In the face of this, daily living itself can feel like a challenge and leave a person feeling isolated and alone. My hope is to provide you with the support we all deserve in order to live as fully as possible. Knowing your worth is the backbone of living a healthy, authentic, and fulfilling life. I strive to support you in integrating all aspects of your identity in a way that is in alignment with your personal values so that you can explore what brings you joy, define what success means to you, and create an all encompassing definition for health. United States
My interest in the therapeutic arts began at age 14 in 1997, when I volunteered to spend time with elderly clients in an assisted living facility (Manor Care Nursing in San Jose, CA), providing residents company every Saturday throughout the entirety of high school. While obtaining my undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science at University of California San Diego, I volunteered at Ronald McDonald House for Children offering comfort and support to families with terminally ill children. In 2012, while I was working as a Research Associate at Kaiser Permanente (Santa Clara, CA), I volunteered as an advocate with the YWCA SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) and decided that my true calling was as a therapist. From there, I began my journey through graduate school, followed with experience as a MFT Trainee at Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments and Associate MFT at Family and Children Services.
