Over the past 33 years Senator Brown has been involved in many national and local political campaigns, including six Presidential campaigns. He has also been involved in the past ten consecutive Democratic National Conventions including being an Obama super-delegate in 2008 and 2012. Brown lobbies the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives on behalf of the citizens of the District in their attempt to gain full representation in Congress, self-determination, and eventually admittance to the union as a state. As shadow senator, Brown also works with the District's delegate, mayor, and council to advance the interest of local residents on Federal issues. Brown is a member of the Democratic Party.

Michael Galate is a certified personal trainer and fitness coach with over 20 years in the industry and a passion for health, fitness, and nutrition.

Born and raised in Malibu, CA, Michael grew up with an active lifestyle, playing sports, going to the beach, outdoors. Michael graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Business Management Economics.

Michael became a certified personal trainer in 2015 and started working for Malibu Fitness. Michael is a personal trainer, group fitness instructor for TRX, Boxing, HIIT, to name just a few. He is also the manager at Malibu Fitness.

Sally McQuillen, LCSW, CADC, is a psychotherapist in private practice specializing in addiction, grief, and trauma recovery.

She provides ongoing support for addiction recovery, as well as support for those recovering from the impact of a loved one’s addiction. She sees adults seeking relief from mood symptoms, helps them navigate their personal and professional relationships and lead more fulfilling lives.
