EPISODE 15-DECIDING WHAT IS OF VALUE
Join Psychic, Medium Shelly J. Miller as she shares the teachings of Jesus from A Course in Miracles about learning to choose what is of value. If you are struggling with the seeming chaos of an insane world, this episode will help you to stabilize by learning what is truly of value. As we move towards our spiritual awakening, our values change from goals and ambition in the world and our relationships to what Jesus says is truly of value, which has nothing to do with anything that is temporary. Jesus says we have only two choices between what is of value and what is completely valueless. Since the Kingdom of God is within us, listen to discover where you are placing value in in your own life, and how to change your perception so that your choices lead you back through the Gates of Heaven where everything is given to you. Shelly gives insights to daily practice and examples from her own experience to demonstrate how you will find a new experience of love, peace and joy that last by deciding what is of value and living that way from now on. Examples from Dr. Wayne Dyer from his movie “The Shift”, and Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len from his book “Zero Limits” are also highlighted.

FOREIGNER
The band is raising money for the crew and their families by selling some cool limited-edition vintage and current Foreigner merchandise items, along with various items donated by some of the band’s sponsors and vendors, via the Foreigner website.
JEFF ALSO HAS A NEW ALBUM
with FORMER DOKKEN BANDMATE GEORGE LYNCH
ENTITLED 'HEAVY HITTERS'
Jeff Pilson is currently the bassist for Foreigner. He joined the band in 2004. He produced Foreigner’s 2005 CD, “Live in ’05,” as well as tracks off of their “No End in Sight” CD in 2008.
Pilson was a member of heavy metal bands Dokken, Dio and MSG. He also formed his own progressive metal group called War and Peace in 1989, releasing three albums: 1993’s “Time Capsule,” 2000’s “Light at the End of the Tunnel” and 2004’s “The Walls Have Eyes.” He also worked with his ex-Dokken band mate, guitarist George Lynch in a two-member group called Lynch/Pilson, which in 2003 released the critically acclaimed “Wicked Underground” in 2003 where Pilson also handled lead vocal duties.
Although he is known primarily for his work as a bass guitarist, Pilson also plays guitar and keyboards.
Jeff Pilson is also an actor, having appeared in the movie Rock Star, 2001. Pilson played bassist Jorgen, of the fictional band Steel Dragon. The film also featured performances by musicians such as Zakk Wylde, Jason Bonham, Myles Kennedy, Brian Vander Ark, Blas Elias and Nick Catanese. He also played in the film’s soundtrack and served as Musical Director for the film.
Guitar-shredding virtuoso George Lynch has reteamed with former Dokken bandmate Jeff Pilson for a set of new studio recordings that turn pop music classics into powerful metal anthems! The two have previously made metal magic together as a duo on the 2003 album Wicked Underground, which was recently reissued on vinyl, as well as with other projects such as T&N and The End Machine. But this new batch of recordings, entitled appropriately enough Heavy Hitters, stands apart not only for its outstanding roster of players and vocalists including head Bulletboy Marq Torien, Fishbone’s Angelo Moore, Kansas native Wil Martin (Earshot) and drummer Brian Tichy (Whitesnake/Ozzy) but for the jaw-dropping song selection. If you’ve ever wondered what an amped-up, full-throttle version of Carole King’s “I Feel The Earth Move” or Prince’s “Kiss” or Oasis’ “Champagne Supernova” or Madonna’s “Music,” then this is the album for you!
As a special treat, the band has released the first single from the album – a powerful rendition of Duran Duran’s “Ordinary World” – featuring Martin on vocals, offering just a small taste of what’s in store.

Actor, director and playwright and Founder & CEO of Visions of Possibilities
SONIA JACKSON
Sonia Jackson (Writer / Performer) is an actor, director and playwright and Founder & CEO of Visions of Possibilities, a nonprofit that focuses on edutainment and is committed to bringing to the public projects that challenge us to live life from what’s possible and works that celebrate the human spirit.
When put in ballet classes at age seven to help straighten her legs, Sonia Jackson discovered she loved performing. That same year, she wrote, directed and performed in her first Christmas pageant. In school, it was math and dance or dance and math.
After graduating from Chapman College in Orange, California with a BA in Sociology, Sonia entered the corporate world in Human Resources in industries like banking and aerospace. Still, the performance world beckoned so she added stand-up to her list and hit the stage as a comedienne. Once bitten by the performance bug, Sonia jumped in. She put her house up for rent to be free to pursue acting full-time. This action also spawned another opportunity: real estate investing, a career where she continues to advance.
Having entered the entertainment industry somewhat past the age of ingénue, Sonia felt a need to introduce herself in a memorable way, so she created a one-woman project called I’m Gonna Fly. Since then, she continues to expand in her acting and performance career creating projects like Conversations ‘Bout the Girls.
Sonia Jackson switched from the corporate world to the entertainment industry for the love of performing. Since she had no credits, Sonia jumped in doing stand-up for fun. A friend suggested she do something memorable which resulted in her first solo show, I’m Gonna Fly, a critically acclaimed play on the world’s first licensed black aviatrix, Bessie Coleman. Sonia wrote and has been directing her ensemble play, Conversations ‘Bout the Girls. Birthed 15 years ago and consistently performed, Sonia turned it into her second solo show at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2017. Both shows earned her NAACP Theatre Award Nominations. Mamaisms is Sonia’s third and latest solo show.
Acting credits include This Is Us, Stray, POLY, Jurassic Park 3, Speed, Grey’s Anatomy, Villain, In Response Year of the Woman and more. Sonia is a Towne Street Theatre Company Member, has studied improv in LA and Shakespeare in England.
Sonia is expanding in so many ways, she has given herself the title of Creatist.

Communications consultant
Eli Zupnick is an experienced communications strategist who has spent his career working with candidates and elected officials to help them win races, enact their policy and legislative agendas, manage crises, and get their messages out clearly and effectively. Eli began strategic communications consulting following ten years in the United States Senate, including six years as Communications Director for Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA), the Assistant Democratic Leader and third ranking Democrat in Senate leadership.
As a strategic communications consultant, Eli has worked with nonprofits and advocacy organizations to help them develop communications plans, manage crises, roll out new projects and initiatives, and secure favorable coverage in major news outlets. He has written and placed op-eds that have appeared in the Washington Post and other major publications.
As Sen. Murray’s Communications Director, Eli managed communications for her personal Senate office, Democratic leadership office, and Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Ranking Member office. He led the communications strategy and execution around the passage of numerous bipartisan bills, including her signature K-12 education law that replaced No Child Left Behind. He was on the front lines of Senate Democrats’ messaging and strategy in the fights against President Trump’s attempts to repeal health care reform, defund Planned Parenthood, and jam the courts with extreme judges.
Prior to that role, Eli was Communications Director for the Senate Budget Committee, where he managed communications for Sen. Murray and committee Democrats through the rollout and passage of the Senate Democratic budget, the 2013 government shutdown, and the Murray-Ryan bipartisan budget deal. Prior to that, Eli was press secretary for Senator Murray and lead spokesperson for her work on the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction (the Supercommittee).
In addition to his work in the Senate, Eli has extensive political campaign experience. He took time off from the Senate to serve as senior communications advisor for Sen. Chris Murphy's 2012 successful election in Connecticut as well as Rep. Bruce Braley's 2014 Senate race in Iowa, and then to run communications for Sen. Murray's successful re-election campaign in 2016. Prior to that, he was a press staffer on the 2008 Obama campaign in multiple states and worked on local races in New Jersey and Rhode Island.
Eli is a native New Yorker and graduated from Queens College with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy.
