Champion for Justice

Tim McCormack has been a champion for justice in our communities for over 28 years with proven experience, trusted leadership, and integrity.

Everyone, regardless of politics, deserves to be safe.

Over my 28-year career, I have sought justice for victims and provided fairness to the accused. I have cultivated strong, collaborative, and productive working relationships with all criminal justice providers including law enforcement, judges, prosecutors, support staff, defense attorneys, and victims of crime.

Your district attorney should pursue justice in your community without any predetermined agenda.

As your District Attorney, every decision I make will not be dictated by politics or how it will affect political careers. Rather, every decision I make will be dictated by my desire to keep you and your family safe from those who will do you harm.

Elections have consequences. Compromising your safety shouldn't be one of them. The public safety of our communities, and the prevention of criminal activity in the first place, should be the top priority of the District Attorney's Office.

Please join our team in that effort. Thank you for your support.

Guest Biography:

Young Woman on a Mission

I was born in New Britain, CT and raised in Southington, CT. I am also an only child. When I was younger, I was very athletic. I was always playing sports and being active. During the summers I lived on a beach, it was always my favourite spot to be.

When I got into high school I became a God-mother. Today, my God-daughter is three years old. I focus on spending time with her and help her to become the woman that she is capable of being. This was one of the biggest events in my life because it gave me a responsibility to care for her for the rest of my life. My God-daughter, Brooklyn, is one f the main reasons that I want to do well in life.

Spinal Fusion

Two of the hardest events that I have overcome in my life are my back surgeries. Having one in 2010 and one in 2012, I had a rough high school career. I was in and out of the hospital and finally ended with rods and screws holding up my spine. I look at these events as a learning source teaching me that I can push through anything standing in the way of me being successful.

Haiti Mission

In high school, I also got into missionary work. I began going on trips to Haiti. There, I stay at an orphanage. I help take care of the children, I make home visits around the village, I visit the sick and elderly, and I raise money to help it become a better place. I have started leading my own trips to Haiti during the summer. I also spent Spring Break '14 performing mission work in New Orleans, Louisiana. While I was there we helped to paint the exterior of a house, put up walls in another house, and even paint one woman's porch and living room along with gardening work and talking with the locals. Missionary work is something that is very important in my life and something that I see myself doing for the rest of my life.

One day I hope to own my own non-profit organization in Haiti.

Al is a loyal, focused, motivated, hard-working, confident, and realistic person. In addition, having a good sense of humor has allowed her to build long-lasting relationships. Throughout her career, these attributes have served her well.

Success doesn't fall from the sky, it takes hard work, dedication, and commitment to winning. As a voracious reader and a serial question-asker, she is constantly in search of knowledge.

Al spends her free time drag racing in the NHRA D1 Circuit, doing yoga, volunteering in Haiti and the local community church, and cooking.
