EASAE is an indie pop artist originally from Buffalo, NY. Pulling from Fleetwood Mac & Maggie Rogers, hitting a unique emotional tone that is sure to resonate through your bones. Making her debut feature on “Melting”, alongside Danny Olson and Yetep, establishing her sound as an emotional vocal powerhouse for subsequent releases.  Her debut album “Not Sure I Love It Here Yet” premiered December 16th, 2022.  A collection from her journey navigating loss while trying to keep her love for life close by.

CARLA MCCLOSKEY

Before becoming an author, Carla McCloskey was a long-time director and assistant director who began her film career when she was picked as an assistant director by the Producers Association. 

“I was one of the first women in this position,” recalls Carla, who has lived in Malibu since 1981 with her husband, Leigh J. McCloskey, an actor, artist and author.

Carla was later the assistant director on many films, including The Goodbye Girl, California Suite, Death Becomes Her, Point of No Return, Point Break, The ‘Burbs, The Color of Night, Hook and Jurassic Park. 

She worked with directors Steven Spielberg, Joe Dante, Robert Zemeckis, Richard Rush, John Badham, Herbert Ross, and Cher. She also worked on the television series Amazing Stories, Babylon 5, Ally McBeal, Gilmore Girls and The Closer. 

Carla wrote her first book, Grandma Told Me So—Lessons in Life and Love, to help others find and keep the best possible relationships in their lives. Carla writes with the wisdom and simplicity that she learned during her early life in Lodi, Wisconsin, a picture-perfect small Midwestern town. 

“At my grandmother’s side, I developed the life tools to balance rich personal relationships and family with a demanding life in Hollywood as a director and assistant director to many of today’s most notable actors and filmmakers,” says Carla, adding that she and her husband “have shared the many facets of a life in Hollywood while never forgetting to live a life in love.”  

Carla wrote her second book, Living in an Alien Body—Surviving Stroke, from her own personal experience to help others navigate the life-altering trauma of stroke.  

“This book will transform the way you think about stroke,” emphasizes Carla, whose goal with the book is “to navigate a stroke for you or a loved one—and hopefully prevent stroke.” 

Ultimately, “t may even help you or a loved one survive it—not as a helpless victim, but as an unexpected journeyer into strange and foreign lands.”

He is the author of “Giovanni’s Ring: My life Inside the Real Sopranos” in which details his most difficult undercover role and the years he spent as an FBI undercover agent inside the Italian-American mafia.

He contributes to the development of mental health and rehabilitation programs designed to engage and strengthen the resiliency of our nation’s law enforcement community. The insight and strategies Giovanni shares in his lectures and trainings were acquired through years of exemplary service with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

Giovanni has lectured throughout the United States and internationally, training thousands of public safety and military professionals in the fields of Trauma/Stress Identification & Mitigation, Leadership & Management, Effective Communications Skills, De-escalation, Conflict Resolution, and the Importance of Mental Health for first responders

Dr. Olivia Johnson holds a master’s in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri, St. Louis and a doctorate in Organizational Leadership Management from the University of Phoenix, School of Advanced Studies. Dr. Johnson is the founder of the Blue Wall Institute where she provides needs assessments, consultation, and training on wellness issues, suicide awareness and prevention, etc. Dr. Johnson is a veteran of the United States Air Force and a former police officer.

Timmy Bauer lives in Orlando, Florida. He is the author and illustrator of “Billy the Dragon,” “The Poisonous Woods,” “Zoe to the Rescue,” “Harper Hears No,” and “Lucas the Dinosaur Entrepreneur.” Before being an author, he worked for the Walt Disney Company as a puppeteer and actor. He also hosts two podcasts called the “The Purpose Driven Entrepreneur” and “The Literacy Advocate.” He is the owner of the kids book production company Dinosaur House, where they turn industry leaders into kids book authors.

Author and illustrator of the 5 star children’s book Billy the Dragon and its upcoming sequel The Poisonous Woods. When not writing, illustrating, or visiting schools, he works for the Walt Disney Company as a puppeteer and actor. He also teaches classes regularly at the Disney University.

Timmy has been writing and illustrating stories since he was ten years old, and it has always been a passion of his. His dream is to make kid’s books that motivate kids to want to read more and to challenge them with bigger words and complex sentences while at the same time maintaining their interest. Two very influential authors for him are Brian Jacques of the Redwall series and Dr. Seuss.

Bio

Camille Schrier grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, eventually moving to Virginia to complete dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Systems Biology with honors from Virginia Tech. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy at Virginia Commonwealth University.

A science lover for life, in June 2019 Camille was selected as Miss Virginia after breaking from tradition to perform a highly engaging, entertaining and educational science demonstration, the “catalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide” for the onstage talent competition. Her unique performance put a laser focus on women in STEM and sparked an enormous positive reaction, leading to a personal protective equipment sponsorship and a new STEM scholarship from an American chemical company. Camille traveled throughout Virginia inspiring thousands of students and became a sought-after keynote speaker in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

A national and international viral sensation, her story reached millions through The Today Show, Talk Stoop, CNN, BBC, The Kelly Clarkson Show, CBS This Morning, Inside Edition, The Weather Channel, Southern Living, Canada’s CTV, Germany’s RTL, and many more.

A certified Naloxone trainer and future Doctor of Pharmacy, Schrier utilizes her platform to advocate for promote her social impact initiative, Mind Your Meds: Drug Safety and Abuse Prevention from Pediatrics to Geriatrics, with a strong focus on combating the opioid epidemic.

On December 19, 2019 competing live on NBC, Camille was named Miss America 2020, distinguishing her in the 100 year history of the organization as the only woman to ever win the job with the help of science. She further carved her legacy as the first Miss America to speak in the United Nations General Assembly. The only Miss America to ever face the challenge of serving her role through a pandemic and be fully grounded for an extended period, Camille travelled the country both physically and virtually advocating not only for her social impact initiative, Mind Your Meds: Drug Safety and Abuse Prevention from Pediatrics to Geriatrics, with a strong focus on combating the opioid epidemic, but also for the advancement of STEM education. Flexible, adaptable, creative, and resilient, she educated and advocated around substance use disorders and decreasing stigma, collaborated with the DEA & CDC for medication safety initiatives, and brought science to thousands of students, imprinting for young women that “if I can see it, I can be it” while normalizing for young men the image of powerful females in science roles. Facing the pandemic with a pioneering mindset, Camille created an at home studio which became the base for projects like “Cooking up Science with Miss America” with PBS VPM which she wrote, filmed and produced, and the “Mind Your Meds with Miss America” webinar series with Advanced Recovery Systems, as well as numerous keynote addresses, and appearances for STEM, pharmacy, and business conferences. 

As the first “virtual Miss America” she connected with key experts in the areas of opioids and STEM, as well as directly into science classrooms across the country reaching thousands of children, and used her platform and voice to continue to raise awareness of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a genetic connective tissue disorder with which she was diagnosed at age 11. Innovative and entrepreneurial, in 2021 she launched of her own science educational brand, Her Royal Scientist, to continue to spread her message that “science is all around us” by exciting young minds about STEM, with emphasis on reaching underserved communities and normalizing femininity in the STEM world.
