Joyce Gioia is a Strategic Business Futurist concentrating on relationship aspects of the future. This arena includes workforce and workplace trends, as well as consumer, education, and business-to-business trends. Joyce is President of The Herman Group, a firm serving a wide range corporate, trade association and governmental clients on an international basis. Through consulting, speaking and training, Joyce helps clients position themselves for success in the future. Joyce has served clients on six continents and in 43 states.

Focusing on what will be most valuable for her clients and audiences, Joyce tailors her messages to what is most needed with an emphasis on take-home value, practical tactics and strategies that can be put to work right away.

To reach an even wider audience, Joyce has co-authored five books with her partner Roger Herman. These books are focused on what employers must do to attract, optimize, and hold onto their best employees. Joyce approaches Human Resources from an Internal Marketing perspective, taking external marketing concepts and strategies and applying them within the organization.

A respected professional speaker and trainer, Joyce has earned the designations Certified Management Consultant, the highest certification granted by The Institute of Management Consultants, and a Certified Speaking Professional, the highest certification granted by The National Speakers Association. She is also a Founding Member of the Association of Professional Futurists as well as being an active Professional Member of the National Speakers Association and The World Future Society. Joyce Gioia holds a bachelor's degree in languages and communications from The University of Denver and a masters in Business Administration (specializing in Marketing) from Fordham University. She also holds masters degrees in Theology and Counseling from The New Seminary. Joyce's career includes a wide variety of industries and fields, including hard goods, soft goods, wholesale, retail, and direct marketing. At the age of 28, she was the youngest magazine publisher in the country, publishing The Complete Buyers Guide to Stereo/Hi-Fi Equipment for Service Communications Ltd.

Often quoted in the national media, like Industry Week, The Christian Science Monitor, Entrepreneur Magazine, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, and on National Public Radio, Joyce is recognized as one who not only knows what's coming, but can communicate that future very effectively. She has also appeared on numerous radio and television talk shows and was featured in an episode of New Attitudes on the Lifetime Cable Network.

Joyce is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, and the International Who's Who of Business Executives.

Kim Ryan is been coaching for more than 40 years. She is an acclaimed spin specialist who has been focusing on spin technique for many years. She is a National and International coach and she holds a PSA Rating. She teaches primarily out of 3 different rinks in the Pacific Northwest, and works in collaboration with other coaches, allowing her to focus almost exclusively on spins.

In 2008 Kim launched her “Spinergy” Clinic series, which brings her unique spin specialization to more skaters and coaches. She works with skaters of all ages, including adults, and skill levels from beginner through international competitor. Kim’s teaching philosophy focuses on an energetic and supportive approach to help skaters make maximum progress.

 A RENEWED LEGACY

The Burrito Brothers celebrate an illustrious past while serving up fresh contributions for a bright future. They continue to climb the branches of the “many tall pines” first planted in 1968. Trace the winding paths of Country and Rock & Roll back, you’ll find them there. Anyone who had a heart and ears can tell these guys are world-class musicians and songwriters with one listen. Here they are in the years, carrying on the tradition of classic late-1960s and early ’70s “Hippie Country-Rock” music, expanding its boundaries, always exploring new horizons. Country Rock’s big bang came in Los Angeles in the late ‘60s. In 1968, Ian Dunlop and Barry Tashian started The Flying Burrito Brothers. Then in 1969, with Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman at the helm, the group released their classic first LP, “The Gilded Palace of Sin”. Since then the band has carried on, always evolving. This year marks the 50th anniversary of that classic LP.  Gram Parsons’ original vision for the band is still going strong. “I just ran 20 red lights in his honor,” says Chris P James.  At the beginning of the 1980s the band moved their base of operations from LA to Nashville. At that point the name was shortened to The Burrito Brothers. The band has remained in Nashville ever since.  Now, The Burrito Brothers are right on track. “It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for we… mmm feelin’ good!” says Chris P.

The band features Chris P. James (who’s been involved with the band since 2009), guitarist Bob Hatter, Tony Paoletta on pedal steel and drummer Peter Young…all extremely talented musicians who love being involved with the band’s legacy and creating new music to keep that legacy alive. They continue to carry the torch via The Notorious Burrito Brothers release, which features the band’s trademark tight ensemble playing, beautiful harmonies and excellent songwriting. The new album features eight original songs and the band’s version of The Dark End of the Street from The Gilded Palace of Sin.  

Will James from Gram Parsons International says, ““This latest incarnation is the closest to the original FBB sound of all of the previous bands.”

Yvonne Heath is married to her best friend Geordie, has three amazing children and is loving life in beautiful Muskoka, Canada.

She has been a registered nurse since 1988, working in ten different hospitals in the US and Canada in many areas including emergency, intensive care, chemotherapy and hospice.

Yvonne became disheartened by our society’s reluctance to talk about, plan and prepare for grief and how it causes excessive suffering in life and at the end of life. She suffered too, not knowing how to do it differently.

So, in 2015, she took a leap of faith, left her nursing career and blazed a new trail. She shares her message with heart and humour as an Inspirational Speaker, with her book "Love Your Life to Death", online program, as a television and radio host and through social media.

Her TEDx Talk—Transforming Grief, by Just Showing Up—was launched in May 2019. She is sharing her message globally and helping great organizations along the way.

Over the years Karin has realized that the majority of people who are experiencing anxiety/fear, depression, or PTSD is because of something, and often, many things have happened that confirmed some negative belief you have about yourself that has now become the subliminal background music for your everyday behavior. Ninety percent of our behaviors are subconsciously derived based on early programming if you will. By that, I mean that the first 6 years of a child’s life, is when the majority of what we learn about how the world works and how we interact with other people, is cemented in the brain and that is the place from which we behave 90% of the time. This means that since many of us did not grow up in a perfect and ideal family home, we benefit greatly from “updating” the programming.

Without updating our programming, we then re-create situations in our relationships that confirm these negative beliefs over and over again such as the woman who keeps choosing to be in a relationship with men who cheat on her because she has the belief that men are not to be trusted. Or the man who gets fired from every job because he is late every day and misses important deadlines because subconsciously he believes that “I am not good enough.” Therefore, he underperforms in all situations including in his marriage where he does not contribute to planning for the future or making daily decisions in the household but leaves it all up to this wife.

The good news is that you do not have to continue to live your life that way. And you do not have to be on medication for the rest of your life because the medication does not resolve the reason why you feel and behave the way you do. It simply numbs you for a while and has numerous side effects that may lead to much worse health issues.
