Shirley Sunday is a quirky, very English, song, The music uses Americana as influences, flavours of Country in the slide/pedal guitars and a nod to JJ Cale on the way out. The vocals however firmly place this as an English piece of music. The sentiment is nice and there is definitely an underlying good humour. This song always raises a pleasant smile at the end.

Soul artist Joy Xande looks to cool down the Toronto music scene with the formal release of ‘Just A Feeling’.
