Author Guy Lozier making public appearance at Hastings Book Store…

Author/Director Guy Lozier has teamed up with Hastings Book stores to do a February Book Signing Blitz. Having scheduled in Enid on the 7th, Stillwater on the 21st and Norman on the 27th, he also will be performing a book reading at the Cushing Public Library on the 8th followed by a signing.

Guy’s novel, “The Eternal: Guardian of Light” which is Book One from his “Mind Rift Saga” is currently in production stages as a movie. Featuring a large number of our local actors from Oklahoma including: Douglas Mauck, Davina Sullivan, Christophe Murdock, Charles Walker, J.C. England, Erin Elizabeth Cook, Mike McDonald, Desiree’ Jones & lead singer Eric Xton (4) from God in a Machine rock band. Other notable actors from Oklahoma are: Elijah Sullivan, Lance Barrios, Tim Biswell, Chris Pope, Cindy Nicholas, Teshara Frantz, Josh Southworth, Billy Dennis, Linda Mullins & Nivek Xton.

Pulling all the way from Hollywood, actor Michael Vaccaro will also make an appearance in the film. Michael, a well-known Broadway Theatre performer for several decades and film star to boot, having appeared with Warren Beatty & Dustin Hoffman in the feature film Ishtar along with a number of other films including his personal productions of “Child of the ‘70s” which features many high profile actors from Hollywood sets.

Making his first appearance in film will be Billyboy O. Morris, coming all the way from Jamaica to appear in the film and also perform one of his music hits.

Singer/song writers Steve and Stephanie Vernon from Tennessee will not only have a song featured in the film but will also be making major waves as characters in the film.

Famous Opry singer Laurence R. Albert will be performing a V.O. role in the film also.

The film will be shot mostly in the United States but will also feature scenes from Egypt. Which will include not only well known Egyptian actors but also bring the Pyramids, the Nile River, an Ancient Egyptian Temple, an Egyptian Museum and the Sphinx alive on the big screen.

During the signing in Norman, several of the actors from the film will also be making an appearance including local actor/musician Christophe Murdock, signing autographs with Guy. You will be able to get your copy of Guys novel purchased and signed at the Hastings Book store located at 2300 W. Main St. in Norman on the 27th of Feb. between 1-4pm. 

Guy Lozier, an Oklahoma resident, having grown up in Oklahoma enjoying small towns mostly, spends his time writing novels, working on film projects and other production issues such as film editing, film special effects, sound and graphic manipulation. Guy not only writes his novels but also creates his own covers and does his own editing.

Having owned his own bookstore back in the ninties, Guy spent much of his time back then reading sci-fi and fantasy authors who wrote series, having read well over 500 novels over the years with most of them being fantasy, pushed Guy to create his own stories.

Guy is currently writing three different fantasy series having recently published the first two books in his Mind Rift Saga. His first novel "The Eternal: Guardian of Light" is currently in production stages as a movie. He also is currently working on a Non-Fiction Historical Novel about one of the soldiers fromt back in the 1800's who survived Little Big Horn. He has the original Manuscript and other museum quality pieces which will be displayed in the novel in photos. This is an interesting novel in that the individual featured in the novel tells a different story than history concerning who gave the true orders which got Custor and his men massacred and then spent days writing a white washed report to turn in. A very interesting piece indeed.

Singer/songwriter Bruce Gibson’s earliest musical influences were John Denver, quickly followed by Lennon / McCartney. He’s carried that strong songwriter influence into his own music experiences which included many years of performing at county fairs, youth worship, college frat parties, late nightclubs, coffee houses, and open-air festivals. His songwriting today holds the lyric as a centerpiece and includes hints of relationship, romance, family, strength, nature, heartache, and tenacity. These words are wrapped in music that incorporate elements of folk, gospel, country, R&B, and rock. As I journeyed through the levels of the Healing Touch program I was surprised to find out that all documentation was done on paper and everyone had their own forms. To raise the bar of professionalism I developed an electronic program for documentation of sessions. I would like to talk about my program, Kinetic Hands.

I started my lifelong healthcare career in 1976 as an aide in the nursing home. From there I started my formal education graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 1980, Associate Degree Nurse (ADN) 1984, Bachelor’s in Science of Nursing (BSN) 1995 and then graduated from a Family Nurse Practitioner program with my Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) 2000. As I worked in a multitude of areas my ability to relate with client’s changed. I started to connect on an energetic level and I knew that there was more to learn. The opportunity presented itself at the Mind, Body and Soul by Scripp Medical conference that I attended in 2010. I experienced Healing Touch (HT) for the first time and returned home with a desire to immerse myself into the peace that I found as Anne Day, CHTP-I, worked on me. I had truly begun the lifelong process of healing from the inside out. The journey thus far has been amazing and my guides are invaluable. I am looking forward to the future and connections I will be making with everyone in the HT profession.
