What we were taught in our life is perhaps totally WRONG...David was once a big advocate of "The Secret" - and now reveals that he was totally WRONG about positive thinking...
In his groundbreaking #1 best-selling book, "Positive thinking will never change your life at this book will", counselor and master life coach David Essel explains that we have been duped into believing that such things like the law of attraction, which if followed correctly claims that we can attract millions of dollars into our life, the perfect body, the perfect lover… Just about the perfect anything by simply thinking a certain way.
The forward to David's ball, written by New York Times number one best-selling author Dr. Eldon Taylor, states that our thought process is not powerful enough to attract the very things that the law of attraction says that we should be able to attract.
David states throughout his book, by recalling interviews over the past 25 years with experts like Deepak Chopra, the late Wayne Dyer, financial guru Suze Orman and many more that not one of them ever stated that they attracted their success by thinking in a certain way. David Essel combines his 30 years of work in the field of personal growth along with stories from some of the top authors and success experts of our day, to shatter “the myth of the power of positive thinking.” David reveals that the real "Secret to success” requires much more than positive thinking, affirmations or vision boards, and that no one ever made a million dollars, got the perfect body or found their soulmate through positive thinking alone. There is a place beyond wishful thinking and fantastical affirmations. Let David take you there!

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW
Tesla bassist Brian Wheat lifts the lid on living the rock ’n’ roll life while struggling with anxiety, depression, and other issues seldom discussed by musicians in his new book, ‘Son of a Milkman: My Crazy Life with Tesla,’ which was released on December 15, 2020 via Post Hill Press and co-penned by Chris Epting).
The book is currently available at amazon.com
Far from your typical rock star, as bassist for the multi-platinum band, Tesla, Brian has enjoyed the spoils of success and lived the sex, drugs, and rock ’n’ roll lifestyle to the hilt. But it came at a cost, one that took years to repair.
In this deeply honest and utterly revealing memoir, Wheat sheds light on the many challenges he faces, including bulimia, weight issues, and the crippling anxiety and depression caused by his conditions. Just like the songs his legendary band made; this is no-nonsense, blue-collar storytelling at its best.
While revealing the vulnerable human behind the bass guitar, this autobiography also offers tremendous stories of life on the road, and collaborations and encounters with legendary figures like his pals in Def Leppard, David Lee Roth, Alice Cooper, and Paul McCartney.
Brian is best known as the bass guitarist of the platinum-selling band, Tesla, which he cofounded in 1982. Tesla became one of the biggest bands of the late 1980s–1990s. Brian owns a recording studio by the name of J Street Recorders in Sacramento, California. Papa Roach, Tesla, Pat Travers, Deftones, Kodiak Jack, Flashfires, and many others have recorded there.
Chris Epting is an award-winning journalist and the author of many books, including ‘Adrenalized’ (co-written with Def Leppard’s Phil Collen) and ‘Change of Seasons’ (co-written with John Oates).
Featuring a foreword by Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott and an afterword by renowned rock photographer Ross Halfin, ‘Son of a Milkman’ will entertain, surprise, and inspire longtime fans of this enduring band.

Principal Educator at Acupuncture in Podiatry
I have been a practicing podiatrist for 37 years and a certified acupuncturist for 27 years. Since including acupuncture into my private practice late in 1991 I have been combining my podiatric and acupuncture skills. During most of that time I have also lectured part-time in undergraduate podiatry courses in orthotic therapy. For all of that time I have also been Managing Director of Artisan Orthotic Laboratory. Very recently, we have incorporated digital scanning and digital modeling in the design of our devices on a foot by foot basis to create a model suitable for 3D printing.More recently I have also presented lectures and workshops in acupuncture for podiatry students at UWA, Galway University, Huddersfield University, QUT, UniSA and Metropolitan in Birmingham. For five years, I was team podiatrist for the Australian A League Football team, the Perth Glory. For the next 5 years I have been the sports therapist for a top rate under-age AFL football team and was WA State Minor Gaelic Football sole therapist for two Australasian Carnivals. Since then I have have providing my skills to my local amateur AFL club. My association with sporting teams always involves providing hands on treatment at training sessions and games. I have been conducting practical Podiatry workshops nationally and internationally for over 15 years.
It has been my mission to unravel the most effective acupuncture treatments for conditions commonly being presented to Podiatrists and pass this on to my profession. These were never self evident from the training I received. They have the capacity to make a profound difference to clinical outcomes and they do.
In 2013 I was awarded the Australian Podiatry Council Hall of Fame recognition. However, I am not about to retire!
BILLY KENT
Billy is a singer-songwriter born in and raised in Northeast Los Angeles (Highland Park), his songs encapsulate the many cultures and sounds of L.A. and California.
In his own words:
Music truly has saved my life; from an early age of 5, I danced in rhythm by eight singing in the school choir. After my parents’ divorce around age 10, life became a lot harder falling into poverty, age 12 getting arrested. At 13, my mom and sister got me my first guitar, and that put me on the path; it gave me an interest that turned to a passion for music more powerful than I knew.
My music education was the songs and artists that moved me. On the radio, I heard Ottis Redding sing “Try A Little Tenderness.” Artists like Marvin Gaye; I gravitated to prolific singer-songwriters besides Marvin, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Jackson Brown, so many to mention; inspiration. I put my feeling to paper and strummed my guitar for the next ten years.
Around age 26, the light clicked on and realized I was a Singer-Songwriter. Almost 40 years of song crafting, I have the same energy to create that melody, that groove, bringing joy to the listeners, sometimes even a tear to those connecting with the lyric.
Yes, music saves lives; it saved mine.
