I am a New Jersey sports dad, youth coach and Founder of iSport360. There are 30MM sports parents in our country who are frustrated by the lack of player feedback from their kids’ coaches…which is especially upsetting when many are spending thousands of dollars a year on sports. I also know first hand that coaches don’t have the time or tools to let every parent know how their child is doing. So the problem is a huge expectation gap between parents and coaches that leads to hyper-stressed parents on the sidelines and arguments over who made the travel team, who gets the starting position and who gets more playing time.
To solve this problem, we recently launched our data-driven mobile app that allows coaches and parents to share goals, objective feedback and data throughout the season and especially at the dreaded tryout time. To do this, we worked with experts in each sport and the guidelines provided by national governing bodies to define skills in a sport-, age- and gender-specific way…..for the FIRST TIME EVER. Now our app, and our proprietary database of well-defined sports skills is helping teams share coach feedback, improve player development and increase parent engagement. So please give the app a try at www.iSport360.com and sign up for our informative, and frequently funny, sports-parenting newsletter "The Chaotic World of Youth Sports". https://isport360.com/
