Passion: Tamara’s love for the arts started decades ago as she watched her father-in-law who was an esteemed Artist from Ireland. She was fascinated by how he could make images come to life with just a brush, a canvas and a few paint colors.
This was about the same time she became of aware of Bob Ross and was intrigued with the wet-on-wet technique. She started painting along with Bob as well as taking classes from Certified Ross Instructor’s.
Tamara' ran her own advertising agency in Michigan for over 20 years. Raising her two children and running her business kept her very busy and her love for painting was placed on the backburner. Years later she decided to pick up her paint brushes once more and became 100% dedicated to living her true passion…the Arts!

Formal Training:
Bob Ross CRI Training: Tamara attended Bob Ross CRI (Certified Ross Instructor) training in Muncie, Indiana, at the beautiful historical site where Bob filmed his PBS series. The training was intense, gratifying and an unforgettable experience. Upon graduation, she was given her teaching certificate in the very room where Bob filmed the show for 31 seasons.
Gary & Kathwren Jenkins: Tamara trained at the Jenkins Art Studio at their beautiful home studio in Sedona, Arizona with Gary & Kathwren, who made their names as televisions #1 floral painting artists and have taught painting internationally for more than 40 years. Since 2007 Gary and his artist wife Kathwren have been hosting their international television series "The Beauty of Oil Painting", shown on PBS and several European public broadcasters.
Kenneth Schilling Gallery & Studio: Tamara trained under Kenneth Schilling “Master Painter” at his Gallery in Mesa, Arizona, where she was also the Gallery’s Bob Ross Instructor. Kenneth mentored Tamara and taught her how to run a successful Gallery & Teaching Studio.
Scottsdale Artists School & Birmingham/Bloomfield Art Center: Tamara took many technical classes at both of these world-renowned and highly regarded Schools of Art.
Personal Life: Tamara is the Curator of Prescott Fine Art in Prescott, Arizona, a 10,000 sq ft Studio & Live Art Auction House devoted to local artists and teaching various types of art to our students. She is an avid hiker and lives in Prescott Valley with her husband, Melvin, and dog, Jazz (aka The Jazz Man – age 12).

Dr. Joseph Janosky brings more than 30 years of experience spanning athletic training, physical therapy, injury prevention, public health, higher education, research, and organizational leadership. He served as Director of Athlete Health at Hospital for Special Surgery for nearly a decade, leading interdisciplinary initiatives that integrated clinical care, prevention, wellness, performance, education, and research across all levels of sport.
Today, his work spans national-team sports medicine with Puerto Rico Lacrosse, athletic training education and applied sports science at Lasell University, research and professional leadership, and consulting with sports medicine professionals and organizations. Across these roles, he translates evidence into practical strategies that support athlete health, participation, and performance.
Graham Broyd is a British-American businessman, writer, and athlete. Born in Dorking, England, he went to school in Bedford and then Liverpool, before going to Birmingham University in 1978 to study International Relations and play sports.
Graham had a 40-year career in international banking, in London, Panama and New York. He was the CEO of the North American business of the Royal Bank of Scotland, and managed some of the largest currency and fixed income businesses in the world.
On retirement in 2024 Graham found his writing voice. A lifetime storyteller, Graham decided to write down the stories of his first trip to America, back in 1980, to self-publish and share with a few friends, for fun. Released by Forbes/Advantage Media in August of 2025, “Backpack, Jacket Surfboard. My Journey across America, Then and Now” delighted all who read it and was the top selling Travel Humor book in America in December of 2025.
Graham has spent a lifetime playing sports, representing the English National team in Water Polo in his early twenties, but also swimming, playing football, rugby, cricket, squash, tennis, badminton and golf at varying levels of competition. At the age of 56, with only six weeks of experience as a runner in high school, and then, later in life, a painful experience attempting the London marathon, Graham took up Masters sprinting.
It has been a journey of personal joy. The biggest impact has been hearing the stories of other athletes, all world-class today, and why they were not Olympians when they were young, but prospered – and peaked – later in life. Lessons for us all.
Graham has been married to Betsy since 1983, living primarily in Scarsdale, New York. They have a son, James, and a daughter, Peyton, both married and living in the New York area.
Graham’s first book: “The Panama Canal Treaties: The diplomacy and economics behind the treaty that changed the international order,” was self-published in July of 2024.
“Backpack, Jacket, Surfboard: My Journey across America, Then and Now,” was published by Forbes/Advantage Media in August of 2025.
