Aliyah Harris (Clapping) Aliyah was born in San Francisco Ca and was raised predominantly in Italy, until her family moved back to the United States in 2009. Aliyah is the oldest of 6 other siblings and they are all girls lol Aliyah is the graduating class 2020 at Deer Valley High School in Antioch Ca. Aliyah grew up having to be a responsible young adult at a early age to help her mother who was a hard working women with 7 girls striving to attain the resources that was necessary to help take care of Aliyah and  her sisters. Aliyah story is very Inspiring to others who are at risk but determined to stay in her own lane having dreams and aspirations.

Born 1962, Frank Van Bogaert started his music career at the age of 18 with the founding of Belgian New Wave band 1000 Ohm.  In 1981 1000 Ohm scored a big international hit “A.G.N.E.S.”, today still a much-aired New Wave evergreen. By the end of the 80’s and the beginning of the 90’s Frank had also become a much in demand composer of radio commercial tunes and TV series music. This is also the time when he bought Antwerp based ACE Studio.

His management and producer skills quickly catapulted the ACE Studio from a moderate studio to one of the most reputed and busiest studios in the country.  Even today, in these troubled economic times, ACE still stands strong as one of the few top of the range studio’s the country still has left. From mid-90’s on, Frank also began to release Electronic/Cinematic music under his own name. The last decade Frank has been specializing in producing rock music with a preference to Progressive rock, a music style he grew up with and has great affection for.

For those with nostalgic feelings about that warm 1000 Ohm vocal sound, it’s back, just listen to Fish on Friday’s albums.

Black Rain is Fish on Friday’s fifth and arguably strongest album up to date. As usual the production is flawless, and the songs and arrangements are well thought-out. The band, featuring Nick Beggs, Frank Van Bogaert, Marty Townsend and Marcus Weymaere, sounds tighter and punchier than ever before.

As a response to the positive reactions to Lula Beggs' vocal contributions to Fish on Friday’s previous album "Quiet Life", Lula was given a bigger guest role, now appearing on four of the eleven tracks on the album.

Black Rain, comes close (it isn't entirely) to being a concept album about the fast changing, (for some way too fast), world we live in...Our changing environment, refugees fleeing from war and global political madness. Although the album certainly has its dark sides, there is also room for sun and happiness.

As always with Fish on Friday’s artwork, the album is packaged in a beautiful 6-panel digipack with a 16 page booklet designed by Michal Karcz, which truly compliments the music to make every aspect of Black Rain a true work of art and an album for our times.

HILARY LOFTUS - Healthcare Education Director of “Help our Wounded Foundation”, (HOW), & their Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy & Concussions.

Daughter of the first cardiovascular surgeon in Stamford, CT, Hilary grew up in a medical family. Before moving to south Florida, Hilary worked for a physical therapy service in Connecticut, coordinating their Parkinson’s Dance and Fall Prevention programs. Every day, she is excited about the opportunity to spread the word about hyperbaric oxygen therapy and how it helps people with neurological issues.

I am also a "Sports Mom" as my son played baseball and soccer throughout middle school and high school and I love both sports and dance, have a minor in Dance from State University of New York.  I also have raced sailboats competitively since age 12 and am currently learning to play golf and loving it!

Robyn Sutter was born in Sydney and moved many times including to Bathurst, Canberra, Dubbo, and 9 months in Kent, UK when she was 12-13. Robyn has now lived in Sydney, Australia for 40 years. 

Robyn became a Primary teacher working in  Trangie, Narromine and Parkes, as well as western Sydney areas of Canley Heights, Plumpton, Granville and the Inner West areas of Haberfield, Leichhardt. 

Robyn has a passion for free expression, so went on to do Grad Dip in Ed Studies ( Expressive Arts in the Primary school) and specialised in dance. She choreographed hundreds of performances and developed Whole Language teaching methodology using The Arts as the creative method of immersing children passionately into all subject areas of learning. I also developed a passionate philosophical/educational approach in my teaching which focused on individualised learning.  

Growing up interests - running, tennis, soccer, athletics, hurdles, piano 

Young adult interests - piano, disco dancing, amateur theatre

Late 40s - took up running again. Began sprinting as a hobby

50-60 - trained and competed in sprints and hurdles in Masters Athletics events in Australia and overseas, began writing a book about my passion to run.

Kate Davis MS, RDN, CSSD, LDNis a registered dietitian nutritionist who is board-certified as a specialist in sports nutrition (CSSD). She is the owner of RDKate Sports Nutrition, where she works with athletes and athletic teams both in-person and via video chat across the United States. Kate has previously consulted with middle school, high school, NCAA Division I, II & III, Olympic, Paralympic, NFL and NBA athletes. Previous and current clients include Grand Valley State University,the NBA G-League,USA Womens Hockey, USA Paralympics and several individual competitive athletes of all ages. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ online Sports Nutrition Care Manual and sits on the CSSD Exam Review Board. She has been quoted in media outlets such as Chicago Athlete, Competitive Runner and Runner’s World magazines, was an expert reviewer for the 6th edition of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Sports Nutrition Practice Manual (released 2017) and was an expert contributor to the book #HeySportsParents! (released 2018). Kate received her bachelors degree in dietetics and her masters degree in human nutrition with an emphasis in exercise physiology from Michigan State University.

In her spare time, Kate enjoys competing in running and triathlon and playing soccer, volleyball and snowboarding. She also loves gardening, cooking and “working” her most important job: raising her 3 beautiful children with her husband, Ron.

Commissioner Lora L. Thomas, District III - Douglas County

Lora Thomas is a third-generation Colorado native who grew up in Denver. Her life story is about overcoming personal challenges as a single mother, and extraordinary career achievements serving in the Colorado State Patrol and as Douglas County Coroner before her election as County Commissioner. Lora does not just talk the talk, but walks the walk when it comes to limiting government spending and keeping government lean and efficient. As Douglas County Commissioner, she has brought dynamic, effective leadership to Douglas County, and residents know her door is always open to listen and learn from all of Douglas County residents.  Lora knows that leaders do not solve problems by dictating, but by listening!
