Guest Occupation: Doctor, Researcher, Paleoanthropologist, Scientist, Zoologist, Shamin, Teacher, Writer, Author
Guest Biography:

Research paleoanthropologist Hank Wesselman is one of those rare cutting edge scientists who truly walks between the worlds. He did his undergraduate work, as well as his Masters Degree, in Zoology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, then went on to receive his doctoral degree in Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley.

A native New Yorker, he has spent much of his life living and working among traditional tribal peoples, primarily in Africa and Polynesia. He served in the US Peace Corps in the 1960's, living among people of the Yoruba Tribe in Western Nigeria for two years. It was there that he first became interested in indigenous spiritual wisdom.

Since 1971, he has conducted research with an international group of scientists, exploring eastern Africa's Great Rift Valley in search of answers to the mystery of human origins. During this time, he has worked alongside such worthies as Dr. Don Johanson, Lucy's discoverer; Professor Tim White, whose expeditions have been featured in several TIME magazine cover stories, as well as members of the famous Leakey family. He is one of the primary investigators involved in the discovery of the "Ardi" sites (Ardiptithecus ramidus) in Ethiopia--recently revealed to be the famous missing link between humans and apes that Charles Darwin predicted would be found in Africa. Hank's research is involved with the paleoenvironmental reconstruction of the sites (4-6 million years old) at the time they were laid down.

Hank is also a shamanic student, practitioner and teacher, now in the 28th year of his apprenticeship.

In addition to his scientific papers and monographs, his books include his autobiographical trilogy: SPIRITWALKER: MESSAGES FROM THE FUTURE (Bantam, 1995), MEDICINEMAKER: MYSTIC ENCOUNTERS ON THE SHAMAN'S PATH (Bantam, 1998), and VISIONSEEKER: SHARED WISDOM FROM THE PLACE OF REFUGE (Hay House, 2001). These unusual books are focused upon a series of altered state experiences that began spontaneously out in the bush of Africa and document his investigations into a hidden reality that most of us have heard about, but few have experienced directly. In his explorations of these inner worlds, Hank may have also provided us with a glimpse into the possible evolutionary future of humanity. Combining the sober objectivity of a trained scientist with a mystic's passionate search for deeper understanding, his books also contain revelations of the generally secret teachings of the Hawaiian kahunas.

His smaller teaching books include THE JOURNEY TO THE SACRED GARDEN: A GUIDE TO TRAVELING IN THE SPIRITUAL REALMS (Hay House 2003) and SPIRIT MEDICINE: HEALING IN THE SACRED REALMS (Hay House, 2004) co-authored with his wife Jill Kuykendall.

His newest book (co-authored with Sandra Ingerman) is AWAKENING TO THE SPIRIT WORLDS: THE SHAMANIC PATH OF DIRECT REVELATION (Sounds True, 2010.)

Larry Dossey MD has described Hank Wesselman as an expert guide who fully realizes that he is playing with scientific and spiritual dynamite.

Hank currently lives on the Kona coast of Hawai'i island with his family, where they are involved in sustainable food production on their farm in Honaunau. He continues to write and to teach workshops across the country and abroad.

Guest Biography:

In February 1971, as Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell hurtled earthward through space, he was engulfed by a profound sense of universal connectedness. He intuitively sensed that his presence and that of the planet in the window were all part of a deliberate, universal process and that the glittering cosmos itself was in some way conscious. The experience was so overwheming that Mitchell know his life would never be the same again.

In the Way of the Explore, Mitchell traces two remarkable journeys – one through space and the other through the mind. Together they fundamentally alter how we understand the miracle and mystery of being, and ultimately reveal mankind’s destiny.

On January 31, 1971, Navy Captain Dr. Edgar Mitchell embarked on a journey into outer space that resulted in becoming the sixth man to walk on the moon.  The Apollo 14 mission was NASA's third manned lunar landing.  This historic journey ended safely nine days later on February 9, 1971.  It was an audacious time in the history of mankind.  For Mitchell, however, the most extraordinary journey was yet to come.

As he hurtled earthward through the abyss between the two worlds, Mitchell became engulfed by a profound sensation "a sense of universal connectedness."  He intuitively sensed that his presence, that of his fellow astronauts, and that of the planet in the window were all part of a deliberate, universal process and that the glittering cosmos itself was in some way conscious.  The experience  was so overwhelming Mitchell knew his life would never be the same.

Scientist, test pilot, naval officer, astronaut, entrepreneur, author and lecturer, Dr. Mitchell's extraordinary career personifies humankind's eternal thrust to widen its horizons as well as its inner soul.

His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and a Doctor of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT.  In addition he has received honorary doctorates in engineering from New Mexico State University, the University of Akron, Carnegie Mellon University and a ScD from Embry-Riddle University.

Dr. Mitchell has received many awards and honors including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the USN Distinguished Medal and three NASA Group Achievement Awards.  He was inducted to the Space Hall of Fame in 1979 and the Astronaut Hall of Fame in 1998.  He was a nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005.  He was inducted into the Leonardo da Vinci Society for the Study of Thinking in June, 2011.

After retiring from the Navy in 1972, Dr. Mitchell founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences to sponsor research into the nature of consciousness as it relates to cosmology and causality.  In 1984, he was a co-founder of the Association of Space Explorers, an international organization of those who have experienced space travel.

He is the author of "Psychic Exploration," 1974,  "The Way of the Explorer," 1996, (Third edition, 2006) as well as dozens of articles in both professional and popular periodicals.  He has devoted the last 38 years to studying human consciousness and psychic and paranormal phenomena in the search for a common ground between science and spirit.

Guest Biography:

Philip Gardiner has been described variously as - the anti-Christ, the Devil incarnate, a seeker after truth, shocking, the most interesting interviewee ever, challenging, controversial, the new Salman Rushdie, and was even banned from the United Arab Emirates.

Philip has acted as an advisor to various authors and radio programmes regarding mythology and history as well as having ghost written many articles for various magazines.

Philip is married with two children and lives in the heart of Robin Hood country in England. He has a Masters Degree in Strategic Marketing and 9 diploma’s ranging from Personnel Management through to Holistic Medicine and the craft of Etymology. Although he has been asked on numerous occasions to become “a member” of several institutions, Philip has strictly refused on the grounds of independence – seeing membership of certain organisations as being overtly influential on his research and understanding of the truths of mankind. Philip believes that some authors/researchers have been lead into membership of institutions or “societies” and are therefore of questionable authority. His background in the history of propaganda and the ancient and ongoing manipulation of mankind tell him that such things do indeed occur. He has however joined (upon being requested) a couple of what are known as secret societies in-order to find out what was happening inside – the conclusions of these journalistic forays appear in his books and he is no longer a member of any organisation.

Before retiring to dedicate his time to researching and writing, Philip was a Marketing Director and owner of a company in the UK. Part of this role included giving lectures on the art and history of marketing and propaganda to various organisations including certain government bodies and companies.

Philip began his writing career with a book entitled Proof? Does God Exist?: Is There Any Evidence for the Existence of God?  Published in 2002 and followed this up with his best selling The Shining Ones: The World's Most Powerful Secret Society Revealed, which launched in the UK and immediately outsold.

In his book The Shining Ones he set about proving a theory regarding an ancient priesthood called The Shining Ones who developed into the worlds' most powerful and ancient secret society. Philip uses history, etymology, archaeology, mythology, symbolism and his own expertise of propaganda to prove his theories. During the launch he appeared on over 200 radio programmes, tv and in the general media during this launch. Gardiner was called by several of these articles "the next Graham Hancock."

The next stage in his work was The Serpent Grail: The Truth Behind the Holy Grail, the Philosopher's Stone and the Elixir of Life (Watkins Publishing released The Serpent Grail worldwide in September 2005), co-authored with Gary Osborn, which delves back in time to actually discover the most remarkable of secrets - the Holy Grail, the Philosophers Stone and the Elixir of life - as well as uncovering a worldwide cult that spawned the whole thing.  One television company called the book "The most important story on the planet."

Biodata for Michael A. Cremo

The soul that I am entered its present body at the moment I was conceived in the fall of 1947.  I appeared from my mother's womb on July 15, 1948, in Schenectady, New York.  That birth was probably one of millions I have experienced since I left my real home in the spiritual world.  My mother tells me that when I was an infant, she would give me alphabet soup, and sometimes I would not eat it, but would just spell out words in the bowl.  From that, I take it that I must have practiced writing in many previous existences.  In this life, I recall always having wanted to be a writer.

"From the very beginning, my life has been a spiritual quest for love and truth.  My father served as an American Intelligence Officer for the United States Air Force, and from that time my life was one of periodic change and travel.  I went to high school at an American school in Germany and spent my vacations traveling all over Europe.  Once, in the spring of 1965, in a youth hostel in Stockholm, I met some kids who had been to India and back, traveling overland.  I decided I would someday do the same thing.  I also became deeply interested in Eastern philosophy, particularly Indian esoteric teachings.  I kept travel diaries, wrote poetry, and tried my hand at autobiographical short fiction.

"During my last year of high school in St. Petersburg, Florida, I took a creative writing course.  The next year I entered George Washington University.  Over the next two years, I became immersed in the counterculture and gradually gave up my plans to enter government service.  I continued my investigations into Eastern philosophy and esoteric spiritual teachings.

"In 1968 I left college and went to Europe on a voyage of self-discovery.  I took a boat from Haifa to Istanbul, where the pull toward the East was so strong that I found myself heading overland to India.  I got as far as Tehran, lost my nerve, and turned back.

"After carefully studying the Bhagavad-gita, a gift of some Hare Krishna people at a Grateful Dead concert, I decided that I should absorb myself in the yoga of devotion to the mysterious Lord Krishna.  Later I moved to Los Angeles to join the staff of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, and to write for the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT).  By 1980 I was regarded as an accomplished writer.  To date, the books written and edited by myself and other BBT staff have sold more than ten million copies and have been translated into many languages.

"With Dr. Richard L. Thompson, a founding member of the Bhaktivedanta Institute, I began a series of books aimed at both scholarly and popular audiences.  The first to be published was Forbidden Archeology: The Hidden History of the Human Race.  This book shows that archaeologists and anthropologists, over the past one hundred and fifty years, have accumulated vast amounts of evidence showing that humans like ourselves have existed on this planet for tens of millions of years.  We show how this evidence has been suppressed, ignored, and forgotten because it contradicts generally-held ideas about human evolution." "In lecture presentations on Forbidden Archeology to scientific and lay audiences around the world I see a new consciousness emerging that integrates science and religion into a cohesive paradigm of reality."

You can hear it all, should you choose to listen carefully with the eyes of your soul. My voice is translucent, sharing with you a part of my life that I have lived... Just silence for a moment the constant tumult of this chaotic life and allow yourself to vibrate from deep within... That's why I am here" ...

There often comes a time in someone's life when they receive the sudden realization that they have been living their life under the pretense of others. A Canadian born songstress, now living in New Hampshire, Amethyste has only recently taken that leap of faith on the directional path she truly believes is the expression of the pure essence of her own soul. Amethyste's music has its own derivative source and meaning for her, but is delivered to the listener in such a lucid dream where one is swept into her emotional vocals and drifts into their own translation of her ethereal creations.
