I love Swami Vivekananda and often sit down when I have a few minutes just to read a bit from any book in his complete works set. The beauty of Vivekananda is that he has a way of cutting through the mystical and getting right to the heart of Knowledge from a place that the western mind can cognize. He is profoundly rational in his approach to Jnana Yoga, or yoga of the mind, which, in essence, is the same work we teach at The Kumara Center for Spiritual Awareness.

Welcome to 2016! Multitudes of us exited 2015 feeling battered and beat up, both physically and emotionally. Last year was indeed a bumpy ride, and the journey is far from over. It is my personal feeling that we are several years away from any real palpable energetic lifting of the collective on the planet.

When we access heart and our authentic voices in group you begin to realize how much we run on assumption. Because Heart is all about no story, just bits and pieces of information that have coalesced into patterns. If you realize that it is all just fuzzy photons which are bits of light in arrays of patterns you can start to engage differently and it is fun to see what is possible. Those fuzzy photons are subject to change. Just because a pattern is a pattern doesn't mean it has to stay in that particular pattern.

Wow, what a crazy month November was! After having the very strong energetics of what was coming up for the collective show up in my outer world in October, I gave my students fair warning that the energies were on their way. And then I watched as some of my students were challenged to move through very difficult personal circumstances that the world had presented them. And, later in the month, I even had a hand in setting up our own Core Council for some “ego drama” because it was time for another shift to take place within our organization.
