Guest Biography

Ken Taylor is a former professional football player (NFL) and world-class track athlete. He played Corner Back and Punt Returner for the 1985 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears and San Diego Chargers. During his years at Oregon State University he was an all PAC-10 selection for track and football in 1984.

Since retiring from pro football in 1988 he has become a student of the profession and has been working with motivated athletes for more than 20 years. His specific training services are for those players who want to improve themselves and to develop their athletic potential through speed, quickness, and athletic skill instruction.

Ken earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University where he concentrated on, Exercise and Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, and Biomechanical Movement. He has earned many awards including PAC-10 All-Academic Team 1982, 1983, and 1984 and was the PAC-10 Scholar-Athlete Medal Winner for 1984 representing track and football.

Since 1988 Ken has worked with more than 5,000 athletes. He is outstanding as a private coach and has intructed many camps large and small.  Executing drills are great but Ken goes deeper by specializing in helping the athlete understand his or her genetic potential through muscle physiology and movement biomechanics. Through experience he understands that it is not only important to be faster and stronger but to maximize your control as well.

Most clients are multi-sport athletes that participate in anaerobic and change-of-direction sports such as, soccer, football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, tennis, and track & field sprints and jumps.

Additionally, Ken can personalize his trainings and work with you or your team on speed drills, agility workouts, running training and other speed workouts.
