The Watkins Award

The Watkins Award has established itself as the nation’s premier award for African American male high school seniors who represent the highest achievement in academics and athletics. The Award is emblematic of an extraordinary athlete, a bonafide scholar, and a person who has been recognized by prominent people in his community as a leader, volunteer, and community advocate.

Guest Biography

Keith Marshall is a 2012 Watkins Award Honoree from Raleigh, NC.  A 5 Star Athlete and an Academic All-American.  Keith was the nations top running back who also broke records in Track&Field.  He attended the University of Georgia and upon entering the draft, Keith ran one of the top 40 times in the NFL Combine over the years.  He is currently working on his MBA.
