My name is Dagny Van Der Jagt, and I am running to be the 1st District Attorney for the 23rd Judicial District of Colorado in 2025. With nearly twenty years of legal experience, I am professionally suited for this position. I have served as a deputy District Attorney Criminal Prosecutor, Civil Litigator and Criminal Defense Attorney in this community for many years. As the owner of a small successful Law Firm with multiple attorneys under my command in Castle Rock Colorado, I know how to stick to a budget, count paper clips, and operate a professional and effective organization that is accountable to its customers. I know how to balance life as a homeschooling mother in a demanding career. But most importantly, I know how to organize and live by my allegiances.

I believe in my God over my Nation, meaning I do not compromise my deeply held beliefs. I hold the Constitution as the rigid and firm foundation of all laws. Although I place Liberty above Security and Principles above Party, I recognize Law Enforcement as a necessary guard of Freedom and Property. We must honor our Police who necessarily defend our Liberty through limited use of power. We must be TOUGH & FAIR on Crime.

When a society bends the rules, allows petty criminals to loot private property, and corrupts the political, educational, medical and criminal systems, you have the introduction to Ayn Rand's novel “Atlas Shrugged.” When you introduce Dagny Van Der Jagt, you have a fierce defender of your Constitutional Rights.

My campaign is not born through a list of well known politically entrenched allies. Its genesis is through months of consistent and prayerful thought with my family and friends. I decided to pledge to hold the office of District Attorney as my only political goal, after which, I plan to return to private practice being proud of my service to my community. Through my dedication to this role, I hope to support other like minded elected officials to never compromise on the Constitution and to teach our youth what it means to be civil.

As I approached age 40 I decided to pursue my dream of running my own business and launched Creative Market Solutions, a marketing consultancy.

While working with the owner of a floundering franchise business on a marketing turnaround I realized that I really loved examining businesses from top to bottom and creating imaginative plans to boost sales and profits.

This desire led me to launch two businesses, the first in 1989 and the second in 2000.

Sheri Pedigo is a talented writer, songstress, and actor who grew up in a small town in Kentucky. At the early age of 8 she started to play piano and began to write her own songs.

She has a gift of the heart felt emotion of Karen Carpenter and then the soul and power of Tina Turner. She is powerful and authentic on stage commanding the audience and delivering her performance with the skill of a world-renowned conductor, taking you on a journey of your soul.

Sharing the stage with many iconic figures including Billy Davis and Marilyn McCoo (Fifth Dimension) Country legend Randy Travis, Toto’s lead singer Bobby Kimball, and Bill Champlin (Chicago) Producer Narada Micheal Walden (Whitney Houston) as well as produced and cowritten songs and videos with Actress Dyan Cannon.

Her voice can be heard on national jingles for Coca-Cola, Kroger's, Hennessy and Pat Boone's song I Had A Dream etc.

Sheri ventured into the European market in 2009 where she cowrote the song Break Away with Swiss Rock band Gotthard’s leads singer Steve Lee. It was released on the “Need To Believe” album and charted twice triple platinum.

Sheri has given many of her professional years to great causes and has been a voice to the voiceless traveling around the world on many stages. She has also helped and instructed many young aspiring singers teaching music workshops and working with inner city schools.

Sheri served as co-producer for Saving K-9 lives which is a nonprofit organization that brings awareness to animals in need.

She has actively been involved with Actor William Shatner's Hollywood Charity Horse show in Burbank California where she has been a Main Stage performer for the events as well as singing the national anthem during Shatner's entry to the arena on horseback. Her love for horses has been her motivation to support and be a voice for the Wild Mustangs whose lives are in danger everyday out on the range.

In May 2017 Sheri was an author in the book “Redeeming the Screens” Her chapter “The flight of a butterfly is her living testament of a life of faith, overcoming fears, proof of a living God and that we are to live our lives with purpose and destiny.

She is now reaching inside and writing powerful screenplays and working with writers and producers to further this new season of her life. She has an incredible gift to bring a story to life and allow the audience into the heart and soul of a person and to feel the life and emotions of those characters.
