Erica Lukes
Erica Lukes’ passion for the subject of Unidentified Flying Objects dates back to her early childhood. After a series of personal UFO sightings in 2013, however, Erica felt compelled to find out what was taking place in her home state of Utah. She decided to take an active role in the UFO subject and, as a result, joined MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network.
Such are Erica’s skills in the field of Ufology, she quickly went from being a MUFON Field Investigator to the Utah State Director for MUFON. She soon took on the role of Associate Producer for the MUFON Communications Team. Erica is also a part of the MUFON Experiencer Research Team. Erica’s efforts led her to being officially recognized at the 2014 and 2015 MUFON Symposium for her work with MUFON HQ . She now serves as the Communications Director for the International Association of UAP Researchers.
As her busy schedule increased, Erica chose to resign her post as MUFON State Director. Today, she is the head of UNEXPLAINED UTAH , an organization which is focused upon scientifically researching UAP – otherwise known as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Erica works with other UFO-based organizations, too, and on a global level, no less. She is driven to not only broaden public awareness of UAP, but also to develop research protocols that can be utilized by other organizations and to streamline the research process. Erica strongly believes it is imperative that UFO organizations work together to share information.
Erica is the team-leader on a research program called “Project Orange.” This project is specifically dedicated to studying sightings and clusters of orange/red orbs (which are also known as fireballs). On this particular project, she works with several MUFON Field Investigators: Robert Spearing, Terry Ray and Geoff Cox. Their protocols and findings are now an integral part of MUFON Education, an accomplishment they are all extremely proud of.
Erica was the lead investigator on the American Airlines 434 case over Nephi, Utah. This case was on MUFON's top 10 cases of the year and received international attention because of the gravity of radar and audio data obtained from the FAA.
Both Utah’s famous Skinwalker Ranch and its surrounding areas have held a strong, and lasting, interest for Erica. She has collected decades’ worth of case reports from this area, and particularly so with regards to mass sightings of UFOs, as well as mysterious mutilations of animals, and alien abductions.
Erica is an artist, as well as an accomplished, recognized, professional singer. She has been the lead-vocalist for many of Utah’s top bands. She also performed at the 2002 Winter Olympics. In addition, Erica has taken part in voice-over productions, and she has worked in the fields of radio and television, too. Erica’s innate ability to put others at ease, combined with a powerful stage presence, has helped her to positively influence those who come into contact with her, or those who tune into her regular broadcasts.
Erica has been a guest on numerous radio-based talk-shows, including The Richard Dolan Show; Ground Zero, with Clyde Lewis; Open Minds; Fringe Radio; The Martin Willis Show; Truth Theorem Radio; and the Paracast. Erica has also guest-hosted MUFON Radio. Erica’s speaking engagements include the 2016 Starworks Symposium. She will also be appearing on two major, new television series in the near future.
Media Appearances: Erica will be featured on two new television shows and was a guest on George Noory's "Beyond Belief". She appeared in a new Canadian documentary and has appeared as a guest on The Richard Dolan Show, Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis, Open Minds, T3cerMillenio TV, Fringe Radio, The Martin Willis Show, The Paracast and a guest host for MUFON Radio.
Lectures:
Erica has spoken at the New Mexico UFO Conference, the Starworks Symposium and will be speaking at the2017 UFO Congress.

Owner and Director and of Ancestry Moon Art Studios
Bio information taken from this website
and written by By Carrie Channell
Salima Cobb-Collins, owner of Ancestry Moon, 10338 S. Western, has developed a very personal art gallery that is also so much more. More than just a place to display of local artists’ work, the gallery provides a space for community where artists can paint, critique, and learn about techniques, installations, art history and even the business of art.
Throughout the year Cobb-Collins leads field trips to museums, gallery openings and festivals, and the Ancestry Moon artists collectively enter contests. The art on display is commissioned with part of the proceeds going toward installing shows twice a year, one in spring and one in winter.
The theme of Ancestry Moon is that of belonging. Cobb-Collins encourages her students and regular artists to tap into their personal histories and their ancestry and create works of art that connect people. Often, artists who have never met before identify with each other’s traditions and sometimes realize that they come from the same place.
The “moon” in the gallery name is the symbol for each person’s inner self, opposite the outgoing “sun.” Cobb-Collins keeps a quote on the wall to remind herself and the artists of this: “The moon is the key to the deeper emotional self. It’s where your secrets and desires live.”
Cobb-Collins also conducts family friendly events, including, “Mommy and Me” and couples-painting workshops. She serves home schoolers of Beverly/Morgan Park and does ministry work with local churches.
During the week a regular group of artists meet to paint, critique and socialize in the afternoons. Classes are available for intermediate and advanced students including weekend instruction for beginners and three-hour open paint workshops. Hours, special events and info: 312-956-5965.
