The Law of Emergence- What Is It?
As I began my research for my next show on bbs radio- Happiness Hangout, I was interested in having a guest on who could discuss the Law of Emergence. Now I practice of the Law of Attraction so I wondered how they connect. I really don’t know much about it so as I went on the hunt, I found information about the word emergence and a few others discussing it. The web is filled with information from my upcoming guest so why not give you all a little preview on this topic. Hope you find it valuable to your life.
THE LAW OF EMERGENCE
Children constantly observe their surroundings and develop their sense of self from input taken in through the senses. When a child witnesses a battle of egos, his psyche will pattern itself after both sides. Consciously, it will choose the side it agrees with, or the one that feels ‘right’, while unconsciously it patterns itself after the winning position, or the tactic the ‘winner’ of the battle used.
According to Dr. Gary Chapman, there is an emotional love tank inside everyone of us, including children. When our Emotional love tank is full, that means we feel loved by significant people in our lives. Likewise, when children’s emotional love tank is full…
• They feel connected to important people in their lives.
• They feel accepted for who they are.
Do you find that even though you really care about and love your children, they don’t seem to understand your love? Whatever you say, your words are being tuned out or ignored. Your children talk back at you, scream or yell at you, or even run to their room and slam the door.
Greetings!
An unfortunate byproduct of following the spiritual path, for many seekers, is the desire to leave the world altogether. In fact, it is precisely this desire that has brought many of them to their inner work in the first place. This is a trap.
People and experiences that have an impact on us are telling us a story. A story about ourselves and our lives. In order to understand what the story is revealing, we need to know what questions to ask.
How do we evolve as spiritual beings when we are addicted to the physical world?
If we are trapped in the dream of this Earthly dimension, how do we awake from the dream?
The program tonight began with a short guided meditation. Shusara answered a listeners question about making changes to the personality - is this bad?The rest of the session focused on the state of mind called shame. In closing, Shusara pointed out the symbolism of the Buddha under the Bodhi Tree to all of us living our lives here.
The program began with a brief discussion about the subtle, and not so subtle, physical cues people receive when they have been triggered. We then talked about the value of "self-help" work in this paradigm, pointing out the paradox that exists between how it functions here, as opposed to within non-polarity. Shusara spent some time advising everyone on how spiritual ego wants to negate certain levels of teachings and edify others. It is imperative that we view all things as equal.
