Dr. Terry Spain is the Chief Executive Officer of Terry Spain Consulting, LLC, specializing in diversity and leadership training, motivational speaking, mentoring and team building. With a distinguished 21 - year career in the US Navy, Terry served as an Ins tructor for the Senior Leadership Development Branch at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) in Patrick AFB, Florida, where his exceptional skills attracted the attention of the White House and US Naval Academy, among others, before r etiring. 

Dr. Terry Spain is the author of “Hey! Young Man!” and “Just Lead ,” is a US Navy Chief Petty Officer (Ret.), and a highly experienced sports commentator, providing expert coverage of various professional sports leagues including the NBA, NFL, and NCAA. Additionally, he’s deeply committed to mentoring athletes to help them reach their full potential on and off the field. 

In recognition of his hard work and dedication to worldwide communities, Terry was honored with The Presidential Lifetime Achieve ment Awards in 2023. Dr. Spain holds an honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration from TIUA School of Business, a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership with a Concentration in Civic Engagement from Claremont Li ncoln University, and a Bachelor's degree from Thomas Edison State University.
