CALL FOR ACTION!!!!! For the second time in American history, the Homeland Security & Government Affairs Committee of the United States Senate will conduct a hearing on a DC statehood bill, S.51, on June 22, 2021. I was told by the staff of HSGAC Chairman Gary Peters that I was not welcome to participate in the hearing because the agenda had been set and my testimony was unnecessary –- even though I testified at the very first statehood hearing before this same committee in the Senate on September 15, 2014. I was elected for the sole purpose of representing the 700,000 disenfranchised citizens of the nation's capital in our effort to attain equality through statehood. The voiceless residents of the District of Columbia are further silenced by this action. This is outrageous and the committee should hear from you now!

Originally from Houston, Texas, Jason Whitmore has been a resident of San Diego since 1996. As a graduate from the University of Houston with a degree in Saxophone Performance, Jason holds a deep appreciation for live performance that spans across all genres of music. Jason has been performing professionally in a broad range of musical settings his entire life.
Since the early 2000s Jason has been exploring his love for house and all forms of electronic dance music. He regularly performs live and records with top DJs and producers from all over the country.
Whether it is at an intimate dance club or large music festival, Jason brings a unique element to dance music that is a different experience every time.

Brian C Joondeph completed his training as a retina surgeon in 1990 and since then has worked both in private practice and full-time academic ophthalmology. He practiced in Michigan for ten years before taking his family on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to work and live in Auckland, New Zealand for several years. He has been in Denver for the past 15 years after returning from his academic retina position down under. Denver was a great fit for his family after New Zealand given the opportunity for outdoor adventure and sports.

Colorado GOP candidate for US Senate
Erik was born into an Army family as the son of Major General (Ret) Anders and Sandra Aadland. Moving over 21 times, Erik graduated from High School in Heidelberg, Germany, then went on to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. Graduating in 2002 not long after 9/11, Erik was commissioned an Army officer and went on to serve with combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, during which he received two Bronze Stars (one for valor).
Aadland left the Army as a Captain in 2011 to pursue a career in the Oil and Natural Gas industry, which culminated as a Project Manager managing the onshore construction of the Leviathan Project in Dor, Israel. After leaving his company in 2020, Erik finished his Master’s degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Depth Psychology and chose to dedicate himself to the political arena.
With the country’s future imperiled by a corrupt establishment, Aadland once again feels called to honor his oath to defend the Constitution by running for U.S. Senate, committed to putting Colorado first.
Erik’s proudest accomplishment is his marriage of 15 years out of which he has three children (including a newborn). He currently resides in the lovely front range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and never intends to move again.
