Alison is an edutainment producer & climate alchemist, engaging Media & the Creative Arts to help change the worldwide Emotional Climate – a root of the Climate Change Crisis and nearly all our global ills. Satyen Raja

PHILIP VAIMAN of THE RED QUARTET

Latin-jazz-classical ensemble The Red Quartet’s first album is an evocative blend of European and South American traditions and sounds performed by four virtuosos who play here as one. 

Featuring the rich soprano voice of Marissa Steingold, the fiery guitar of Kenton Youngstrom, Philip Vaiman’s elegant and vibrant violin, and Maksim Velichkin’s deeply sonorous cello, The Red Quartet presents a departure from the usual string quartet lineup (first violin, second violin, viola, cello). 

Each Red Quartet member is a virtuoso in chamber, symphonic, and jazz, with vastly different musical influences, education, and experience. Yet as seasoned professionals they blend their exceptional musicianship and experiences create a fluid, sensuous, passionate ensemble sound. 

“Red to us is associated with life, vibrancy, and excitement,” said Vaiman, who founded and leads the Quartet. 

Known for its eclectic repertoire in live performances, The Red Quartet debuts on record with reimagined adaptations of jazz favorites “Three Preludes” by George Gershwin; J.S. Bach’s timeless “Trio Sonata”; the Brazilian art song “Aria” from “Bachianas Brasilieras” by Villa-Lobos; and three playfully sensuous selections from Jobim and Gilberto’s bossa nova standards.   

Vaiman produced the sessions for “The Red Quartet” at Watersound Studios in Sherman Oaks, California, working with recording engineers Carlos Castro and Marco Gamboa. Gavin Salmon provided additional percussion on the bossa nova tracks. The production’s bright, warm intimacy puts the listener right in the studio with the musicians. Mastered by Alan Yoshida, the album is being released on the independent Talia Records label. 

The Red Quartet’s members are all first-call session players in Los Angeles recording and film studios and have appeared at prestigious venues worldwide. They have recorded for and performed with artists including Sting, Dave Matthews, Aretha Franklin, Tony Bennett, Taylor Swift, Goo-Goo Dolls, Rod Stewart, Shakira, Pearl Jam, Guns N’ Roses, Andrea Bocelli, Placido Domingo, Stevie Wonder, Josh Groban, John Legend, and KISS. 

The group has performed in Southern California for several years at venues including the Clark Library and the Bruman Chamber Music Festival at UCLA, the Summer Sounds Classical and Jazz Series in West Hollywood, and the Colburn School’s Zipper Hall.

MICHAEL J. SAUL

Producer, Writer and Director, Michael J. Saul has been an artist and filmmaker all his life. For the last 25 years Michael’s corporate and non-profit video and print work has won awards and has increased the visibility and collateral value of many companies and non-profits. His passion for communications and marketing has resulted in high-profile work that has been seen world-wide. 

As an independent filmmaker, Michael has produced and/or directed award-winning short and feature film projects that screen in film festivals around the globe, and most of his titles are in wide distribution.

Michael is the director of both 360 dome shows: James Hood’s, “Mesmerica,” and James Hood’s, “Beautifica.” Both shows are returning to 360 theaters and planetariums world-wide in 2022.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio. Michael currently resides in Long Beach, California.

BIG SKY CITY LIGHTS w/ SUSAN O’DEA and NICK SPEAR

Big Sky City Lights is an indie-folk duo made up of Susan O’Dea and Nick Spear, whose dreamy-harmony-infused Americana sound is at once vintage yet current. Their self-released debut album, “Wake Me When We Get There”, landed them a feature on Good Morning America and coveted spots at various festivals, including Sisters Folk Festival, and Under The Big Sky Festival on the bill with Jason Isbell, Tyler Childers, Orville Peck, Emmylou Harris, and others.

This episode is about a doctor who heals chronic physical and emotional issues where others cannot. My guest is Dr. Gregory Taran, who is a social scientist and holistic doctor, trained in psychology, behaviorism, sociology, anthropology, ethology, and human behavior. His 2nd degree is in osteo-kinesio-therapy and applied kinesiology with treatment methods such as: osteopractice soft techniques, cranio-sacral therapy, kinesiology, and functional neurology. Gregory worked in the field of neurophysiology with elite athletes, as the physician-healer for Olympic swimmers, judo, and sambo wrestlers. Dr. Taran is well versed in psychotherapy, gestalt therapy, hypnotherapy, psychosomatics, Somatic Experience, New German Medicine, Satori healing, and psycho-kinesiology. He integrates his methods to diagnose and treat patients with chronic diseases, auto-immune illness, medical conditions with unknown etiology, cancer remission and other before-untreatable conditions. His methods have resolved conditions such as: Lupus, IBS, arthritis, colitis, allergies, kidney disease, lymphoma, migraines, and infertility problems. Dr. Taran has eradicated patient’s chronic problems with back pain, neck pain, joint, foot, knee, hip, and jaw pain. This episode features a woman who is an author, witch, and priestess who sees and communicates with fairies and elementals. My guest is Morgan Damilier, who writes about Irish myth and magical practices, fairies, and related subjects. Her writing has appeared in multiple magazines and anthologies, including Pagan Dawn and Naming the Goddess. She has presented papers on the intersection of fairies and fiction for Ohio State University’s ‘Fairies and the Fantastic’ conference as well as the ‘I’ll Met by Moonlight’ conference. Morgan is the author of fiction and non-fiction books including the urban fantasy/paranormal romance series Between the Worlds, and bestsellers Fairy Witchcraft, Fairies, Pagan Portals: The Morrigan, and Pagan Portals: Brigid.
