The Watkins Award with Tyrone Tate and J Everette Pearsall
Guest, Watkins Award Honoree Savon Huggins. He was a 5 Star running back in high school who went on to be honored and graduate as a scholar-athlete at Rutgers University. Savon also played for the University of Northern Iowa and received a Master’s Degree. He is now Coach Huggins at Boston University.

The Award is emblematic of an extraordinary athlete, a bonafide scholar, and a person who has been recognized by prominent people in his community as a leader, volunteer, and community advocate.
