The Sports Doctor Guest, Johann Ilgenfritz November 27, 2019
Founder & CEO - UK Health Radio Network

Johann Ilgenfritz attained his Master in Photography in Germany, working successfully as a Fashion Photographer for almost 20 years in Hamburg and London. His life changed drastically in 2011 when he had a heart attack and six month later was diagnosed with cancer.

After unsuccessful Radio Therapy he was left to find other survival options which he did. During his search for a cure he turned to the internet, soon realising that there was no one central point where you could turn to for heath information, regardless of what your health issue are. He decided on creating just such a platform and six weeks later, launched the beta version of UK Health Radio, still fighting cancer at the time.

Through Nutritional and Lifestyle changes he finally beat cancer and since then has been named “The Curator of Health Expertise” by the press. His mantra is “Good health is a choice”! He went from believing that cancer was the cause of his illness to realising that cancer was only a symptom of an already sick body. He knew if he could change the cause he would change the effect.

Through his vision, UK Health Radio (www.ukhealthradio.com) has attained a very clear purpose, this is to inform and animate people to take responsibility for their own health. This does not mean taking your health into your own hands, but to be part of the process of attaining and/or keeping your health freedom. It is all about being informed, being empowered and being healthy!

UK Health Radio has the most in-depth information on the widest range of health and wellness topics - available anywhere today. All aspects of health and wellness, fitness, diet and nutrition, illness prevention and environment issues, but with the main focus on prevention rather than cure.

UK Health Radio presents it's information through 41 shows, that air 24/7, with 1.3M and growing, very dedicated listeners. Rex has written and directed two independent feature films, California Without End and From Hollywood to Deadwood (Island Pictures).  He wrote the 2000 Academy Award-winning Best Live Action Short My Mother Dreams the Satan’s Disciples in New York.  His Sideways sequel Vertical won the Gold Medal for Fiction from the Independent Publisher Book Awards in 2012.  His Sideways 3 Chile forms the final leg of the trilogy.

In 2012, Rex adapted his novel into Sideways: the Play.  He staged four record-breaking runs, first at Ruskin Group Theatre in Santa Monica where it ran for 6 months, then the La Jolla Playhouse, where it broke all attendance records for a non-musical in their 35-year history, with 3-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff directing.

In 2017, in collaboration with composer Anthony Adams, Rex turned his attention to the musical version of Sideways.  Two years later the Book for the musical is finished, half the songs are composed and recorded, and a 3-time Tony Award-winning musical theater director (to be announced soon) has come on board.  There is every likelihood that the “workshop” (or premiere) production will happen in the latter part of 2020.

Words Women and Wisdom Show Guest, Melody Chardon November 26, 2019
Intentional Lifestylist and Certified Grief Recovery Specialist

Embrace Your Natural and Necessary Grief

With Intentional Lifestylist and Certified Grief Recovery specialist Melody Chardon.

You may associate grief with the death of a loved one, but any life change can cause grief. Divorce, relationship breakup, miscarriage, career change, job loss, retirement, caring for aging parents or selling the family home can all trigger the emotions of grief.

Grieving is a highly individual experience. How you grieve depends on many factors including your life experience, personality and coping style. While grief is inevitable, most of us have never been taught how to grieve. The coping strategies we use are unnatural, unhelpful and unhealthy.

During this interview, Melody will provide safe, healthy and effective strategies to help you:
• Identify and come to terms with past or present grief
• Cope with the lingering pain of loss or change
• Pick up the pieces and move on with your life

After a major trauma, many people can live their lives feeling hopeless and heartbroken, disheartened and disenchanted. Instead of moving on from the loss, moving forward with their recovery, they stagnate, endlessly reliving the negative experience, while telling that same story, searching for something, someone to blame. Imagine what could be possible once you Embrace Your Natural and Necessary Grief...

Life Changes Show Guest, Daniel Bruce Levin November 25, 2019
Author of THE MOSAIC

DANIEL BRUCE LEVIN

Daniel Bruce Levin walked away from a huge opportunity (to work his way up from pushing a broom to running a billion dollar business), to hitchhike around the world to find happiness and inner peace. His life has been dedicated to finding the peace and contentment that comes from truly knowing yourself. His mission has become holding the space for others to find that peace too.

One day away from being ordained a Rabbi in Jerusalem, Israel, Levin left to come back to America. He opened a cafe and bookstore in San Francisco and then went to live for 10 years in a Monastery in the Foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains as a Monk.

He became the Director of Business Development at Hay House and played a big part in helping it grow from $3,000,000 to $100,000,000 over the next 10 years. Levin is a rare blend of mystic and businessman; he believes it is his ability to see things from different perspectives that draws people and companies to work with him and  it is what brings him his greatest joy.

He is the author of THE MOSAIC, a beautiful fable that touches the heart and soothes the soul, but to this day, he feels he is not the author. He knows it was the characters of the fable that actually wrote this story.

The Mosaic is a story that will touch the heart and soul of anyone who has ever experienced loss or felt alone and disconnected. It is a story of hope and of seeing a world you never saw before.  It is, a story of connection and in one way or another, it is the story of all of us.

The fact that you are here now means The Mosaic has found you. It invites you now, to read its pages. Let me warn you, it may appear simple but it should come as no surprise to the reader, that a story that speaks of seeing what you can’t see, would hint at connections that when taken would open doors to illuminate a completely new reality.
