Charles Boulevard is a Pan-European band based in Prague, Czech Republic.
Charles write their own music and all members contribute to the song writing. The fact that they come from different cultures and musical backgrounds has enriched their sound and they have succeeded in weaving together an intriguing tapestry of musical styles. United in their affection for that golden era vintage rock sound the band have put their own identity on the music to create something truly fresh and original.
Their first album titled Rendez-Vous! was released in 2020.
Feelin Low is the first single off the debut album from Portland OR based rock band Despite Trying. Despite Trying combines elements of classic rock, blues, southern rock, and grunge into a one-of-a-kind sound. In the 70’s and early 80’s Bud Elkin produced and did radio airplay for an Indie label Warning Records.
Bud grew up playing Blues, country, country rock, and rock and roll. His writing consists of love songs, blues riffs, and rock with positive themes.
Founded by Bud Elkin, the band’s gravel voiced lead singer and songwriter, makes Florida his home base.
Richard Koechli (1962) is an independent roots music artist from Switzerland; a guitarist, singer and songwriter who has been moving in the melting pot of Blues, Country, Folk and Rock for 30 years. He has played with well known artists such as Larry Garner («I‘ll never forget your slide-guitar!»), Greg Koch («Koechli plays great and he‘s a very nice guy»), Philipp Fankhauser («he‘s the only one of the roots & blues guys in Switzerland able to lay it sooo far back until it gets that very particular J.J. Cale kinda feel»), Lilly Martin, Jens Kruger and many more.
