Donna Corso

Engaging, this book offers a rich dose of insights which allows readers to ponder on the true nature and blueprint of their own lives. Thought-provoking, it leads one to the discovery of beginnings and endings, as represented by the cycle of life, death and rebirth. The story showcases the journey of a boy and his family, struggling through the dictates of the western laws and medical world. This is the journey this family is willing to travel for the sake of their young sons choices for the life and death he chooses faced with terminal bone cancer. A riveting work that will move you to you laugh, cry, get angry and make you care. What would you do if this was your child? This book also contains various personal accounts of those who were able to approach their own final days in peace and acceptance. A literary inspiration that will serve as a wake-up call for those who wish to understand the truth that life is a continuum, and that in reality, there is no ending nor beginning.

marion brownlie

I Marion Brownlie, the Author of Facing Demons and I AM Source Guidance Oracle cards. My philosophies –as in Facing demons-are very much in line with your radio presentation themes. I would love to offer you a copy of Facing Demons as an ebook. I would welcome an interview or spot on radio with you. I am happy to work with you on this. The following is the back page blurb. There are three chapters on my web site and other information. Please feel free to contact me if you would like more. I look forward to hearing from you. Facing Demons is one woman’s story. An unfolding journey that takes her from the depths of despair and near suicide to the height of spiritual enlightenment. Her journey started with a life-changing experience, that put her on the path to self-empowerment and healing, the subconscious, spirit possession, alternative dimensions, and the power of love and hope. These experiences, often stranger than fiction, show how Marion overcame adversity and healed herself with strength, resilience and determination. Facing Demons is Marion’s story. It is an autobiography intended to show the story rather than tell, and documents how we all have the ability to access the same qualities if we so choose. Facing Demons is an unfolding journey of spiritual enlightenment, hope and love. Take Marion’s hand and journey through her life with her… “I found ‘Facing Demons’ full of amazing and inspiring revelations which essentially followed Marion’s being true to her intuitive self within belief in the highest good. It is an incredibly honest account of her life with her physical, emotional and spiritual interconnections and influences encouraging the reader to identify with her struggles and solutions and admit to the power we all know we have. I know my own awareness shifted while reading this book, leaving me feeling uplifted and empowered to follow my truth” — Elizabeth Dowling, B.A.(Visual Arts), MMH (Art Therapy)AThR Namaste, Marion Ph. 02 66246998 Lismore NSW Email marion@facingdemons.com

About Marion I have had a very varied, and some would say a ‘strange and extraordinary life’. Facing Demons is a story based on the experiences and the philosophies I have formulated from these experiences. When I was thirty years old and suicidal I had a life changing spiritual experience. This experience was the catalyst in rebuilding my life. I grew up in New Zealand and became an adult in Australia. I am a qualified Master Practitioner and Counsellor of Neuro Linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy, Massage and Reflexology as well as being a Healer, Psychic and Mother. Many of my discoveries challenge conventional thinking. Along with my healing work, I organise and run personal development and meditation groups and teach self-hypnosis. To add a little self-interest, in 2005 I won a bronze medal in K1 vet 45 woman’s at the Australian kayak nationals. In 2008 and 2009 I won Gold. Most people find me open and approachable and I have an inbuilt fascination for how people think and function as human beings. The book has been written with the intent to help and give hope to people who are on their own spiritual quest and to help them develop skills that will support them throughout their lives.

Amy Rose

1. Amy Rose is the Canadian "Redneck Diva." She is an Independent Country Music Association award winner, as well as an Ontario Country Music Association award nominee. Her single, "I Just Want You To Know" hit #9 on the New Music Weekly country chart, and #85 on the Music Row chart. Her new single, "Party Like a Redneck" is currently climbing both charts (#22, #116.) She recently performed at CMA Fest and will open for Big and Rich in the fall.

“A Rose by any other name would smell as sweet…” said Juliet, in Shakespeare’s famous play, Romeo and Juliet. The question is, would they sound as sweet as THIS Rose? Part down-home country girl, part sophisticated musical veteran, Amy Rose has already earned a reputation for being one of Ontario, Canada’s best-known secrets. From her early years on small-town fair and festival stages, to her brand-new, Nashville-recorded single, this Rose with the soaring vocal range and pop country sensibilities is on a journey to the world stage and beyond…THIS is the beginning! Recorded at Sony Tree Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, “I Just Want You To Know” was the first single from Amy’s forthcoming third album, The Beginning. The track, a pop-country cover of a song originally recorded by the Backstreet Boys, was produced by Glenn Coulson and Marty Beecroft of After Tuesday Productions. It was the Most Added Single at country radio, weekending October 26, 2012, according to New Music Weekly magazine, and it reached #9 on the NMW Country chart and #85 on the Music Row chart. The song also helped Amy receive the “Rising Star” nomination in the 2013 Ontario Country Music Association awards and three nominations in the 2013 Independent Country Music Association Awards; Amy won the ICoMA award for Emerging Artist. It also helped her earn a Barrie Cultural Grant award, voted on by a jury of professionals from across Canada. The song was released to the European market in April 2013, and has been aired on more than 200 stations for 5 consecutive weeks. Next up: The US release of “(Redneck Reunion) Party Like A Redneck,” a song that was co-written by Amy and her producers. It features some heavy-hitters on the Nashville studio scene: Mark Prentice, bass (Vince Gill, Keith Urban;) Glen Duncan, fiddle (Reba, Shania;) and Mike Rojas, keys (Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan,) among others. A funny, tongue-in-cheek music video has already secured a spot in the rotation on CMT Canada, and it was recently the #1 music video on OnlyLyrics.com. The video for “Redneck Reunion” also debuted in the Top 25 Most Watched Music Videos on Y’allwire.com (#21) and it has more than 100,000 views on Youtube. The track reached #7 on the Independent Music Network country chart, and it has received airplay in Netherlands, UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, Denmark, and of course, Canada. It was the 3rd most added track at country radio for the week of April 23, 2013. Currently, the single is #22 NMW and #116 Music Row. Amy Rose grew up in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, where she began her singing career at the age of 5. Her first public performance was in a singing contest at the Barrie Promenade Days, a local fair. A series of singing competitions followed, including her most memorable early moment: “It was at the Kinmount Fair,” Amy recalls. “I had been the winner for the previous three years, when I was lucky enough to meet one of my local heroes, Jason McCoy (2001 CCMA Best Male Artist.)” It was also during this period that Amy was trained in, and mastered the art of yodeling, earning her the respect of Ontario’s country music community. Amy’s first album, One Special Girl, was released independently, when she was 13. On the strength of this album, she landed a spot on Dorian Baxter’s Gospelenium Tour, opening for Joni and Cathy Twitty, the daughters of her then-idol, Conway Twitty. Other openers for The Wilkinsons, Emerson Drive and High Valley followed. Her 2nd album, The Last of the True Believers, was released in 2001, receiving airplay, and earning her the reputation as one of Canada’s best young female artists. A brief hiatus from recording gave Amy the opportunity to raise a family with her husband; passing along the strong values that have always been an important part of her life. During this period, she continued to inspire live audiences by performing for fundraisers and promotional events, including those for Opry Orillia, Opry North, Penetangueshene Centennial Museum, and other Midland events. But, Nashville began to whisper in this northern girl’s ear… In the Summer of 2010, Amy began working with After Tuesday Productions, best known for their recent #1 iTunes album by Derek James Tilley. Earning Amy comparisons to contemporaries like Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson, “I Just Want You To Know” and “(Redneck Reunion) Party Like A Redneck” are just a preview of what lies ahead for this burgeoning vocal superstar. Remember, this is only the beginning…

Doug Briney

Doug Briney is the "Alaskan Cowboy." Recently re-located to Nashville, Doug's album "It's All Country" has been on the Roots Music Report charts for 8 consecutive months. He is signed with Tate Music Group, who will be releasing his sophomore album this summer. Doug was a pastor at the Cowboy Church of Anchorage and a motorcycle and military enthusiast. He is also an ICoMA award winner.

When you think of cowboys and country music, the cold climate and frozen tundra of Alaska might just be the last place on earth that you would think of. But, the northern-most state in America is right where up-and-coming country artist, Doug Briney’s career began. With two nominations in the 2013 Independent Country Music Association Awards, eight months on the Roots Music Report charts, as well as appearances at Rodeo Alaska, The Iditarod, and the Alaska State Fair, this God-fearing road warrior with the warm baritone voice and love for all things southern is now bringing his Alaskan persuasion to Music City, USA – Nashville, Tennessee. With the March 2012 release of his debut CD, “It’s All Country,” Doug Briney showcased his signature sound, which he cultivated from years of touring camps, churches and conferences across the US. “We even played in an airport once, to impress a pretty girl for one of the band members,” he says with a laugh. Blending traditional influences from country music’s past, like Lee Greenwood, Gatlin Brothers and Kenny Rogers, with modern contemporaries like Toby Keith and Trace Adkins, Doug created an original, honest and authentic sound all his own. “It’s All Country” is a timeless collection of well-known country classics from recent memory (“Bleed Red”, “Voices”, ”Ol’ Red”) alongside heart-warming and inspiring new tracks, such as the singles, “More Than Just a Farm,” “It’s All Country” and “Déjà vu All Over Again,” all of which gained international airplay, chart success and video recognition. All of them topped the Only Lyric’s chart and CMG Radio chart, as well as receiving more than 300,000 total Youtube video views. The album reached #6 on the Roots Music Report True Country chart, and remained in the Top 40 for 8 consecutive months! In October 2012, Doug signed a digital distribution deal with CBM Records, who re-released Doug’s album in January 2013. It reached #11 on the itunes Country New Release chart. Doug’s third single, “Déjà vu All Over Again” is currently #21 IMN. In February 2013, Doug signed a recording contract with Tate Music Group, home to country legends like Lee Greenwood and Neal McCoy. Doug recorded vocals for his sophomore album, “Super Country Cowboy” in May 2013. A late summer release is expected. While recording in the studio is a labor of love for Doug, performing live on stage is his true passion. He has been a finalist for two year running in the KBear Radio “Country Idol” in Anchorage, Alaska. Through his associations, he also met and performed live with Kelly Clarkson, before her big American Idol win. In March 2013, Doug sang the National Anthem for the start of Alaska’s biggest event, The Iditarod. Next stop for Doug: Nashville. “I like to tell people that I’ve sung at the Grand Ol’ Opry. Of course, it was in the parking lot..but some day!” It’s this sunny disposition and witty sense of humor that is making country music fans sit up and take notice of this cowboy as one of the “good guys in white.” Living up to that reputation can be a difficult task for any artist, but for Doug, it is second nature. Grateful for being able to live his dream of performing and recording music, he has gladly given back to his community in a big way. He is involved with charities like the Wounded Warrior Project, Support Our Troops, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, as well as being a pastor at the Cowboy Church of Anchorage, up until his family’s move to Nashville. In fact, it’s his unwavering faith that keeps him grounded along his musical journey. Still think a country singer can’t come from Alaska? Just ask this Alaskan Cowboy: “I have come to know and love the Cowboy Lifestyle through country music…And, it is who I am now, who I have been, and who I will always be.”

Jiggley Jones

Jiggley Jones is an Americana/Alt-country singer-songwriter from Philly. His album, "No Spring Chicken" reached #21 on the Roots Music Report Americana chart, and he is gaining national airplay. His music has been featured on MTV shows in the past, like the Dennis Rodman show. He recently performed at CMA Fest in Nashville, The Bitter End in NYC, and Make Music Philly Day at the Hard Rock Cafe.

“His sound is so huge, it seems like it is everywhere and is as much coming to him as from him. He appears to be drawing in the sound while drawing in the listener.” A quote from former manager George Grauer, and a great description of the musical attitude that encompasses the debut release from singer/songwriter Jiggley Jones. Now under the professional direction of MTS Management Group and Michael Stover, who says “ Jiggley has that one-of-a-kind sound that I look for in an artist. His songs will touch you and move you with their beautiful lyrics and melodic strength.” Now let’s not let the word “debut” fool you though. Just like the title of this 4 song EP, “No Spring Chicken”, Jiggley himself has lived. “Lets face it, I’m not 18 anymore and thank God for that”, says Jones. “I’m no longer coming from a place that I have to in order to fit in, I’m coming from a place that is different because that is what I’ve become. No tattoos, no piercings, just music, strong and true, music that paints a picture.” However you want to look at this picture, whether it’s Americana, Wide Open Country, or acoustic whatever, this artist represents life, hope, and human nature as only a seasoned person can see it. The record, starting with the overwhelming strength of “Baby Blue”, a deep celebration of a new born life, to “Welcome Home” with it’s ability to remind you how comforting the idea of home can be, to track three, a fun hillbilly party called “Ain’t That Alright”, “No Spring Chicken” covers enough variety (the spice of life) to remind you of bands like The Beatles. The final track really takes variety to the next level, being an early Christmas release called “Christmas 365”. This song is full of holiday reminders and touches on the idea that if Christmas was all year round then would it lose it’s special place in one’s heart. On the other hand, if we treated everyday like Christmas would life be a better experience all around. Jiggley Jones, the project, came about in late 2007. Jiggley, whether alone or a member of various bands in the past has written or co-written well over 100 songs. His experience has taken him through various phases and musical endeavors including a stint during his younger years working in entertainment public relations in Los Angeles. With some success on college radio, Jones was also, as a member of a band called “Q”, involved with soundtrack projects on select MTV shows such as The Dennis Rodman Show, Cindy Crawford’s “House of Style”, and the reality show Road Rules. His band was also used in the AON Films movie “Tainted Love”, directed by Mathew Ross. All these successes were accomplished while under the professional direction of industry representatives like N.O. Management based in London, England as well as Magic Music Management and Peter Baron Productions in New York. More currently he has worked with Nashville producer Terry Wendt, a former bandleader for Shania Twain. For this new release though, he has teamed up with LA based producer Chris Tristram. His live shows have taken him to Nashville and this year’s CMA Festival where he performed at BB King’s Blues Club, as well as other top notch venues such as The Hard Rock Café in Philly and The World Café in Wilmington, Delaware.

Josey Milner

Josey Milner is a teen country artist and anti-bullying advocate, with a Top 25 NMW single, "Not Pretty Enough." That song also hit #105 Music Row, and it's currently #3 on the Indie World chart. Josey is a spokesperson for Angels and Doves, a national non-profit. She is also an ICoMA award nominee, who recently opened for Scotty McCreery to a sold out crowd

Country Music Starlet, Josey Milner burst onto the international radio airwaves with her first release in September 2012, a cover version of Miranda Lambert’s “Dead Flowers.” The debut single from this Kansas City, MO native received airplay overseas in Belgium, Netherlands, Australia, UK, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Canada, Poland and Japan, while placing in the Top 10 of an internationally-recognized country music chart. Meanwhile, her Youtube video for another classic cover, Patsy Cline’s “Walking After Midnight” has received more than 60,000 views. With recent performances at fairs and festivals in Kansas and Missouri, including a spot on the Missouri State Fair and an opener for country star Chris Cagle, this former teen rodeo and pageant princess is poised for stardom on the international country music stage. Growing up on a small farm in Missouri, one might say that country is Josey’s pedigree. At age 7, she began barrel racing at local rodeos, making the rodeo arena her first stage. She started singing the National Anthem at her youth rodeos, eventually graduating to performances at PRCA rodeos across Missouri and Kansas, including the American Royal in Kansas City. These anthem performances led to the decision for her to hang up her spurs and follow her dreams of country music fame. Josey’s country music career kicked off with her singing at country music shows, local fairs, and to pretty much anyone who would listen. In 2010, she was invited to sing on the main stage at the International Steel Guitar Show in St Louis. It was at this event that she received some sage-like advice from the veteran musicians: Get a band together, and get out there and start playing. After returning home from St. Louis, that’s exactly what she did. The Josey Milner Band has become one of the most sought-after live acts in the Kansas City area. Performing an ever-evolving and versatile mix of new country, classic country, country rock, and a little bit of Rock & Roll, Josey has led the band through raucous sets at Buffalo Bill Days, Slater Fall Festival, Holden Street Fair, Timbercreek, The Landing, and numerous others, performing for sold-out crowds and claiming the title of “Kansas City’s Princess of Country Music.” It was these live performances that attracted the interest of a national management company. In September, Josey signed an exclusive artist management deal with MTS Management Group. Soon after, her single, “Dead Flowers” debuted on the Independent Music Network’s country chart at #10, receiving tons of fan requests and international airplay. The song was also among the most downloaded on digital music delivery site, Airplay Direct. By November, Josey was ranked among the Top 200 International Artists by CMG Radio Network. Oh yeah…in the meantime, Josey earned recognition as a National Honor Society student! In December 2012, Josey released her new single, “Not Pretty Enough,” with veteran engineers Matthew Russo (Hall and Oates) and Larry Gann (Elton John) and producer, Micah Burdick. The single kicked off an anti-bullying campaign, with Josey as national spokesperson for Angels and Doves. The single was the second most-added at country radio (New Music Weekly) in its first week of release, and it reached #23 NMW and #105 Music Row. It is currently #6 Indie World. Josey is continuing with an extensive series of radio, print and online interviews, as well as taking her live shows to audiences across the Midwest and beyond. She recently performed at the Nascar Kobalt 400, for the Welcome Home Troops Benefit, the Teddy Bear Festival to benefit children’s charities, and at a CMA Fest showcase in Nashville, this June. Josey recently opened to a sold out crowd of 1500 for American Idol winner Scotty McCreery in late June and CMT star, Jon Wolfe in July. In January 2013, Josey embarked on her very first radio promotion tour, visiting stations in Tennessee, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Oklahoma. Also that month, she was named as one of the Top 10 “Hottest New Stars” in a book from PDS Entertainment. In April, Josey was nominated for Most Promising Youth Artist at the 2013 Independent Country Music Association awards. One thing is for certain, wherever her music may take her, she will always remain the small-town girl with the rodeo spurs still hanging on her wall.
