About Marion I have had a very varied, and some would say a ‘strange and extraordinary life’. Facing Demons is a story based on the experiences and the philosophies I have formulated from these experiences. When I was thirty years old and suicidal I had a life changing spiritual experience. This experience was the catalyst in rebuilding my life. I grew up in New Zealand and became an adult in Australia. I am a qualified Master Practitioner and Counsellor of Neuro Linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy, Massage and Reflexology as well as being a Healer, Psychic and Mother. Many of my discoveries challenge conventional thinking. Along with my healing work, I organise and run personal development and meditation groups and teach self-hypnosis. To add a little self-interest, in 2005 I won a bronze medal in K1 vet 45 woman’s at the Australian kayak nationals. In 2008 and 2009 I won Gold. Most people find me open and approachable and I have an inbuilt fascination for how people think and function as human beings. The book has been written with the intent to help and give hope to people who are on their own spiritual quest and to help them develop skills that will support them throughout their lives.
