Scott Clark is the co-founder of Club Joyful, a family club and cafe in Venice, CA. He is also co-founder of the bands Grand Rising, and The Keep Going.

After growing up in NY and attending Colgate University, Scott moved to San Francisco to join the burgeoning dot com scene, holding sales positions at HotJobs.com and Yahoo. He cashed out and co-founded a golf production studio called Lostball, pursuing his passion for golf, music and the creative arts.

Through that venture, Scott met his wife, moved to LA and fell back into digital media, soon joining a startup called Innovid for a 7 yr career culminating as the North American VP of Sales. Then head of brand partnerships fo Stream Elements, Covid, stay-at-home Dadding, and co-founded a crypto startup called Immuse.xyz, the demise of which led to deep soul searching, a spiritual awakening, and a life reinvented – manifested into what is now Club Joyful and Grand Rising. Lou Franzini earned his B.S. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Pittsburgh.  In between he earned an M.S. in preclinical psychology at the University of Toledo.  He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in behavior modification at the currently named Stony Brook University, NY.  He then joined San Diego State’s Department of Psychology where he is now Emeritus Professor of  Psychology.

He has authored over 100 academic articles and popular press items, 30+ book reviews, and 13 Continuing Education courses, plus five books all with traditional publishers.  He is licensed for the practice of Psychology in both CA and FL.

He has served as an Exchange Professor at universities in Belgium and Singapore. He also served as a consultant to the U.S. Peace Corps for the Jamaica Project.
