Bill Simpson is a consummate professional, as an author, speaker, podcaster, and pastor/teacher. He's been a missionary in West Africa and a pastor to two congregations. As an ardent follower of Jesus since 1982, I have experienced the wonderful truth of praying the way Jesus taught us to pray, especially in asking for his Kingdom to come. Thinking about God throughout the day by frequently launching "flare prayers" and "text praying" have taught me how to have a truly personal relationship with the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. As I have grown older, I have come to realize life is about understanding how desperately dependent on God we are.

Bill and his wife, Tammy, both grew up in Fuquay-Varina, NC. They were married shortly after Bill graduated from NC State's College of Engineering in 1981. A few months after their marriage, Bill became a follower of Jesus. After 9 years of success in business, the Simpsons realized the Lord was leading them in an entirely new direction. They sold their home and company in order for Bill to attend seminary at Columbia International University in Columbia, SC in preparation for overseas ministry. After graduation, they served as church planters in Senegal, West Africa where Bill soon became the Field Director. They served with the mission agency, SIM, for six years in Senegal. Bill’s first book was an explanation of practical theology written in Wolof, the primary language of Senegal.



When the Simpsons returned to the US in 1997, Bill was privileged to pastor their home church in High Point, NC, Community Bible Church. He served there for almost 10 years and then returned to the marketplace as a leadership consultant. Over the next 5 years, he held positions in energy efficiency and conservation with two Fortune 100 companies. Bill and Tammy were led back to the pastorate in March of 2012, as he became the Lead Pastor of Manchester Creek Community Church in Rock Hill, SC. Bill and Tammy resigned from pastoring to move to Wilmington, NC where he now writes and podcasts full-time.

An e-health and e-wellness pioneer, author, speaker,educator, and wellness visionary, Strohecker has focused on bringing fundamental wellness principles from the world's great healing and spiritual traditions into mainstream cultural awareness for over 35 years. CEO of WellPeople, his passion is exploring the essence of human wellbeing and working to stimulate the emergence of a global "Culture of Wellbeing".

He is the creator and publisher of Healthy Update, a weekly e-newsletter on wellness and integrative health in its 24^th year.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in cultural anthropology, his interests have taken him from National Geographic-funded archeological expeditions to Mayan ruins in the jungles of Yucatan, to three years of intensive study of yoga and meditation in India. 

Jim has served on numerous boards, including the President's Advisory Council for Bastyr University, the Board of Trustees of the American University of Complementary Medicine and the Institute of Natural Medicine, and the advisory boards of Nourish America, Dove Health Alliance, the Academy for Guided Imagery, National Workforce Health Economics Summit, the National Wellness, Prevention and Fitness Conference, and the Wellness Council of South Africa.

Jim has been a keynote speaker, presenter, and moderated or served on numerous panels at professional conferences.

In 2016 he received the Circle of Leadership Award from the National Wellness Institute for outstanding contributions to the field of wellness. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Nancy.

Magnum guitarist Tony Clarkin is a man who seems to never stop working. Magnum have recorded eleven new songs which feature all the traditional strengths of the British act and also live up to the band’s ambition to explore a more rock-oriented direction.

The new album was recorded by the Magnum line-up consisting of Clarkin, Catley, keyboardist Rick Benton and drummer Lee Morris, plus their latest addition, bassist Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Place Vendome, Unisonic, among others), who joined the fold to replace Al Barrow.

Magnum’s major European tour has been scheduled to start in March 2020, initially with a number of headlining shows, to be continued by a first-rate package together with Gotthard from Switzerland. This extremely successful collaboration first passed the litmus test a few years ago, and Clarkin, Catley & Co. are very enthusiastic: “Along with some classic numbers, we will also present four or five songs from The Serpent Rings,” the band promises, providing even more reasons for their fans to mark the dates in their calendars.
