Hong Kong Failing In Measures to Contain Wuhan Virus

(Malibu, CA; Jan 31, 2020) Former Doctor Without Borders member Rajeev Fernando; MD, announces he will be traveling next week to Hong Kong, on Sunday, February 9, 2020, to investigate the spread of the Wuhan Virus there, and containment issues, which has him concerned.

Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam has been widely criticized by protesters there for her reported slow response in dealing with the virus. Doctor Fernando will be available in Hong to speak with select media regarding his findings.

Australia Quarantines Citizens on Christmas Island--To be Investigated After Hong Kong

Immediately after leaving Hong Kong, Dr. Fernando will be flying to Australia to report on cases of the virus there, as well as health risks posed to residents near the bush fires. Doctors in Australia
have reportedly now recreated the virus, as has China, where the virus was reportedly first created--some argue--in a lab. Australia meanwhile, has some of their citizens quarantined, stuck on Christmas Island.
