GUEST: Jackie Ruka
Jackie Ruka’s message is simple: “A Happy YOU Creates a Happy World!” Her mission is empowering people to share their gifts with the world and helping them live more joy-filled lives.
Through her inspirational organization, the Get Happy Zone, she supports individuals to make conscious choices, fulfill their life’s purpose, claim their natural gifts and share them with the world. As a speaker, Jackie inspires audiences across the U.S. to realize their true heart’s desire with hopes for sustained spiritual happiness.
Her upcoming book, Get Happy and Create a Kick Butt Life, is a 21st century guide for answering your calling, discovering your authentic power and crystallizing your gift. She presents a revolutionary approach to establishing a deep connection with your own wise, inner guide that can support you to replace fear with desire and freedom.
In the current world economy, many people are at a loss as they endure a time of challenges that can, with awareness, lead to great personal growth. Jackie’s passion to help others was ignited by her own experience of making a life-altering choice against the odds to follow her true heart’s desire during an economic downturn in the 1990s. Listening to her inner guidance, she reinvented herself on a personal and professional level and became successful in a non-traditional, heart-centered way.
A true Renaissance woman, Jackie is a talented artist, a highly trained psychotherapist and business professional. With an extensive background as a top-rated corporate marketing expert working with many of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and Fortune 500 corporations, she incorporates her knowledge of building billion-dollar brands into building a billion-dollar mindset for success during life transitions.
Jackie has also studied human behavior and the mind-body connection for over 24 years. A fine arts and psychology major at Roger Williams University, she trained for her Masters in Creative Arts in Therapy program at Hahnemann University and Medical School and holds advanced certificates in Massage Therapy and chronic medical conditions. In addition, Jackie has over 5000 hours of client and workshop experience. Her goal in life is to empower people to overcome obstacles and be the architect to their destiny.
Guest, Kaylinn Douthett
A born and raised California sea lady, singer/songwriter Kaylinn Douthett began to record her melodies in her modest homemade studio on the Central Coast of California. Drawing influences from all that is around her, her style is somewhat stripped down, simple and refreshing in this day and age. She focuses less on polishing imperfections, and more on embracing the pure emotion and delicate feelings that emerge in new ways each time she sings a song. She calls herself The Carpenter’s Wife, and is accompanied by many other musician friends that contribute their individuality to create a unique blend of folk music. Layering sound, losing control, aiming to capture serendipity, and celebrating that moment when they feel like they do indeed capture it. Serendipity that is. Everything in its right place. Eventually.
Timeless, fluid, and fun nonetheless– that is The Carpenter’s Wife.
Life Changes Show
Come and join the conversation about what's going on and what we can do together about it, with it, and for it. We have the choice, we have the power. We can do magic if we just believe!
A show about the changes going on in us, to us, around us, and because of us. Therefore, it's technically a show about "Everything," only with a how to make it better, see it better, be better.
In the show, there is talk about, and with, people who have either been through major changes, are helping others with major changes, or people who are changing the world for the better in a major way.
The show is a one-hour talk show format with a monologue by the host, a 30 minute interview with a guest of note, capped by a "Producer's Wrap" segment, in which Filippo and Co-Host Mark Laisure, and sometimes surprise guests, bring it all home for the listeners in a sometimes humorous and sometimes touching, but always entertaining conversation.
