With the medical profession being his career choice, Dr. Johnson earned his degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine. Soon after, he discovered a passion in aesthetic medicine spending a decade as the founder of a national medi-spa chain which utilized his first skincare line, Cosmedix.

As a firm believer in practicing what he preached,Dr. Johnson utilized Cosmedix products in his daily regimen. However, he soon realized that a new strategy was needed once he noticed his own skin continued to age in appearance. This being his prime focus, Dr. Johnson went back to the drawing board and spent close to two years formulating what is now known as Osmosis Pür Medical Skincare.

At the time of development, most of the product lines Dr. Johnson examined utilized irritating ingredients that struggled to penetrate the skin.
