Her talent and dedication quickly gained attention, leading to a sold-out debut show and a headlining performance at the O2 Academy Islington.
As a prolific artist, Josephine has written and produced hundreds of songs, collaborating with notable musicians such as Lindy Layton from Beats International, drumming sensation YOYOKA, and the legendary Derrick McKenzie of Jamiroquai. In 2022, she embraced the ambitious challenge of writing and releasing a song every week on SoundCloud, and is now showcasing her versatility as an electronic music “Singer DJ” in clubs across London and internationally.
Josephine is making a significant impact with her latest singles, showcasing her distinctive style and high-profile collaborations. First up is, “Time Travel,” is a dynamic partnership with renowned Derrick McKenzie and drumming prodigy YOYOKA, featured on YOYOKA’s new album. The track features an impressive lineup of writers from the iconic band Jamiroquai: drummer Derrick McKenzie, bassist Paul Turner, and keyboardist Matt Johnson. T ogether, they crafted a vibrant instrumental foundation that Josephine enhanced with her original lyrics and captivating vocals.
Just in time for Halloween, she also released “Hey Boo!”—an energetic collaboration with McKenzie and Zoran Jevtic. This single premiered to an enthusiastic audience at the exclusive #ChefOnT our event in Barcelona, hosted by celebrity chef Charles Webb, marking an exciting new chapter in her musical career.
Derrick McKenzie’s pure passion for drumming started in his early years, when from the age of six, he fashioned makeshift drumsticks from his mum’s coat hangers, tapping out beats on the floor to the tunes playing from the radio. Even in those early moments, Derrick was certain that drumming was what he wanted to do, so he started to teach himself how to play the drums, drawing inspiration from the rich musical scene around him at the time.
By the age of ten, Derrick was already in a band, and was picked up and playing professionally by the age of fourteen. In the years that followed, he honed his skills in a range of genres, performing in different bands until joining Candyland, with whom he released an album. Subsequently, he played drums for Freaky Realistic and Urban Species, appearing on TV and touring all over the world, from Europe all the way to Japan.
In 1994 he joined the internationally renowned band Jamiroquai during their second album ‘Return of the Space Cowboy’ bringing the Disco Funk to the Acid Jazz sounds of Jamiroquai. Since joining the band, they have won numerous awards, including a Grammy, Ivor Novello, BMI and Billboard as well as producing nine albums and completing six sold-out world tours. The band is still currently writing and producing music for their upcoming album, sustaining their legacy of worldwide success.
Derrick McKenzie may be best known for being the vibrant drummer of Jamiroquai, but he is also a well established Dj. As the only combined Drummer DJ, Musician, and Producer on the international Dj circuit, he introduces a unique fusion of live drum beats with feel-good tunes to the musical world, elevating the disco funk genre for fans worldwide.
Derrick has performed and collaborated musically with award winning International musicians and Dj’s such as Grammy award winning Purple Disco Machine, Fernando Rosa, Richard Earnshaw, Matt Johnson, Michael Gary and Dr Packer with more in the works including his own passion for creating
music under his label boogie bus.
Derrick’s main style is Disco, Nu Disco, Funk, Soulful House, Jackin House, Tech House, Old Skool, also 80’s and 90’s Soul with a focus on Disco Funk.
He has Dj’d in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, The Netherlands, USA, Armenia, Australia and Mexico to name a few.

Bob Williams is the Founder and CEO of Ranch Hands Rescue. After suffering a stroke in 2007, Bob decided to retire from Motorola. After a year of rehabilitation, he decided to start a not-for-profit organization that would save animals and help people. In 2008, Ranch Hands Rescue was born, and a farm animal sanctuary for animals with special needs was established. In 2010, the Ranch Hands Rescue Counseling Program was started. Bob's vision was to partner abused and neglected animals with individuals by using Equine and Animal Assisted Counseling in an effort to help individuals who don't respond to traditional therapy. His counseling program is the only program in the country that partners abused and neglected animals in mental health therapy. Bob's passion is helping innocent victims, especially children, who require a nontraditional approach to uncovering severe trauma. He assembled a team of counseling experts who are highly trained and certified in trauma and PTSD to be another resource in our community to help individuals who are suffering and see no hope.
RHR fills a special niche in mental health counseling services community in that we specialize in treating the more complex trauma cases, such as victims of multiple abuses by multiple perpetrators and people not making progress in their current treatment programs.
Bob and Ranch Hands Rescue have been featured in over 220 TV and news stories including Animal Planet, Time Magazine, Fox Worldwide News, USA Today, CNN, Good Morning America and National Geographic. Bob recently announced plans to open the first safe house for young men 18-24 who have been sex trafficked. Bob's House of Hope will be the first in the country to do this.
Ranch Hands Rescue is currently working on a National Education Program to educate the public that boys are sex trafficked too. Ranch Hands Rescue has 2 locations. One in Argyle, Texas and one in Denton, Texas and serves the entire Metroplex. Bobs personal story as a survivor of rape, addiction, homelessness, and his story of rebuilding his life along with his passion for helping others is why Ranch Hands Rescue continues to grow. 5 Time Emmy Winner Doris Roberts said “He was one of the most incredible speakers I have ever heard, his honesty and his passion is contagious. His journey needs to be heard by everyone who has struggled with sexual abuse, rape, or addiction. I think he is amazing, and I am proud to be his friend.”
Landon Dickeson is an accomplished mental health professional with over a decade of experience in the field. He serves as the Executive Director for Ranch Hands Rescue and Bob’s House of Hope. Landon has worked with thousands of trauma survivors, and this vast
experience has driven his passion to create treatment programs for those with complex PTSD.
Landon graduated from the University of North Texas with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, after which he obtained state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Landon has experience working with high-risk youth, dual diagnosis, suicide loss, sexual assault/abuse trauma, Veteran trauma, and male victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE). He has been trained in Crisis Intervention, Risk of Harm Assessment, EMDR, Equine and Animal Assisted Counseling, DBT, TBRI, TF-CBT,
Psychological First Aid, and more.
Landon’s passion for education led him to create several trainings to increase understanding of complex trauma, sex trafficking, and overlooked populations. His speaking engagements have included the JuST Conference, TNOYS Conference, DFPS
Conference, Humanymal International Conference, numerous webinars, local events, and news stories. Landon also helped launch the first state- and nationwide billboard campaign, called #BoysToo, to educate the public about the sex trafficking of males. After years
of treating sexual abuse and trafficking victims, Landon helped create the first safe house program in the country for male victims of sex trafficking, Bob’s House of Hope.
I am a free spirit. I love the water, I love to surf and teach others how to surf. I get so passionate to share my love of surfing and the ocean with others, especially other women. It brings me great joy to show women how to navigate the ocean and flow with the waves in each of our own unique ways.
A bit about me:
I grew up always the last one to get out of the water, whether it was a lake, pool or the ocean. The water has been my special place, the one place where I can always go to feel totally free and to be me.
When I was 17 I moved to Kauai with my sisters and I went to massage school and fell in love instantly.I knew right then and there, I had found another passion. When I’m not running surf retreats or with my daughter I spend my time doing bodywork. I love connecting with others from a present space.
Love you ALL, Let's SURF
