Veera Mahajan has a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan. She was married to her husband (similar background) for 23 years. She owned and managed software businesses in Michigan for most of the married life. She was the President of the company till she broke the cycle of domestic abuse at home, divorced and moved to Malibu, CA to start over and live her happy chapter.
Veera has learned a lot about Domestic abuse in all phases of her life, as a child, a daughter, a wife and a mother. Now that she is out and is living a wonderful empowered life away from all that, she wants to make use of her boot-camp training and put it to good work. She has authored UNREPORTED, a book sharing her experiences along with the lessons learned and stories from a lot of people she interviewed, people who had lived with abuse and have come out strong and free. Through her book she wants to encourage anyone who is living in abuse to know that they are not alone and help is available. She wants people to believe that with a little courage, they can live the lives they deserve.
Veera is a publisher of a multi-media magazine called Malibu Chronicle, All Good News. Please visit http://malibuchronicle.com/. She is a Pepperdine Law School graduate with Master’s in Dispute Resolution. She is a Mediator/Arbitrator and a peacemaker.
Veera has finally learned to listen to her own heart and feelings. If it does not feel good, you know it is not good for you. She has learned to not ignore the Red Flags, that is how you get into trouble. If you are in a bad situation, try to fix is soon. If you can’t fix it, please get out of it. You deserve better. You deserve to be loved All the time, not once in a while. Stop living for the crumbs of love and life.
