DR. CHRISTOPHER MACKLIN

From losing it all to a spiritual awakening that set him on his divine healing path. 

Born as a highly aware psychic child in Chester, England, Christopher Macklin was able to perceive energy fields, spirit activity and multi-dimensional phenomena from a very young age.

He initially took the more traditional route through life and tried to fit in best as he could, but his career as a successful aviation industry engineer came to an abrupt end when a failed real estate venture caused a series of financial difficulties that resulted in Christopher living out of the back of his car, homeless on the streets of Manchester, England. In a very short period of time, Christopher found the world as he knew it turned upside down. Newly divorced, his money all gone and unable to get a job, he began to understand that the Divine had other plans for him.

In a pivotal moment sitting in a square in Manchester with nothing to call his own and nowhere to go, he promised himself and God that he would use his healing abilities to serve humanity and he surrendered the rest to God. Things began to dramatically shift after this and Christopher was afforded the opportunity to meditate for hours a day for four years in order to integrate his highest path and to understand the divine healing that he was being called to share with the world. 

Today, Christopher works with thousands of clients internationally. He provides a full range of healing services that address a spectrum of physical, mental and emotional issues and he teaches people about their divine sovereignty, divine alignment and the divine plan.

He and his wife Amanda have founded The Global Enlightenment Project to serve an awakening humanity and to support the healing needs of people all over the earth.

Sonoran Singer-Songwriter Cori Rios brings a unique brand of Desert Reggae, Cowboy Surf, and Sonora Folk on his first full length album Airizona. He records all his music in 432Hz and fronts Phoenix band The Hourglass Cats.

Terry Bouton is an Associate Professor of History at UMBC. He was the 2012-2015 Presidential Teaching Professor at UMBC and an Organization of American Historians (OAH) Distinguished Lecturer. He teaches courses on the American Revolution, the Constitution, the Early National Period, and the Atlantic Revolutions of the late-18th to mid-19th centuries (the American, French, Haitian, and Latin American revolutions). His research examines the meaning and practice of democracy during the era of the American Revolution. His first book, Taming Democracy: “The People,” the Founders, and the Troubled Ending of the American Revolution (Oxford, 2007), won the 2008 Philip S. Klein Book Prize and was an Honorable Mention for the Fraunces Tavern Museum Book Award.

Currently he is working on a new book entitled, “Foreign Founders: How European Financiers Helped Write the Constitution,” that explores the influence of foreign investors in shaping the nation’s founding moment.

Richard Grossman is a acupuncturist and an Oriental medical doctor, who works extensively with a variety of healing modalities which include herbal medicine, sound healing and ayahuasca.

Early on in his education, he had the assignment to decide what he wanted to be when he grew up. Without thinking, his answer was that he wanted to study the effects of plants and medicines on the mind – this, without even knowing that such a thing existed.

His spiritual search also started early. He was a voracious reader, focusing on Asian and South Asian philosophies and shamanism.

By the age of 15, he had concluded that the only reason to be alive was to help others out of their suffering. It was the beginning of his calling to the path of the healer.

Richard’s spiritual journey took him next to India. There, on the banks of the Ganges, he studied meditation and the deep connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Shortly after beginning his medical practice, his lifelong interest in healing and spirit merged again, joined, this time, by the power and profound beauty of entheogens with sound and music, and went on to study extensively with indigenous healers in Ecuador and Peru.

He now leads ayahuasca ceremonies in many parts of the world, and continues to offer his gifts and wisdom in the service of helping others.

Danny Zelisko began promoting concerts in Arizona in 1974. He founded the legendary concert promoting firm called Evening Star Productions, that brought worldwide attention to the youngest state on the US mainland, by the entertainment industry. He became known as one of the world’s best promoters and talent buyers, a true rainmaker when it comes to discovering and booking talent in all sorts of situations.

Beginning with promoting concerts at Dooley’s Nightclub (700 capacity) in Tempe, Zelisko and his team promoted hundreds of new and veteran bands in facilities across the valley. Acts such as The Police, Cheap Trick, Pat Benatar, Talking Heads, KISS, Bon Jovi, No Doubt, and Nirvana (among many others) performed at the intimate venue from its opening in 1976, until it closed after several ownership and name changes (aka After the Gold Rush and Electric Ballroom) in the mid-1990′s. Nightclub concerts by recording stars began happening all over the country, with Zelisko leading his territory in this area of booking.

In the 1980′s Zelisko’s company and staff grew. He became the state’s most prominent concert promoter, producing hundreds of shows each year, while also becoming New Mexico’s busiest promoter. Evening Star also promoted shows in almost every state in the USA during the 80′s and 90′s, while promoting shows in every venue, small and large alike, all over the southwest, including Vets Memorial Coliseum, the original home of the Phoenix Suns, then America West Arena, now known as US Airways Center.  Pink Floyd and Paul McCartney were among the stadium events promoted by Evening Star.

In 1990, Evening Star began promoting shows in the Desert Sky Amphitheatre, with its grand opening show with Billy Joel. The facility has undergone several name changes, including Blockbuster Pavilion, Cricket Amphitheatre, Ashley Furniture Homestore Pavilion, and finally now known as Ak-Chin Pavilion.

By the year 2000, consolidation of concert promoters began by SFX, as they bought up many of the country’s biggest promoters, including Bill Graham Presents from San Francisco, Electric Factory from Philadelphia, Don Law from Boston, Pace Concerts from Texas, and many more. Evening Star joined the ranks of these fabled promoters, by selling to SFX in 2001. Zelisko became President of the Southwest office of SFX. A few years later, Clear Channel Communications bought SFX, and Zelisko and his staff became part of Clear Channel Entertainment.

In 2006, Clear Channel spun the entertainment division and all of its promoters and venues into what is now called Live Nation, where Zelisko remained as President and then Chairman of Live Nation Southwest, until he left his post in 2011, to begin promoting shows as Danny Zelisko Presents.

Zelisko’s focus has always been on putting the right acts in the right places at the right time with the right ticket prices in order to maintain fun and excitement for audiences and artists alike. DZP continues to bring top name acts to the Phoenix area, as well as Las Vegas and Albuquerque.
