She is a visionary, spiritual teacher, transformational coach and speaker, author, Reiki Master, philanthropist and a master student of consciousness. She travels empowering and teaching students and clients how to use their mind to create a quantum shift in their business and personal lives. She is the founder of Destiny Embraced. Destiny Embraced offers classes, trainings, and programs designed to support students in aligning with soul’s agenda and becoming conscious creators. Carlenia holds a BA in Psychology from University of Maryland. Having displayed advanced intuitive abilities at an early age, Carlenia consistently sought knowledge and wisdom from spiritual masters. A student of consciousness for over 16 years she has studied under Monica Garaycoechea (Goddess Training) and Louisiana Zinn (Usui Reiki). Her training includes 2 years with Iyanla Vanzant (Inner Visions Institute for Spiritual Development), 2 years studying with Sobonfu Somé, (Ritual Healing Village) learning the ancient ways of being in community. She also studied with Master Coach Ron Davis (Ascend Spiritual Flight Academy) and spent 4 years with Israel Malik Esters (World Awakening Universal Church of Christ). Carlenia, has been supporting others in their journey of healing and personal development for many years. She has presented the staff of the second largest funeral home in Trinidad with Methods to Assist Bereaved Clients Using Reiki as well as shared the healing benefits of Reiki at a bookstore in the capital city of Port of Spain. She introduced Reiki and offered sessions to women at a Washington, DC Shelter and Safe House for Abused Women. She has hosted nationwide conference calls for “Women of Wealth” to facilitate personal development as a foundation to success and she has served as a Life Coach with COMPASS. She is currently a volunteer at N Street Village, a community of empowerment and recovery for women. Carlenia’s philanthropic endeavors have produced powerful effects locally and internationally as she has a gift of serving not only the community but those she brings together in service to the community. They include conducting (and often gifting) Reiki sessions throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area (DC, MD, VA). Carlenia’s work through “Little Dresses for Africa” created an atmosphere of community and sisterhood for the women of all ages, children and college students (male and female) who sewed the dresses locally and benefitted the children who received them with gratitude in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. In March of this year Carlenia spoke at “Fabulous You, It’s A Matter of Being”, a Women’s Empowerment Conference in Chicago, IL. In April she was a guest on “The Joan Henry Radio Show” her topic was Consciousness is our Only Reality. The more Carlenia has contributed to the development of others, the greater her desire to nurture these leadership abilities in others and create a ripple effect. Carlenia is the host of “Passionately Serving Others”, a dynamic national weekly leadership and empowerment call designed to awaken participants to the presence within so they can hear and follow the still small voice of Spirit. Her passion to understand the nature of the mind, reality and how we interact and are impacted by it, is inspired by her own journey as a child. She’s always had a passion for children especially those like her who display high levels of intuitive ability. That passion combined with her love of service has led to the creation of Kidz of the Kosmoz, a place for intuitive children to explore, hone, develop and use their abilities in service to humanity.
