The Most Powerful Angel

As she sat by the spring she contemplated her life. How she had planned for it to be different. As a child her mind ran wild with thoughts of baring many powerful children that would change the world. But now, it seems as though her life is over. She has been cast out into the desert to uncertainty of life. Would she even survive the day? Would she find life in an inhabitance far away?

Solomon had the world at his fingertips, but he chose to live in anguish. In Ecclesiastes he said, “Everything is meaningless.” Everything is meaningless without God. Without being led by the power of God one walks aimlessly in a meaningless existence.

The same can be said for Satan. He walks around aimlessly, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Satan has nothing to look forward to except a life of eternal torment. His soul purpose is to bring as many with him to destruction as is possible.

The Most Beautiful Angel

He was the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. He was adorned by precious stones: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. His settings were made of gold. God made them special for him. He was exalted above all.

He was not only wise; he was “full” of wisdom. There could be no more that could be added. He was blameless and walked among the fiery stones, the precious stones and was given supernatural power over the Kingdom of God.

There is a type of angel I want to briefly address; human angels. As we have been in and out of the hospital with dad these past few months, I have witnessed firsthand another type of servant that I believe is a servant of God; Doctors and Nurses. These are people who are doing a very stressful job but, for the most part, do it with a smile on their face. The job they do can involve some distasteful duties, but they do them nonetheless.

Have you ever had something happen to you that could not be explained? Have you ever heard of something that has happened that seems so farfetched it is hard to believe? There are many things that happen in this world that cannot be explained by ordinary means, nor can they simply be explained away by coincidence or happenstance.

Tree or Tumbleweed?

So, I asked a question this week.  Did you see it?  What did you think when you read it?  Let me guess…

Was it “HUH?!”?

Well, let me quickly explain the question, and then maybe it will make sense, and hopefully it might even get you thinking.

The question was, “Are you a tree, or a tumbleweed?”
