A program about Hanukkah and being the light.
If you're looking for new and improved direction for your life, check out this program.
Since tonight is the first night of Hanukkah, which in Jewish tradition is a celebration of the miracle of lights, we've picked "That's Enlightening" as our featured phrase of the week.
(FYI, the legal name of our non-profit company is "Enlighten, Inc."(DBA "The Laughing Heart"
"Exactly" is a very exact term, so in an effort to be more precise in our conversation, we have picked "exactly to be our featured phrase of the week. ("Exactly"- precisely, entirely, absolutely, completely, totally, just, quite, in every way, in every respect, one hundred percent, every inch.....
(Hmm...not much wiggle room in that, eh?)
"Thank Goodness" indeed. Goodness does not seem to get as much credit as it deserves and certainly not much press. So, in keeping with Thanksgiving, we've decided that our featured phrase of the week should be "Thank Goodness."
Goodness is kind of the dark horse of the human condition, patiently there and always eager to show up in any circumstance.
"Thank Goodness" Otherwise we'd be overly subject to the nefarious activities of....well...badness. Badness, unlike goodness is able to grab the headlines, and often as not, dominate our behavior.
Rochelle and I are kind of like the mailman--through -through storm and sleet, biting dogs and pounds of junk mail...we keep on delivering. "You can bet on it." So we've picked "You Can Bet On IT" to be our featured phrase of the week.
Even if you're not a betting person, it's comforting to know that you can bet on something you depend on to be there--especially when you're "all in."
Today we talk about how to increase your pleasure during the holidays and every day.
Our guest, Caroline Andrews, is a Relationship Coach and expert on the Power of Pleasure. She shares helpful advice for fueling your energy and relationships with the joy of finding pleasure.
The first of December is World AIDS Day and our guest on Sunday is Bill McColl, an 18-year advocate for HIV/AIDS policy, drug treatment and policy and criminal justice reform. He is the Vice President and Director of Health Policy at AIDS United whose mission is to end the AIDS epidemic in the U.S. through strategic grant making, capacity building, policy/advocacy, technical assistance and formative research. His interest in HIV work began while serving as Government Relations Director at NAADAC: The Association for Addiction Professionals in Washington, D.C.
Well, you have heard from a successful actress in Amy Brenneman, you heard from an established on air personality last week. This week, let's see what some "new blood" has to say about the goings on of Hollywood. Join me and my guest, up and coming filmmaker Colin Bishopp as we end our Hollywood Controversy series with conversation about the situations of Hollywood. Different perspectives spark different conversations!
This week is the second series on the 'Hollywood Controversy'. Last week it was about Weinstein. This week, JLouis puts the Kevin Spacey situation 'On The Level' with special guest, on-air radio personality Alexander Rodriguez, host of 'On The Rocks' on iHeart radio. You may agree or disagree, but listen and join the conversation.
Really? Because that's what we thought, too. Which is why "That's What I Thought" is our featured phrase of the week.
Lots to think about--too much probably. So Rochelle and I try and focus our thoughts on what really matters and how we would know.
