Colin Bishopp is a writer, up and coming filmmaker and advocate for expanded access to clean energy. His creative projects include the satirical website Poolitzer.org and the forthcoming short film Snaggletooth.

Colin spent much of his career working in politics and government, first for members of Congress and most recently as a White House appointee in the Obama Administration. In 2016, Colin received a Fulbright to lead a seminar on clean energy finance at the University of Cape Town. Colin previously taught courses in philosophy and American culture at Wilbur Wright College and Benedictine University.

In addition to his creative pursuits, Colin serves as chair of the National Energy and Water Trust, a non-profit organization he co-founded to help state and local governments expand access to clean energy and clean drinking water, especially for low income families. Colin earned his master's degree at the University of Chicago and his bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley. He lives in San Francisco.
