Luke Powell is a 1999 Watkins Award Honoree.  He was a 4.0 GPA,  5Star Academic All-American QB from Smyrna High School in Tennessee.  He attended and graduated from Stanford University where he was a First Team All-American as a kick returner and one of the school's all time best.  Luke had an opportunity to play for the Arizona Cardinals and San Diego Chargers prior to entering the coaching and administrative ranks in high school and college.
